CNN has confirmed on Wednesday that Jake Tapper’s producer, Rick Saleeby, has resigned from his position after it was revealed that he allegedly solicited sexually explicit photos of an underage girl. Fairfax County police seized devices from his residence.
“BREAKING: Per CNN Head of Strategic Comms – Rick Saleeby, Producer for Jack Tapper, has RESIGNED from CNN following Project Veritas reporting of horrific text messages and FaceTime calls alledging sexual fantasies and potential misconduct with underage girls,” James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas, posted on GETTR.
“This is some of the sickest things I have ever seen. He was fantasizing about a 15-year-old daughter,” O’Keefe said. O’Keefe worked closely with Saleeby’s finance, the young girl’s mother, and provided him with information for his investigation, who thanked Project Veritas for exposing Saleeby’s behavior.
Project Veritas released the following video showing Saleeby quickly retreating from a Project Veritas reporter, as they were trying to get a comment from Saleeby:
Saleeby is the producer of Jake Tapper’s show on CNN. One poster on Twitter recalled that Tapper had a lot of big talk about sex crimes against children in 2017 but was very quiet about his own association with an alleged pedophile.
According to the PV reporter, no one from CNN wanted to talk about the news:

Well, Project Veritas cares. According to their press release on the matter:
“Rick Saleeby, Producer for Jake Tapper, has resigned.
The update came from CNN’s Matt Dornic, Head of Strategic Communications at the
network, following Project Veritas’ December 15th report of alleged text messages and FaceTime, calls of Saleeby’s sexual fantasies and solicitation of photos of underage girls.
As previously reported, Fairfax County police have taken some of Saleeby’s property as part of an investigation being conducted by detectives assigned to the Child Exploitation Squad of the Major Crimes Bureau. When confronted by a Project Veritas reporter early in the week outside of his court appearance, Saleeby refused to answer questions about his official status with CNN.”
The news of Saleeby’s resignation isn’t something that CNN wanted to broadcast; however, independent media sources made the story go viral on social media.
Independent journalist Lara Logan posted an announcement from James O’Keeffe that was made on GETTR because O’Keefe had been censored from posting on Twitter for his ‘bombastic to the establishment’ reports on their corruption.

The news of Saleeby comes on the heels of another CNN producer who faces child abuse charges. Fox News reported:
A Connecticut man expressed disbelief that former longtime CNN producer John Griffin was free to interact with young children while authorities spent 17 months investigating him for allegedly abusing a 9-year-old girl.
The man, who knows Griffin’s family, said Griffin, 44, and his wife, Allyson, 46, have three young children and hosted sleepovers and pool parties at their sprawling $4 million property overlooking Long Island Sound in Wilson Point, Connecticut.
People who remember how CNN battled President Donald J. Trump and his supporters will note that CNN having child-sex abuse problems is not Fake News.
