The Uvalde Robb Elementary School Shooter Made 3 Facebook Posts 30 Minutes Before Entering the Gun-Free School Zone

Stop listening to liberals and start protecting our kids.

On Wednesday, during a press conference, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott revealed that the alleged Uvalde Robb Elementary School shooter, Salvador Ramos, made 3 Facebook posts only 30 minutes before shooting up the school.

Anders Hagstrom, a Fox News reporter, took to social media to describe the three posts Abbott mentioned:

“Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says the Uvalde shooter made three facebook posts in the 30 minutes before yesterday’s attack: – ‘I’m going to shoot my grandmother.’ – ‘I shot my grandmother.’ – ‘I’m going to shoot an elementary school.’”

While speaking at the press conference, the governor said, “The first thing that happened was, the gunman shot his grandmother in the face. She then contacted police.”

Uvalde resident Eduardo Trinidad told Newsy, “He got into an argument with the grandmother and she was screaming, ‘He shot me! He shot me!’”

According to the Texas Tribune, Ramos was confronted by police prior to entering the school:

The gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde on Tuesday was confronted by a law enforcement officer before he entered the elementary school that became the site of his massacre, authorities said Wednesday.
But many questions remained about the circumstances that led up to his attack, after state leaders and law enforcement officers laid out a broad but horrific sequence of events during a tense press conference Wednesday. Authorities also revealed that 17 more people were injured in the rampage.
About 30 minutes before he entered Robb Elementary School, the gunman — Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old Uvalde resident — shared messages through Facebook that he was going to shoot his grandmother, Gov. Greg Abbott told reporters. Ramos then shot her in the face, confirming that in a Facebook message, Abbott said.
Soon after, he wrote on Facebook that he planned to shoot an elementary school, Abbott said. But Facebook’s parent company Meta, quickly clarified the messages Abbott described were “private one-to-one text messages that were discovered after the terrible tragedy occurred,” not public posts.
“We are closely cooperating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation,” said Andy Stone, a spokesperson for Meta.

Two teachers and all the 19 children who were shot and killed were in the same classroom, according to a state law enforcement official.
The gunman barricaded himself inside the classroom and “began shooting anyone that was in his way,” said Lt. Chris Olivarez, a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson, during an appearance on “The Today Show.”

Ramos was “able to make entry into a classroom, barricaded himself inside that classroom and … just began shooting numerous children and teachers that were in that classroom, having no regard for human life,” Olivarez said.

Abbott pointed out that the shooter didn’t have any known mental health problems, he didn’t have a criminal record, and said it’s not clear if he had a juvenile record.

“The ability of an 18-year-old to buy a long gun has been in place in the state of Texas for more than 60 years,” Abbott said. “Anybody who shoots somebody else has a mental health challenge, period.”
Ramos was eventually shot dead by police.
