Man Hysterically Shouts At Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in a Restaurant Blaming Him for Uvalde School Shooting [VIDEO]

Cruz’s NRA speech gives a much better answer to gun violence.

A man began shouting at Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in a restaurant near the National Rifle Association (NRA) convention in Houston, Texas, being held just days after the Uvalde shooting massacre.

“19 children died! 19 children died! That’s on your hands! Ted Cruz, that’s on your hands!” the man screamed.

How about we blame the shooter first?

Many anti-gun people ask how could the NRA hold its yearly convention in a town or city that just had a mass school shooting? This came up after the Columbine High School shooting in 1999, where the NRA held its convention in Columbine after the horrific shooting. Much to the dismay of the sickos of the anti-Second Amendment crowd, the locations for their annual conventions are chosen a very long time before they happen. State laws tell its 501(c)(3) organizations that they must hold an annual meeting of the officers of the organization and they must post when and where. The NRA, like most 501(c)(3) organizations, make that meeting their annual convention. And many states dictate that an organization may not change the venue of the yearly meeting within a certain timeframe of the meeting date, therefore, making it nearly impossible to move to another state or even a city within the same state of the chosen spot.

“Why did you come here to the convention?” the man shouted. He was restrained by what looked like a security detail when he attempted to get close up to the senator and scream in his face. He was then carted off and removed from the restaurant while still screaming that the Uvalde school shooting was Cruz’s fault.

The video was originally posted on the Communist Chinese Party supported TikTok app with the post status saying, “So I was having dinner and got to see a show. Ted Cruz being accosted literally the whole time, lmao.”

The Huffington Post’s Philip Lewis reposted the video on Twitter (something that probably would have gotten the Libs of TikTok account suspended) and it got a lot of reaction from people who like what the screamer was saying.

The Hill did a story on Cruz’s speech at the convention and rebuked him for “blaming everything but guns” for the Uvalde shooting.

“Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) blamed declining church attendance, violent video games, prescription drugs, social media bullying and other societal factors — but not guns — for the wave of mass shootings in the U.S. during an address to National Rifle Association (NRA) members on Friday,” the Hill said.

“We know that many of these who seek to commit the most heinous crimes, they’re isolated from human contact,” Cruz said. “They’re living a virtual life in the absence of community of community and faith and love.”

Of course, The Hill would go with the liberal argument that the guns are the problem and not the rot that liberalism has brought to our world.

Cruz reiterated that the way to stop mass school shootings is not to introduce even more gun control. If gun control laws worked, then places like Chicago, IL would be the safest places in the country. There are more gun control laws in Chicago and New York City and other cities that are breeding grounds for gun violence that you could study in a day and they’re not working. It’s because – duh – criminals do not obey laws. The dangerous other part of that dynamic is that law-abiding people do obey laws, and that means that gun control laws inevitably help criminals in the equation.

“What stops armed bad guys is armed good guys,” Cruz said. Amen.

Florida’s Polk County came up with a great answer to mass school shootings. They got rid of the Democrat-created Gun-Free School Zone laws that made children sitting ducks in schools because a shooter knows there will be no responsible adults inside the school with a firearm that they can use to shoot back at them. The State of Florida instead has opted for the Guardian Program that has some teachers armed inside the schools, and here’s the important part. They announce this fact to the world, and potential mass shooters, being a part of the world, get to hear it and it will make them think twice about shooting up a school where some of the teachers will be armed. They will then pick a school that has a sign outside the building that says something like “THIS IS A GUN-FREE SCHOOL ZONE” to shoot up instead.

The senator from Texas is a Second Amendment supporter, and he believes in the right to keep and bear arms. It is a God-given right to be able to defend yourself and your loved ones from criminals who wish to do them harm and from a tyrannical government. Tyrannical governments try to take away your God-given right to defend yourself.

The shooting in Uvalde shows us that Americans can not and should not rely on police to go after active shooters. We are now learning that police spent over an hour outside the school with an active shooter in the building. When asked why, one of the officers said they did not go inside because they could get shot. But it was their job to go inside and protect those children. Besides the police screwing up by remaining outside the building, they did not follow their training, which was apparently only weeks prior to the shooting event. That training officers received told them that they had to stop a shooter as quickly as possible. They failed.

The Uvalde police were so bad at handling the Robb Elementary School shooting, that they held back federal Border Patrol agents who wanted to go inside the building for 35 minutes until the agents ignored the cops and went into the school to end the slaughter going on.

Heads should roll in the Uvalde Police Department. Unfortunately, I think the Democrats will jump in and solely blame the gun.

Let’s not forget the culpability of the school for things that went on there that aided the shooter. There were unlocked school doors. The school could have held off the shooter by using a $1 tool like a wooden chock block to keep the shooter from being able to open doors. Each classroom should have chock blocks available inside the room so that during an active shooter event, a teacher can secure the room at least long enough until help arrives. Simple and effective.

Each security fail by the school helped the shooter continue his rampage.

What Ted Cruz was saying at the convention is what needs to be said. Instead of blaming guns, we have to look at our society and figure out how come young men are going into schools and shooting them up when this never happened in the past when gun ownership was much higher. Liberals don’t want to talk about it because they are responsible for a lot of the rot that has decayed the moral fabric of society.

You can pass all the gun control laws you want and none of them will get to the root of what is causing mass shooting events. Besides the obvious, like the disregard of human life built right into our pop culture, the changes in how we interact with each other thanks to social media, the political division of people by putting everyone into boxes based on race, gender, and sexual preferences, and the enormous amount of anti-depressant drugs being prescribed (what’s that all about?), we still have a lot of talking and searching to do to get to the root of it. Maybe I’m biased, but I believe one of the main components to why we have mass shootings is because of leftist ideology over all that goes against common sense living. It is ubiquitous.

It seems to me that every mass school shooting incident has more to do with the shooters suffering from a mental illness than from access to firearms. That would be a great place to start because over 100 million American gun owners have access to a firearm and they don’t go on shooting rampages in schools. We won’t get anywhere if we keep blaming the guns and not the people misusing them. We get nowhere by trying to take guns away from millions of law-abiding gun owners and not the criminals.

And until we figure out why we are experiencing more mass shootings than ever in history, we should take measures to protect our children in schools by getting rid of harmful Democrat policies like Gun-Free School Zone laws and put armed responsible adults in every school and announce it with big signs outside every school entrance.

Tell me a would be shooter would not be deterred from going into a school if a sign like this one were right near the entrance…
