What is a “Coon”? ‘I Will Never, Ever Forgive Them’: Maxine Waters Blasts Black Voters Who Choose Trump

Democrat Maxine Waters laid out some very nasty comments in a radio interview last week that shows why voters say she has been in Washington DC too long, the comments were concerning her opinion of Black and Hispanic Trump supporters.

That is a cornerstone to my choice of politicians, by the way.

The Daily Caller reported on Waters terrible interview:

Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters said Friday that it was “shameful” that young black voters might consider casting a ballot for President Donald Trump.

Waters joined SiriusXM’s “The Joe Madison Show” to discuss the state of the presidential election, and she had harsh words for any “black young men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump.”

Maxine Waters calls Black Republicans “shameful” and says she will “never ever forgive them”. Little does she know crooked politicians like her are the reason so many Black and Latino voters are giving Republicans a chance. We won’t disappoint like Maxine!”Robby Starbuc, a supporter of Trump’s, posted online.

I read the article at the same time I am listing to election polls that show that Black and Hispanic supporters of Trump are finding their voices to tell the Democrats they have had enough.

Is that why Waters is doubling down on the shame tactics? Why are people in her comments talking about “Coons”?

Where does the idea come from that Black Americans are not allowed to speak their minds, or support the candidate they want to support. No Republican, Black or White would assume that all Blacks would ALL vote one way or another, of that we are allowed to shame them for being naughty and not doing what they are told to do.

Who is filling the minds of people that independent Black people are undesirable or rebellious?

I say Maxine Waters is doing that in her comments. I wonder if she sees the connection to self-loathing some people develop, who do not feel free to associate with whom they choose.

I didn’t make that up.

I notice connections, and I see a connection between a post I read of a Black independent man yesterday on Facebook, and the comments Waters made.

Read the following posts. See if you see it.

One poster on Facebook, a Trump supporter posted about his experience as a Black “country boy” as he called himself.

Torrance Smith wrote on Facebook:

“Growing up being a black country boy was a legit struggle, being told you was to ” white ” to hang out with your own kind, called ugly from age 8 to 19, people call you a coon and a uncle tom since middle school. But not a day of my life I ever was self hate to anyone or anything, it’s even crazy that about 48% the people on my Facebook called me this since day one but I’m not gonna put out names cause I’m to grown for that bullshit, I’m just happy of the man I became today ? prop to my ol lady for the idea love you ❤? Sariyah Pierce

“They might say words are just words but under everything it hurts the most,” Pierce wrote on a separate Facebook post, follow the link.

What is a “coon”? Look it up. What a terrible thing to call someone.

Waters said that she didn’t understand how any Black American could cast a vote for Trump, saying, “It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump. I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know why it is on their minds.”

She went on to stress the importance of voter turnout, adding that if Trump were to win a second term he would take the United States in the wrong direction.

“The divisiveness that this deplorable human being has caused, the confrontation, the dog-whistling to the right-wing, the white supremacists, the KKK, and they are coming alive. They are emboldened because they have a leader,” she said.

I don’t understand why she takes Black Americans for granted, and lays the foundation that these Americans, because of their levels of pigmentation are not free to associate or assemble with whom they choose.

Whoever Black Americans vote for tomorrow, is their right as Americans, and perhaps Waters needs to be reminded of that, from outside of DC. She has been there for 44 years and is up for re-election tomorrow.

Here is her challenger:
