Democrat Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is so far to the left that the even the far-left media calls her a “moderate” a former speechwriter for former Democrat President Barack Obama was almost speechless when asked to describe his feelings about the matter.
Obama’s speechwriter was recorded on a podcast talk about the media reports attempting to set the narrative that Harris is something everyone knows she is not.
The New York Times says she is a “Pragmatic moderate”:
Breaking News: Sen. Kamala Harris of California is Joe Biden’s pick for vice president. A pragmatic moderate, she is the first Black woman on a major party ticket. https://t.co/Ttvh5RyxUB pic.twitter.com/NMcIz60ckH

The Federalist reported:
“In the Associated Press announcement of Biden’s choice, AP writers Kathleen Ronayne and Will Weissert write approvingly of Harris’s “centrist record” as a contributing factor in the decision. Longtime political analyst and lobbyist Doug Schoen praised Biden’s pick while arguing Harris “could help Biden solidify his position among centrist voters and even moderate Republican voters.
Not to be outdone, The New York Times characterized Harris as a “pragmatic moderate.” In an additional Harris announcement for the Times, Jonathan Martin and Astead W. Herndon refer to Harris and Biden as “two moderates” who share “center-left politics,” the Federalist reported.
Not all leftists agree.
“It is hilarious that she [Harris] is being called a moderate, she is for the Green New Deal and Medicare for all. If the Overton Window has shifted that far, then congratulations progressive activists,” said Jon Favreau.

The GOP called Harris out as being a far-left liberal:
“Joe Biden’s running mate had the most liberal voting record in the Senate last year — surpassing even Bernie Sanders — according to government watchdog GovTrack.”https://t.co/iFz0RddyBV

Looking at Favreau’s Twitter timeline shows that he is pretty far to the left, from the point of view of a Republican so it is an interesting study. Favreau has a large following and a popular podcast called, “Pod Save America”, and carries influence as a former speechwriter for Obama, although he is mostly unknown to the supporters of President Donald J. Trump, Trump himself highlighted this hilarious moment:
