President Trump has done more for the black community than any other president before him.
He has created the “Opportunity Zones” an initiative that is spurring even more economic growth in underdeveloped communities around the country. Through targeted tax incentives, the initiative is projected to generate approximately $100 billion of new private investment in communities that need it most.
President Trump’s prison reform called, The FIRST STEP Act, also included significant reforms to address criminals becoming a second-time offender, such as helping prisons improve their rehabilitation programs and allowing non-violent inmates to earn early-release credits for good behavior more easily. Thanks to this legislation, non-violent inmates will now be equipped with the professional and social skills they need to become productive members of society following their release.
President Donald Trump a bipartisan bill that permanently provides more than $250 million a year to the nation’s historically black colleges and universities, along with dozens of other institutions that serve large shares of minority students.
Trump’s economy has more blacks working and providing for than families than ever before. Blacks are at a historically low unemployment rate. And it is expected to continue after the economy bounces back after the virus. There is also a historically high amount of black businesswomen under Trump.
