Numerous news outlets were reporting confusing details, over the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day news cycle, about Attorney Sidney Powell and whether she was the new Special Counsel or not, and whether or not she could get information past Trump’s inner circle to the President which many people were hoping would help him establish voter fraud happened in the 2020 Presidential election.
“Powell said she was verbally offered the position of ‘special White House counsel’ by President Donald J. Trump during Friday’s meeting but has been unable to present him with paperwork to make it official, The Hill reported.
“I am not a Robert Mueller-style special counsel,” Powell told Zenger News, adding:”[T]here was a discussion about me being a special White House counsel,” they wrote in their article titled, Powell says White House aides won’t let her help Trump.
Powell said she talked about being a “Special White House Counsel and that is different from what Robert Mueller was doing, and that was blocked after Friday night or undone, so she is not serving in that position this time.
” President Donald J. Trump says he wants a lawyer to probe “election theft,” but the president’s leading candidate, Sidney Powell, says she has been barred from the White House by the president’s own chief of staff, the Hill wrote.
In an interview with Zenger News, Powell said she had heard only radio silence from the White House following her meeting with the president in the Oval Office on last week, seemingly confirming that she was unable to speak to Trump when she visited the White House.
Footage of that interview is at the Newsweek link:
Powell met with Zenger News and offered a number of details on Voter Fraud for their review:
“I have been trying to get evidence to the President of foreign interference from China and Iran,” Powell said in the Interview.
Zenger wrote, “Powell contends that documents in the binder prove direct foreign interference and fraud tainted the Nov. 3 presidential election, and that President Donald Trump was re-elected. The entire binder is reproduced here for exclusively.”
You can follow the link above and see the report. Parts are redacted in the 270 pages, which works to establish what Powell alleges is foreign interference in the 2020 Presidential election. The report includes over 5 pages of links to voter irregularities.
“I’ve been blocked from speaking to or communicating with the president since I left the Oval Office on Friday night,” Powell told Zenger’s David Martsoko, “by apparently everyone around him.” The Hill added to the article, leading some people to believe that Trump has not seen the information at the link.
We do not have any other confirmation about the report at this time but thought the information in the report was noteworthy because it came from Powell and has links to court cases and data.
Newsweek reported on Thursday:
“While Powell and the president discussed the role last Friday in a contentious four-and-a-half-hour Oval Office meeting, she says, insiders opposed her appointment, sometimes shouting defiantly at the president. Powell’s on-the-record account reveals a White House is riven by internal feuding and a growing divide between the president’s most senior staff and his most devoted outside supporters.”
During the Zenger interview, conducted on video in a 7th-floor suite at the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC, Powell said she has had no contact with Trump since the Dec. 18 meeting.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany declined to comment on the record about whether any senior officials, including Chief of Staff Mark R. Meadows, National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien, and White House Counsel Pat A. Cipollone, have intervened to keep Powell out of the White House.
It has been established by numerous news sources that Powell is not acting on behalf of Trump, nor is she working in any official capacity, nor is her report an official White House document or indicative of anything Trump or his legal team are following up onupon>
I will bring more details if I get them.
