We reported yesterday that Antifa is holding a 6 block area in Seattle, Washington hostage. But the Seattle Law Enforcement experts are telling the police they need to act now and end Antifas hold.
“It can’t continue like that,” Jim Fuda, a law enforcement expert and the director of law enforcement services for Crime Stoppers – which works with SPD – told Komo news.
“Some action is going to have to be taken. Is there federal laws broken? Does the FBI need to come in? But at some point, arrests and these people are going to have to be removed, if they don’t move.”
Photos of the area show protesters have remained peaceful – pitching tents, painting, watching outdoor movies and holding gatherings with music and speeches – but police have also said they have received numerous complaints about armed guards surrounding the perimeter and asking residents who live in the area to show ID.
Police have also alluded to the potential extortion of local businesses and citizens.
Police have limited their service in the area except for 911 calls.
This sets a terrible precedent for other neighbors that may consider doing this in the future.
When have we allowed citizens to make up their own rules? We have a process, it’s called legislation. If you don’t like laws in your area you have the power to take them in front of your city council or your state capitol.
The problem is, we have not properly taught generations how our government works. Schools have neglected to empower people with knowledge. Why? Because the people creating the curriculum want to take the power of the people away and make them depend on the government.
Unfortunately one of the biggest reasons we are in this mess is because of ignorance.
