Jeff Bezos Asks If Elon Musk’s Purchase of Twitter Will Give China Leverage Over Platform Forgetting Amazon Gets Products From China

It looks like on Monday, Jeff Bezos let it be known that he’s jealous of another billionaire getting a lot of attention and he probably feels he is just as important but isn’t feeling the love.

The Amazon founder saw that Elon Musk was in the news over his purchase of the social media giant Twitter, and he had to throw in his two cents to remind everyone that he still exists.

Bezos took to Twitter to pose a question in response to another blue check mark leftist, New York Times reporter Mike Forsythe, about if China will gain influence over the social media company as a result of Musk purchasing it. Then, after he realized what an ass, he made of himself by asking that question due to his own hypocrisy; he tweeted again to note that he didn’t think Elon Musk will choose censorship.

“Interesting question. Did the Chinese government just gain a bit of leverage over the town square?”

What he really did there was to attack Musk for doing business with the Chinese with his company, Tesla. Tesla, among other things, needs parts for the vehicle’s batteries that come from China.

The tweet itself though goes to show that Bezos is not in touch with current events, as Musk has said repeatedly during interviews over the last couple weeks that he wants to turn the social media company private and make it a free speech entity. Next time, Bezos should let us know when the Vatican elects a Catholic as Pope.

The owner of the far-left rag, the Washington Post, must have picked that up because a little over an hour and a half later, he tweeted out a response to his own oblivious question.

“My own answer to this question is probably not. The more likely outcome in this regard is complexity in China for Tesla, rather than censorship at Twitter,” Bezos later added.

And then, I guess to make it appear like he’s a reasonable guy who is in the know; he tweeted yet again a minute later.

“But we’ll see. Musk is extremely good at navigating this kind of complexity.”

Like anyone asked for his opinion. Billionaires!

The slimy reporter tweeted, “After 2009, when China banned Twitter, the government there had almost no leverage over the platform,” followed up by “That may have just changed.” You would think a reporter for the old gray lady would realize that a guy who said he wants to make Twitter a free speech hub would not be in cahoots with the censoring Communist Chinese Party, but I guess this means that the misinformation news media is going to treat Musk the way they treat Republicans; with lies and innuendo intended to hurt them.

Red State’s managing editor Jennifer Van Laar responded to Bezos, saying, “What’s interesting is you suddenly caring about the Chinese government.”

That is an especially good observation since Bezos has Amazon censor certain books that leftists do not like, kinda like the Chinese government. Mark Dice noticed, tweeting, “You didn’t answer my question Jeff. Has Amazon banned any more books lately?”
