Hillary Clinton, who is a two-time failed presidential candidate, has pulled out her 2016 presidential victory speech as part of a “MasterClass lesson,” something TODAY described as “the power of resilience.” There is always some left wing outlet out there that will support this woman in her never-ending longing for wishing things were different.
The full class is being released Thursday, and in one section Clinton focuses on the speech she would have delivered on November 8, 2016 if she hadn’t suffered that epic loss to former President Donald Trump. Don’t forget that almost the entire mainstream news media said that Hillary had an over 90% chance of winning.
“In this lesson, I’m going to face one of my most public defeats head-on by sharing with you the speech I had hoped to deliver if I had won the 2016 election,” Clinton said.
“I’ve never read this out loud. But it helps to encapsulate who I am, what I believe in, and what my hopes were for the kind of country that I want for my grandchildren, and that I want for the world, that I believe in that is America at its best,” she said.
TODAY received some parts of the speech and they reported that Clinton would have told the American people that they “sent a message to the world” that “our values endure. Our democracy stands strong. And our motto remains: e pluribus unum. Out of many, one.”
“We will not be defined only by our differences. We will not be an us versus them country. The American dream is big enough for everyone. Through a long, hard campaign, we were challenged to choose between two very different visions for America,” her speech reads.
That’s funny because I remember Clinton referred to Trump supporters as a basket of deplorables.
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? [Laughter/applause]. The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it.” How can she claim that she doesn’t want an us versus them country when she created an us versus them country in her speech while she was running?
“How we grow together, how we live together, and how we face a world full of peril and promise together,” it continues.
“Fundamentally, this election challenged us to decide what it means to be an American in the 21st century. And for reaching for a unity, decency, and what President Lincoln called ‘the better angels of our nature.’ We met that challenge,’” her speech goes on, emphasizing her would-be status as the first elected female president in the United States, something she pushed all throughout the election. I have a vagina, vote for me:
“Today, with your children on your shoulders, your neighbors at your side, friends old and new standing as one, you renewed our democracy. And because of the honor you have given me, you have changed its face forever. I’ve met women who were born before women had the right to vote. They’ve been waiting a hundred years for tonight.”
She went on to talk more about the children, as most tyrants do.
“I’ve met little boys and girls who didn’t understand why a woman has never been president before. Now they know, and the world knows, that in America, every boy and every girl can grow up to be whatever they dream — even president of the United States.
“This is a victory for all Americans. Men and women. Boys and girls. Because as our country has proven once again, when there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit.”
“If you dig deep enough through all the mud of politics, eventually you hit something hard and true,” the speech reads. “A foundation of fundamental values that unite us as Americans. You proved that today. “
Who is she kidding? The progressives hated Trump because he interrupted their plans to become a globalist country. Barack Obama prepared the country for a Marxist revolution and Hillary was supposed to be the hammer coming down on our freedoms to implement a Marxist state. She was going to be the Great Controller where she not only controlled corporations but the American people. And all of that went away because Triump won and made America great again.
“In a country divided by race and religion, class and culture, and often paralyzing partisanship, a broad coalition of Americans embraced a shared vision of a hopeful, inclusive, big-hearted America,” it continues, as Clinton would have spoken of an “America where women are respected and immigrants are welcomed. Where veterans are honored, parents are supported, and workers are paid fairly.”
“An America where we believe in science, where we look beyond people’s disabilities and see their possibilities, where marriage is a right and discrimination is wrong. No matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from, or who you love,” it continues.
Hillary would have made an awful president. She wouldn’t have done any of the things Trump did for the American people. Hillary, like most elitists, looks down on the American people except when she wants their votes. We would have been much worse off than we are right now, even though President Biden has trashed everything Trump did to better the country and it was a sizable amount. But Trump had the country in such great shape that we have been able to weather the Biden storm so far. Next year, I’m not so sure.
Hopefully now that Hillary has gotten this out of her system, we can stop hearing from her about her run for the presidency. I’m willing to bet that even her most ardent fans want to stick a fork in their ears every time she comes up with some new angle to talk about it. Maybe if everyone just ignores her, she’ll go away.
