Marjorie Taylor Greene’s 3.2 Million Dollar Fundraising Haul Mocks DC’s Power

US House member Majorie Taylor Green has been pilloried since getting to Washington DC by everyone but supporters of President Donald J. Trump. Yet, DC can’t figure out what is making her so popular with the American people.

“I am humbled, overjoyed, and so excited to announce what happened over the past few months as I have been the most attacked freshman member of Congress in history. Over 100,000 donors poured in over $3,200,000 to support me, averaging $30 per donation. You know why?” Green reported.

“…I stood my ground and never wavered in my belief in #AmericaFirst policies and putting #PeopleOverPolitics! And I will NEVER back down! As a matter of fact, I’m just getting started.

Accumulating $3.2 million with small-dollar donations is the absolute BEST support I could ask for! The $5 to $50, coming from you, God-fearing, America-loving, wonderful, hardworking people, you and our children are who I’m fighting for every day!

For too long, the political ruling class that looks down on the rest of us has been selling out America to the world by whipping the backs of the hardworking American worker and taxpayer. But they fear one thing.

The political ruling class fears the people because it’s the people that can take away what they love most. Power. Because it’s the power that brings them everything else.

FIRST THREE MONTHS OF BEING IN CONGRESS

I am one of the people, and the people are with me, and I will always be with them. WE are just getting started! In the words of my favorite President Trump, “the best is yet to come.” Thank you to all!” she posted on Twitter on Wednesday.

Greene has been the target of personal attacks, public attacks, and constant disinformation by the mainstream mend. She was stripped of her two committee assignments in early February in unprecedented anger at the new US House member, yet she only grows more popular.

“Greene’s popularity among Republicans went up 11 percentage points in the days following the vote, with 30 percent of GOP voters viewing her favorably, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll conducted from February 5 to 7. Her recognition among national voters increased by 14 percentage points. She’s aligned herself strongly with Trump, who remains popular in Republican circles,” Vox News reported.

Green has been the focus of Twitter censorship in early April, being suspended twice without any explanation.

Twitter suspends Green on Easter and then said it was a mistake.

“We use a combination of technology and human review to enforce the Twitter Rules across the service. In this case, our automated systems took enforcement action on the account referenced in error. This action has been reversed, and access to the account has been reinstated,” a Twitter spokesperson said.

In a post on Gab, a Twitter alternative, Greene had suggested the suspension was the result of the below tweet she posted wishing her followers a happy Easter.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST

AOC netted just over $726,000 in her first three months in Congress.

Green got the donations from 100,000 individual donors, and did not self-fund.

By contrast, Greene raised a little over $3 million during the course of her 2020 campaign for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, $950,000 of which she loaned her campaign.

Greene’s campaign has not yet filed its first-quarter fundraising numbers, but Greene spokesman Nick Dyer confirmed to Insider that she’d raised $3.2 million.
