One-Third of Black Voters Say Biden’s VP Announcement Makes Them Less Likely to Vote Democrat

If Joe Biden was hoping that Kamala Harris would lock up the Black vote for him, he could be very disappointed after a Rasmussen poll found that 36% of Blacks say they are less likely to vote for him with her on the ticket.

That’s a huge number and if BLM is consistent, they will not like Harris as VP.

They have not been favorable to candidates who were DAs or police officers, and yet they forget that Joe Biden helped write the crime bill that led to mass incarcerations of Blacks.

That was why Trump’s First Act bill was necessary. Biden created the problem and Trump solved it.

-but they will vote for Biden.

Tulsi Gabbard destroyed Harris in the debate when she called Harris out on her record. She hit her for the fact she sent over 1,500 people to jail for marijuana, yet in an interview, she laughed about even as she admitted she had smoked herself. She also brought up the fact that she kept prisoners beyond their release date and fought to keep the cash bail system in place.

None of this is enticing to Blacks but voting for Democrats no matter how many times they disappoint you seem to be in their DNA the same way bashing Trump even though he has delivered on a lot of promises to the Black community is practiced on a regular basis.

The media is calling her a moderate even though her voting record in the Senate is more progressive than Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey. Heck, she is even more liberal than Mitt Romney, but not by much.

From The Gateway Pundit

Earlier this week, Joe Biden named Kamala Harris as his running mate. Democrats overwhelmingly like the California senator and have their eye on her to hold the top spot in 2024 if the Democratic ticket loses this time around. Seventy-six percent (76%) of Likely Democratic Voters have a favorable impression of Harris, including 48% who have a Very Favorable impression. Just 18% of Democrats have an unfavorable view of California’s former attorney general, with 11% who say Very Unfavorable.

Twenty-four percent (24%) of all voters say Biden’s VP choice will make them more likely to vote for the Democratic ticket in November. Just as many (24%) say it will make them less likely to vote for Biden now that Harris is by his side. Half (50%) say this week’s announcement will have no impact when it comes to their vote.

But while black voters (37%) are more likely than white voters (28%) and voters not affiliated with either major party (25%) to hold a Very Favorable opinion of Harris, who would be the first woman of color to hold the office of vice president if elected, a third of black voters say Biden’s VP announcement makes them less likely to vote for Democratic ticket in November.
