Schumer Wants To Use ‘Reconciliation’ Process To Pass Amnesty For Up to 25 Million Illegal Aliens

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), a very despicable politician, is considering pulling a slimy stunt to use a fast-track budget maneuver to legalize millions of illegal immigrants if bipartisan negotiations on providing a pathway to citizenship fall apart, The New York Times reported.

In other words, unless the Republicans agree to allow millions of illegal aliens to vote in the 2022 midterm elections, the Democrats will do something so low class that it would make all of our grandmothers fold their arms, furrow their eyebrows, and with each headshake mumble, “Mmm mmm mmm” in disgust.

For clarity, these people already have a pathway to citizenship. They failed to take advantage of it the first time they came into our country when they illegally crossed our border. The pathway to citizenship is to leave our country, then go to a legal port of entry to apply to come into our country legally. I can guarantee you that no Republican or conservative would argue against them doing that. If they would just abide by the rules the way thousands of legal immigrants do each year, hardly anyone would complain. It’s the “illegal” part that gets us.

This scheme is a backup plan Schumer has ready to go in case 15 senators from both sides of the aisle do not reach a compromise on immigration.

They wonder why negotiations aren’t going so well when what’s at stake here is Republicans never again having a fair chance to win an election and trust me if it were known that the illegal aliens overwhelmingly voted Republican the Democrats would start a program that would catapult them across the Rio Grande 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.

As it appears there will be no agreement in the foreseeable future between both parties, the radical progressives are getting nervous about Democrats not being able to seal the deal before they lose everything in the 2022 midterm elections. They know that if they get amnesty passed for millions of illegals already here, between 22 and 30 million of them and not the Democrat’s Big Lie figure of 11 million, they will never have to worry about elections ever again.

The Majority Leader has held private conversations with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus over the last couple of weeks telling them that he is “actively exploring” if it will be possible to sneak in a revision of immigration laws to Joe Biden’s infrastructure package and through the budget reconciliation method where they will only need 51 votes, according to two people who were briefed on Schumer’s scam, according to the Times. Incidentally, the Democrats plan to use reconciliation just to get their $4.1 trillion infrastructure spending package done.

The Democrats are willing to put anything they can’t get through the democratic process into reconciliation to get what they want. That is effectively getting rid of the filibuster and don’t expect any mainstream news media hacks to question the tactic. They did with Obamacare and they will do it for any bill that the majority of the American people are against. The Democrats stopped listening to their constituents on January 20.

“Democrats must act,” said Sergio Gonzales, who is the director of the Immigration Hub, an organization that claims to support a pro-immigrant agenda in Congress but in reality is a pro-illegal immigrant turned Registered Democrat agenda. “Now is the time. This year is the time. We must have citizenship this year.”

The most amazing thing is how the Democrats conflate illegal immigration with legal immigration. The two could not be more separate from each other and yet we get gaslighted every year that if you are against giving amnesty to illegal aliens whose first act on our soil was to break our immigration laws, then you are against immigration. It’s absurd.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was sober long enough last month to approve of the idea of using reconciliation to push through an immigration measure, citing the “budget impacts of immigration in our country.”

For those who have heard the term “reconciliation” thrown about before but don’t really know what it is, reconciliation is a parliamentary procedure that speeds up the passage of budgetary legislation in the US Senate. It can be used on bills for spending, revenue, and increasing the federal debt limit, and nowhere does it say anything about allowing the Democrats to include amnesty for up to 30 million illegal alien criminals.

Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), a high-ranking Democrat (SURPRISE!) also came out in favor of the sleazy tactic last week, according to the Times piece. Who woulda thunk it?

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), one of the Republicans who has been involved in the negotiations, warned that before the Democrats increase their voter base by tens of millions, they should first address the crisis at the border going on right now. Border agents said they handled 19,000 children at the border in a single month, and the Democrats want to give amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens already here through the reconciliation process.

“Before we can do anything meaningful on immigration, we’re going to have to deal with the current crisis at the border,” said Cornyn said, who has been involved in the bipartisan talks. “I don’t think the public is going to tolerate us ignoring this crisis, and it’s just going to get worse unless we deal with it.”

On using reconciliation, Cornyn said, “I think they’re dreaming. I don’t think the parliamentarian will allow that. That’s not really the purpose of reconciliation.”

I share the senator from Texas’ sentiment, but we are dealing with the Woke Supremacy here. The radicals are in charge and they will do anything it takes to secure election victories forever, including getting the parliamentarian to comply. I put nothing past them.

According to the rules that the Democrats are trying to skirt around to avoid a filibuster, in order to add amnesty for millions of lawbreakers, the Democrats have to prove that the policy change to include amnesty has a budgetary impact that is more than incidental. Merely saying between drinks that immigration costs money isn’t enough.
