The charges against Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, who were named in a suit with former reporter Ed henry, are so ridiculous they are laughable.
The woman, Cathy Areu, a guest on Carlson’s show who goes by the name Cathy Areu “The Liberal Sherpa” was one of the accusers.
The charges are beyond flimsy as author and YouTube personality Mark Dice explained in a post he shared on Twitter.
“They’re coming for Tucker Carlson with a sexual harassment lawsuit from Cathy Areu the “Liberal Sherpa” who claims she was ‘tied to a chair’ while Tucker ‘changed in front of her,” he said.
“DETAILS: She had a mic on from the segment, and he put on his jacket after the show ended!” he said.
Wearing a microphone as someone changes a jacket is a far way from being tied to a chair as someone changes.
But it gets better. Areu sat for a photo with Carlson for the cover of her book. The same man she says sexually harassed her.
“Is it just me or is it weird to use a picture of you and someone you’ve accused of sexual misconduct against you as your cover photo?” The Blaze reporter Jessica O’Donnell said.

“The allegations against @TuckerCarlsonin this lawsuit are particularly difficult to believe. No TV guest that does as much TV as the plaintiff waits around for the producers to unhook the mic and ear piece post hit. Nobody feels bound and tied by those,” Rep. Matt Gaetz said.

A former Fox News employee has filed a bombshell lawsuit claiming that she was raped by former Fox News reporter Ed Henry and sexually harassed by Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson.
Jennifer Eckhart, a former producer for Fox Business Network, filed her lawsuit on Monday in the US District Court for Southern New York, the Daily Mail reported.
Eckhart claims that Henry – who was fired from the network on July 1 after an unnamed employee accused him of sexual misconduct – handcuffed her and raped her in a hotel room after trying to coerce her into a sexual relationship.
Areu claims she was sexually harassed by Henry, 49, and several other men at the network – including star anchors Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson and journalists Howard Kurtz and Gianno Caldwell.
The lawsuit describes how Hannity allegedly offered staff $100 to take Areu on a date while she served as a regular face on his primetime show in 2018.
“It is widely documented in the public record that Fox News has not only cultivated and fostered sexual harassment and misconduct but has consistently accepted and rewarded it,” the complaint said.
“Nevertheless, Fox News would have the public believe that it is a different place from the Fox News that was run by former disgraced Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes,” it said.
“Mr. Henry not only leveraged this imbalance of power for control over his victim, Ms. Eckhart, but asked her to be his “sex slave” and his “little w***e,” and threatened punishment and retaliation if Ms. Eckhart did not comply with his sexual demands.
“When she would not comply voluntarily, he sexually assaulted her on office property and raped her at a hotel where Fox News frequently lodged its visiting employees, thereby facilitating, whether knowingly or unknowingly, Mr. Henry’s conduct,” it said.
A spokesperson for Fox News vigorously denied any wrongdoing on their part in a statement made to The Daily Mail.
“Based on the findings of a comprehensive independent investigation conducted by an outside law firm, including interviews with numerous eyewitnesses, we have determined that all of Cathy Areu’s claims against FOX News, including its management as well as its hosts Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity & Howard Kurtz and its contributor Gianno Caldwell, are false, patently frivolous and utterly devoid of any merit,” they said.
“We take all claims of harassment, misconduct and retaliation seriously, promptly investigating them and taking immediate action as needed — in this case, the appropriate action based on our investigation is to defend vigorously against these baseless allegations.
“Ms. Areu and Jennifer Eckhart can pursue their claims against Ed Henry directly with him, as FOX News already took swift action as soon as it learned of Ms. Eckhart’s claims on June 25 and Mr. Henry is no longer employed by the network.,” they said.
And Henry’s attorney, Catherine Fot, also denied the allegations made against her client by the plaintiff.
“The Me Too movement has helped to bring to light a number of injustices in our society, and everyone that has suffered deserves to be heard. This is not one of those cases,” the attorney said.
“The evidence in this case will demonstrate that Ms. Eckhart initiated and completely encouraged a consensual relationship. Ed Henry looks forward to presenting actual facts and evidence, which will contradict the fictional accounts contained in the complaint.
“That evidence includes graphic photos and other aggressively suggestive communications that Ms. Eckhart sent to Mr. Henry,” she said.
Eckhart stood by her claims in an Instagram post she made on Monday where she was partially obscured by a shadow.
“Stepping out of the darkness and into my truth,’ she wrote. ‘I stand for all victims who have been mistreated, harassed, assaulted, and even worse, at the hands of those in power, and the institutions that continue to support them.
“My decision to speak out was not an easy one, but I refuse to let fear of retaliation, victim shaming and further attacks intimidate me into remaining silent. I am hopeful that my decision to file this action will result in positive change for women at Fox, and for all victims in the workplace,” she said.
