Trump’s Populist Revolution is Threatening Pelosi’s Power Already- Democrats want new Leadership

While the 2020 Presidential Election is continuing to be played out in the courts, with some states unable to complete their ballot tabulations, back in DC, there is a civil war of sorts brewing over the leadership of the US House of Representatives, and it proves that President Donald J. Trump has been right about Americans all along.

Trump has achieved a roaring success in American politics as a “fighter for the American working class,” letting those Americans identify with him with an intimate sense of their own fight against the political class. It is a fight that the average American feels, so they have cemented themselves to his leadership, with great respect.

On Wednesday, while most people were focused on the recount efforts and the slow trickle of vote counts going on in Democrat-held battleground states, a story came out of DC that was a declaration of Trump’s victory over Washington DC; Democrats want a different speaker of the House because the one they have does not identify with Americans.

Trump has remade the Republican Party, and now he has remade the Democrat party too. Democrats are making statements about the problem with socialism, and about how to serve the American people – with more money to Americans.

Fox News reported on what is emerging in DC as the moderate Democrat’s power who knows that the party has gone too far to the left.

In September, Fox reported, “Moderate Democrats, especially those in swing districts, have been pressuring House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to pass another coronavirus relief bill, signaling that blaming the Senate Republicans and the White House for the inaction isn’t flying back home with their constituents who need help.

One of the boldest efforts of revolt came Tuesday when the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus revealed their $1.5 trillion coronavirus relief plan, with 25 Democrats breaking with their leadership and joining 25 Republicans on a compromise proposal.

Rep. Max Rose, D-N.Y., was among the backers of the plan and said his frustration with leadership’s failure to make a deal pales in comparison to the frustration of his constituents needing help. It’s been four months since the House passed its $3 trillion HEROES Act — which died in the GOP-led Senate — and now Rose and fellow frontline Democrats have been urging House leadership to put another bill on the floor that could actually become law.”

And they are still mad. The Hill reported:

Stung by their party’s dispiriting showing at the polls Tuesday, two moderate House Democrats say they and other centrists are privately discussing a plan that was unthinkable just 24 hours earlier: throwing their support behind a challenger to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

The two Democrats told The Hill on Wednesday that they were reaching out to their colleagues about backing one of Pelosi’s top lieutenants, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.), for Speaker in the next Congress.

“He’s the only one prepared and positioned” to be Speaker, said one of the Democratic lawmakers. “He bridges moderates and progressives better than anyone. And most importantly, he’s not Nancy Pelosi.”

Those Democrats are not at all happy about the 2020 election results, so pay attention to that.

In an astounding victory for Trump, the Populist movement has won after decades of demanding that civil servants in DC represent the American citizen’s interests and not some faraway interest.

To a Populist, an Economic Nationalist (a person who wants Americans to have jobs) it doesn’t matter which party gets credit for fighting hardest for the American people and that has been Trump’s message from the start. SO Trump is victorious today.

Now watch the Democrats fight over his message.
