Trump SLAMS Biden For Blaming Him For the Fall of Afghanistan: ‘weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence’

Late Saturday, former President Donald Trump ripped President Joe Biden in a statement while the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the former president blaming the disaster on Biden’s “weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.”

Trump made the statement just hours after Joe Biden blamed him for the Taliban’s quick success in taking over the country. It is insufferable to have to put up with the likes of the house plant president accusing other people for every screw up he makes.

Biden tried to deflect any blame for the forthcoming fall of Afghanistan onto Trump in a statement late Saturday.

Biden defended his withdrawal plan from Afghanistan that was started by the Trump administration, but the truth is Biden deviated from that plan.

“One more year, or five more years, of US military presence would not have made a difference if the Afghan military cannot or will not hold its own country. And an endless American presence in the middle of another country’s civil conflict was not acceptable to me.”

Then, he blamed Trump.

“When I came to office, I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor—which he invited the Taliban to discuss at Camp David on the eve of 9/11 of 2019—that left the Taliban in the strongest position militarily since 2001 and imposed a May 1, 2021 deadline on US forces,” Biden said, attempting to blame Trump.

“Shortly before he left office, he also drew US forces down to a bare minimum of 2,500,” Biden continued.

The Taliban has taken over Herat, Kandahar, and Mazar-e-Sharif, the country’s second, third, and fourth-largest cities. They now control about twenty-four of Afghanistan’s thirty-four provinces, according to the Associated Press.

“Therefore, when I became President, I faced a choice—follow through on the deal, with a brief extension to get our Forces and our allies’ Forces out safely, or ramp up our presence and send more American troops to fight once again in another country’s civil conflict,” Biden continued.

What happened to the buck stops here? I guess the buck never got to the Biden White House.

Several hours later, Trump responded by slamming Biden over a “complete failure.”

In his statement, Trump said:

Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on Foreign policy, and may other issues. Everyone knew he couldn’t handle the pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much. He ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him – a plan that protected our people and our property and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America. The withdrawal would be guided by facts on the ground.

After I took out ISIS, I established a credible deterrent. That deterrent is now gone. The Taliban no longer has fear or respect for America, or America’s power. What a disgrace it will be when the Taliban raises their flag over America’s embassy in Kabul. This is complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.

“Still, I think he’s been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” – Robert Gates, Defense Secretary under the Obama administration.

Biden passing the blame on Trump even after he promised us on July 8 that America would not witness another Saigon embarrassment.

“The Taliban is not the south— the North Vietnamese army. They’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability. There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of a Embassy of the United States from Afghanistan,” Biden promised. “It is not at all comparable.”

And now we have images of Chinook helicopters rescuing American personnel from the US embassy in Kabul looking exactly like what took place in Vietnam when Saigon fell. What an embarrassing disgrace.

The fall of Kabul to the Taliban is forthcoming and unavoidable. The terrorist group said they are negotiating a “peaceful” transfer of power. They sent Taliban soldiers in without weapons and said they will not retaliate against government personnel or military, who opposed them for an unconditional surrender.

On Sunday, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani also fled the country, according to the Associated Press.

It’s a real fustercluck.
