The judge presiding over the Derek Chauvin trial, Peter Cahill is loudly criticizing Maxine Waters over the comments she made encouraging a step up in violence and also for jury intimidation.
Although he refused to call a mistrial Cahill did tell the defense that Waters’ words could be used to win an appeal in case the verdict is against him.
Just hours after Waters told rioters to step up their game and confrontational there was a drive-by shooting of National Guard troops.
The judge went off on Maxine Waters and called her incitement to violence “abhorrent” and “disrespectful” in his decision not to allow a mistrial motion from the defense. There has already been actiON against Waters for incitement to riot.
Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene has filed a resolution calling for Waters to be thrown out of the House. She has also started a petition where you can add your name to it.
This is not the first time that Waters has tried to stir up the radical leftists.
After several people, working for Trump were harassed when eating, Waters gave them instructions to harass every member of the Trump administration at restaurants and at department stores. This seems to be a pattern for her.
The decision in the Chauvin case is expected this week.
“I’m aware of the media reports. I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational,” Judge Cahill said. “But you can submit the press articles about that. This goes back to what I’ve been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function.”
“I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so I think is abhorrent, but I don’t think it has prejudiced this, with additional material that would prejudice this jury.”
