On Sunday morning, CNN’s Brian Stelter had author Michael Wolff come on his show probably thinking they were going to spend time trashing former President Donald Trump, which made up about 95 percent of Stelter’s airtime over the four years of the Trump presidency, and I cannot remember a single time Stelter did not lie or tell a half truth about Trump.

Remember, Wolff is what’s known as a shock author who was ridiculed to the point where his status is “disgraced” over his book “Fire and Fury” an anti-Trump book that was touted as “tabloid gossip” laced with “false and fraudulent claims,” by former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and a lot of the mainstream media eventually came to agree with her.

You know the book was really bad if mainstream news people who absolutely hated Trump came out against it. you Up until the release of the book Wolff was a regular fixture on CNN and MSNBC and that all ended the minute the reprobates in cable news realized his fall from grace was harming them in their daily Trump-hating activities.

Stelter is a news anchor guy who isn’t a journalist. At least he has no journalistic standards that anyone knows about. Sure, he knows where to sit and how to talk like a journalist, but when he reports the news he comes off as a buffoon every time. Stelter is a left-wing activist who comically tries to act like he is morally superior to everyone else. He is considered a joke in cable news as he is known to always be on the wrong side of truth when he broadcasts in a light that he is espousing truth on the air. That’s probably why the potato head anchor brought Wolff on his show on Sunday, not realizing he was going to get berated by the disgraced author on his own show.

After talking about how Trump would watch someone on TV and call them out, Wollf said he didn’t want Stelter to take what he just said about Trump as inauthentic. He then went on and said that the media has done a terrible job and said that though Stelter is a nice guy and all he’s full of sanctimony. He told Stelter, “You are one of the reasons people can’t stand the media.”

It was a priceless moment because Stelter has this thing that he does when he doesn’t want to show emotion. He puts on a fake smile where he pulls his lips back and shows his teeth, making himself look like normal people look when someone says, “Hey, man, let me see your teeth.”

He told Stelter that he is why people hate the media and do not trust them. He nailed Stelter and I would argue the rest of CNN on-air personalities when he said they carry themselves believing that what they say is the truth and they argue from that standpoint. Wolff has a point there, because Stelter claims to be a news anchor and not an opinion guy and news anchors are supposed to report both sides of the news and let the viewer decide. That was Fox News’ motto for a long time, “We report, you decide,” and that’s something you never get at CNN or MSNBC or the other leftist news outlets. Fox splits their shows into two groups: news and opinion. Bret Baier and Chris Wallace being news guys and Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham being on the opinion side. CNN calls them all news anchors and the majority are opinion political hacks. Don Lemon, Dana Bash, Chris Cuomo, and most certainly Brian Stelter are not news people. They’re opinion and usually wrong when the facts come out in the end.

Stelter was clearly not ready for what Wolff had to say as his face broke from the fixed toothy smile to all over the map. At one point he started laughing, but you could see it was an uncomfortable laugh. The doofus just couldn’t believe someone would be that candid with him.

And it didn’t end there. Wolff then complained that CNN and other networks constantly repeated themselves reporting the same exact story over and over. A war could have broken out in the Middle East but if Donald Trump ordered two scoops of ice cream while everyone else got just one, the viewers would never hear about the war.

When Stelter finally realized he was being insulted, he bit back saying that when he reports he’s only trying to find the truth only to Wolff respond telling Stelter that people don’t want to tune in to watch Brian Stelter tell them what he thinks is the truth. And he’s right. News anchors are not supposed to do that.

After Stelter got tired of taking hits on the chin he asked the author, “Well then why did you bother coming on CNN a few times this week,” and Wolff sighed, pause for a second, then said, “Well, I’m a book salesman.”
