A man who has been attacked by the media for everything to the color of his skin and the style of his hair has had a major victory over an attempt to have his business tarnished and his name defamed, and the same leftist media is pouty over the whole thing.
A press statement from the Office of 45, President Donald J. Trump, on Tuesday:
“ICYMI: Statement from PGA of America and Trump Bedminster. A wonderful conclusion for all. Thank you to the PGA of America!”
“We are thankful the company employs hundreds of dedicated PGA Professionals and consistently gives back to the golf community through hosting charitable events and sponsoring junior golf programs. As stated in 2014 when announced, Trump Bedminster is a major championship-worthy golf course and in a portfolio along with some of the finest private and public golf courses anywhere in the world,” reported the PGA.
POUTY POLITICAL WRITERS
New York Daily News reported a snarky, pouty dig at Trump:
The deal effectively ends the squabble that erupted last January when the PGA decided to move its planned 2022 PGA Championship that was scheduled to be held at Bedminster.
The group’s leaders said at the time that it did not want to be seen to be endorsing Trump’s politics after his role in inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
Trump’s real estate company has suffered major losses due to customers seeking to avoid association with his tarnished brand.
He could score a billion dollar pay day from a deal to launch a Trump-branded social media company, although the finances of the launch remain murky.

Left-leading Politico took the opportunity to poke at Trump as well, doing a victory lap about the media-inspired attempt at Cancel Culture that did financial damage to Trump, their political opponent.
“The PGA dispute is just one of many ramifications the former president’s business faced after his supporters rioted at the Capitol building on Jan. 6 in an attempt to stop Congress’ certification of Joe Biden‘s election victory. In the days and weeks following the insurrection, several investors and business partners of the Trump Organization terminated their contracts with the business.
Aside from PGA, financial institutions Deutsche Bank and Signature Bank said they would no longer do business with Trump or his company. New York City also severed all public contracts with the Trump Organization, and online e-commerce firm Shopify pulled down its sites tied to Trump.
Read the whole statement and ask yourself if the pouty political readers are misreading the actions of the PGA, who have great things to say about Trump.
The left loves ‘Cancel Culture’ so the media gives them bread and circuses, but the statement doesn’t say the PGA has canceled Trump. Beware.
Trump is still cancelled and the PGA is not moving the 2022 Championship back to Bedminster though, right? I find that a "wonderful conclusion," as well.
