Joe Biden and Barack Obama are not the buddy buddies Biden claims they are. In fact, Obama has no confidence in Biden.
He will campaign for him and openly endorse him. And it is rumored that in private Obama told someone that “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.”
There is a lot of tension between the two.
Obama’s endorsement of Hillary in 2016 might be what convinced him not to run himself.
This year, Obama refused to endorse Biden in the primaries.
Biden has no choice but to keep silent about the snub because he needs the belated endorsement from Obama.

Look at how Biden is campaigning. He is hiding out in his basement, he added radical leftist Kamala Harris to his ticket and when they do venture out in public, he refuses to answer questions from reporters. People will eventually realize that his handlers don’t want him to go out in public because his cognitive abilities are long gone.
Biden and his aides often act like they have something to prove to the Obama team that doubted them. Some Biden allies noted that Obama’s endorsement of Biden, when it finally arrived, lacked the effusiveness of his endorsement of Clinton. “I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office,” he said of Clinton in his video message in 2016. Four years later, in his endorsement video for Biden, he said: “I believe Joe has all of the qualities we need in a president right now … and I know he will surround himself with good people.”
Leon Panetta said that Biden was very loyal to Obama buyt Obama did not reciprocate.
“He was loyal, I think, to Obama in every way in terms of defending and standing by him, even probably when he disagreed with what Obama was doing. To some extent, [he] oftentimes felt that that loyalty was not being rewarded.”
I think that by November, Biden will be in a sinking ship. He can’t appear in person while them president does his massive rallies that excite the voters.
