During the furor (or was it das Führer?) of President Joe Biden’s executive orders that his handlers kept throwing in front of him to sign, one of those orders mandated masks to be worn on planes, trains, and buses. Sounds like a funny movie title, but I assure you this is not at all funny, tyranny never is. Enforcement of the new policy that never saw the inside of a chamber of Congress went into effect this past week. If you are caught not complying (ve have vays of making you comply, SEIG HEIL!) you will be fined pretty heavily.
The order requires face masks to be worn at airports and inside planes, on trains, public maritime vessels, ferries, and buses inside city limits all in the name of Promoting COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel.
Did you vote for this? Neither did I.
This turd in a punchbowl regulation was dumped on Transporation Security Administration (TSA) agents for enforcement like they don’t have enough to do already, and it includes “other federal authorities” as well. The federal mask cops are going to target travelers “To the extent permitted by law…federal agencies are required to implement additional measures enforcing the provisions of this Order” according to the CDC.
“CDC reserves the right to enforce through criminal penalties [but] CDC does not intend to rely primarily on these criminal penalties but instead strongly encourages and anticipates widespread voluntary compliance,” the health agency says. Voluntary Compliance, there’s a term we haven’t heard since the IRS tried to soften their image.
From February 2 to May 11, the TSA is “requiring travelers to wear face masks when they are in airports, bus, and rail stations, as well as while on passenger aircraft, public transportation, passenger railroads, and over-the-road buses operating on scheduled fixed-routes.”
The new mask order applies to “all passengers who appear to be over the age of 2.”
TSA agents can ask travelers to temporarily lower their masks to verify their identity because the (political) science says the virus wouldn’t dare interrupt an identity check for das Führer . #EyeRoll
Travelers will be permitted to remove masks while eating or drinking. But like before, people who have a medical condition can apply for an exemption if they are able to provide medical documentation. What’s the point of trying to push the idea that the government needs to be so strict in forcing compliance in order to eradicate the virus (it’s ridiculous to think this order will) yet they will make allowances for a medical condition. So, it is okay for someone who has a medical condition to spread the virus to those who do not? The entire thing is a fool’s errand.
Passengers who don’t comply with the face mask mandate could be “denied entry, boarding, or continued transport.” Eventually, the rules will change willy nilly to reeducation camps and prison time.
Here’s where the boom gets lowered on supposedly free Americans. On Friday, the TSA announced an update to ze fuhrer’s orders that fines will be imposed on anyone who dares defy the travel mask mandate. Those who dare to stand up to the Woke Supremacy will be fined $250 and repeat offenders can be fined up to $1,500. Das ist nicht ser gut für uns!
So, then I guess rich people can get away with not wearing masks, because they can afford it, right? The rest of us great unwashed will be kicked into compliance economically. The beatings shall continue until morale improves.
And just to frighten Americans even more the TSA cited “Based on substantial aggravating or mitigating factors, TSA may seek a sanction amount that falls outside these ranges.” So, you have no idea what amount they can really fine you. Isn’t that like a bill of attainder where they are punishing a person or a group of people without a trial?
“TSA will fully comply with the President’s Executive Orders, CDC guidance and the DHS National Emergency determination to ensure healthy and secure travel across all transportation sectors,” Darby LaJoye, senior official performing the duties of the TSA administrator, said. “This will help prevent further spread of COVID-19 and encourage a unified government response. As we continue to experience impacts from this pandemic, we are committed to this measure as the right thing to do for the TSA workforce, for our industry stakeholders and for passengers.”
