Alex Berenson is a former journalist for the New York Times, an author of some pretty good novels of an American spy all of which I have read, and he is a well-known critic of the coronavirus mask mandates, lockdowns, and other mitigation techniques that most serious doctors tell us do not work.
Berenson also wrote a series of books (he calls them booklets) called “Unreported Truths About Covid-19 and Lockdowns” where he criticizes the government tyrannies over the COVID-19 virus that has a 99 percent survival rate. Each booklet in the series focuses a specific aspect of how federal and state governments have been dealing with the pandemic and how most, but not all, of them have done a serious disservice to the people who they were elected to represent. If you want to read them, you should hurry because Amazon may take them down now that he’s been banned from Twitter. The tech tyrants seem to work in tandem that way.
Berenson’s arguments are sober and fact-based, something the Left can’t stand.
Twitter has now permanently suspended Berenson’s account from its platform because of his critique of coronavirus lockdowns and mandates.
“The account you referenced has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation rules,” a spokesperson for Twitter told Fox News responding to a question Saturday night.
Berenson posts his work on Substack, the site where writers and authors alike can publish their work without the worry of being censored. After he was banned from Twitter he posted a message on his Substack account titled “Goodbye Twitter.”
“This was the tweet that did it,” Berenson wrote. Below that he presented a screenshot of his Twitter post that caused his banning from the platform before his account was taken down. “Entirely accurate. I can’t wait to hear what a jury will make of this.”
He concluded with, “Meantime, guess you’ll be getting more Substacks.”
In that tweet, he wrote that the COVID vaccine doesn’t stop infection or transmission of the virus. I think if we go over our own memories of news stories coming out that vaccinated people are being hit with the delta variant and the fact that the “science” people are telling us that we need to get booster shots to protect us further corroborates Berenson’s argument.
“Don’t think of it as a vaccine,” he continued. “Think of it – at best – as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS.”
That’s why the tech tyrants at Twitter got rid of him. Alex Berenson does not toe the party line over on Twitter, so they had to get rid of him. He was speaking truth to power and power doesn’t like it.
The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that COVID-19 vaccines “are safe and effective” following tens of thousands of clinical trials and that side effects are rare. That’s a lie in itself according to the CDC’s own VAERS system data. The CDC can post lies like that all day long and they won’t be booted from social media for misinformation.
The clinical trials done by Pfizer and Moderna for efficacy (effectiveness) and safety were ended when they intentionally lost their control group so now we don’t have the data to compare the experimental group that got the vaccine and the control group that did not. That’s because during that clinical trial, the FDA gave Emergency Use Authorization for the vaccines and the folks who ran the clinical trials took it upon themselves to call every member of the control group and tell them that they did not get the vaccine. From the article written by NPR, everyone but two left the study, which means they more thna likely went out and got vaccinated.
Berenson made headlines last year over his criticisms of the COVID-19 lockdowns and other mandates, angering tech tyrants on social media and Fake News outlets and others who have tried to silence his work on the subject.
Ironically, Berenson wrote an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal in December that warned that the pandemic ushered in “a new age of censorship and suppression.”
“Information has never been more plentiful or easier to distribute. Yet we are sliding into a new age of censorship and suppression, encouraged by technology giants and traditional media companies. As someone who’s been falsely characterized as a coronavirus ‘denier,’” he wrote at the time. “I have seen this crisis firsthand.”
It was then that Berenson was fighting with Amazon about his own self-published books that he calls booklets on COVID-19.
“Since June, Amazon has twice tried to suppress self-published booklets I have written about Covid-19 and the response to it,” he continued. “These booklets don’t contain conspiracy theories. Like the scientists who wrote the Great Barrington Declaration, I simply believe many measures to control the coronavirus have been damaging, counterproductive and unsupported by science.”
It is unacceptable that Twitter and the rest of the tech tyrants label someone’s work as misinformation only because it goes against the scam narratives of the radical Left. People still have free speech sites they can go to get their message out (like maga-chat.com), and I hope more and more crop up out of necessity. The censorship being pulled off by the social media tech tyrants is a dangerous place to go, because like the cutting down of a rain forest (it’s really a jungle!) could wipe away the next cure for AIDS, censoring sober pieces of work concerning how the coronavirus pandemic has been handled could wind up costing innocent lives, especially when information is being censored for political reasons.
