Remember on the campaign trail when Joe Biden promised that his family would not be doing business in foreign countries, especially with governments not friendly with the United States?
I guess that was just another empty promise from the empty suit. We were told earlier this year that Hunter Biden would divest himself of his 10% stake in a company he partnered with the Chinese state-controlled Bank of China.
That company BHR is a private equity firm worth $2.1 billion dollars in managed assets.
Biden claimed that he did not receive any money from the partnership, emails on Hunter’s abandoned laptop from his business partner Eric Schwerin said he would begin seeing significant payments from the firm beginning in 2019, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported.
Back in December, the Daily Caller and Fox News reported that Hunter was divesting himself of his equity stake. According to Qixinbao and Baidu, two independent services that provide business records on Chinese corporations, that never happened.
He is still in possession of his equity stake and if he continues to hold onto it, the president’s son will be business partners with China.
In his first week in office, Joe Biden has taken many steps that benefit China greatly. He rejoined the Paris Accord that allows China to pollute as much as they want until 2030.
It also calls for the United States to reduce emissions. Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline.
That oil from Canada is now quite possibly be going to China because they can run the pipeline through Canada and sent to China.
Biden also reopened the national power grid to China, even though they are known to put back doors in their products that allow them access.
Why would we ever want to give access to our power grid to China who could cripple us in time of war? Or peace even.
Biden also lifted the travel ban and has outlawed the term Chinese virus. all this in just one week. What will they receive from Biden over the next four years?
Joe Biden promised in no uncertain terms during his presidential campaign that no one in his family would engage in foreign business if he was elected president.
“No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country,” Joe Biden told reporters in Iowa. “Period. Period. End of story.”
Joe Biden reiterated his pledge in December 2019, telling Axios on HBO in reference to his family and former President Donald Trump’s foreign business dealings: “They will not be engaged in any foreign business because of what’s happened in this administration.”
