After it was revealed that Iran’s head of its nuclear program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was killed on Friday, Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan had a temper tantrum criticizing what he referred to it as a “criminal” killing.
Responding to Fakhrizadeh’s death, Brennan, who always sides with our enemies over the US, was quick to take to social media and tweet out his judgment and disapproval.
“This was a criminal act & highly reckless. It risks lethal retaliation & a new round of regional conflict. Iranian leaders would be wise to wait for the return of responsible American leadership on the global stage & to resist the urge to respond against perceived culprits.”
Notice how he blames the Trump administration on instinct. This from a man who lied under oath about the CIA spying on the US Senate. Why he’s not in prison yet we’ll will never know.
People like John Brennan, who voted for a communist once, think that to bring peace all you need to do is float candles down a River while singing Kumbaya. Well, in the real world it doesn’t work that way. Since its inception the state of Israel has been surrounded by Muslim nations who hate them. It is inconceivable that the Obama administration even considered allowing Iran to have a nuclear bomb. Unlike other nuclear countries who use nuclear weapons as a deterrent to war, Iran tells us over and over again that they want to use them, first on Israel, the little Satan, and then on the United States, they big Satan.
Brennan, who is always defending Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, which actually allows the terror state to legally own a nuclear bomb in 15 years, also referred to the assassination as an act of state-sponsored terrorism which he claimed was “a flagrant violation of international law.”
How come Brennan never spoke that way about Iran, which is a state sponsor of terrorism?
Incidentally, the Iran nuclear deal that Brennan is so proud of was never signed by either side. The Iranians didn’t sign it and neither did we, so the deal itself is actually non binding. And that means it’s not an enforceable. Iran was violating the agreement when the ink that was never there was still wet. How the hell could the Obama administration tell the world that the Iran nuclear deal was a done deal when no one signed it? Everything about that in ministration was a bold faced lie. and how could Brennan stand up today and defend a state sponsor of terror when the nuclear deal wasn’t signed?
How everyone on the Left conveniently forgets. On November 19, 2015, the Obama/Kerry State Department sent a letter to then-Representative Mike Pompeo that undermines really undercuts the idea that the Iran deal represents any form of a binding American agreement. It turns out that the Obama administration not only acknowledged that the deal wasn’t a treaty, but it also admitted that it wasn’t “an executive agreement” or even a “signed document.”
Here are the key paragraphs:
“The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is not a treaty or an executive agreement, and is not a signed document. The JCPOA reflects political commitments between Iran, the P5+1 (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, China), and the European Union. As you know, the United States has a long-standing practice of addressing sensitive problems in negotiations that culminate in political commitments.
The success of the JCPOA will depend not on whether it is legally binding or signed, but rather on the extensive verification measures we have put in place, as well as Iran’s understanding that we have the capacity to re-impose — and ramp up — our sanctions if Iran does not meet its commitments.”
Brennan’s comments received an angry backlash:
Don Jr “In case anyone was wondering what side he’s really on at this point. It’s insane.”
“It’s bizarre to see a former head of the CIA consistently side with Iranian zealots who chant ‘Death to America’ and reflexively condemn Israel,” wrote Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). “Does Joe Biden agree?”
“Great question,” replied fellow Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX).
Brennan responded back to Cruz, referring to the senator as “unworthy to represent the good people of Texas.”
“Why is @JohnBrennan always on the side of our Enemies?” former senior adviser to President Trump Sebastian Gorka asked.
“John Brennan and the rest of the Democrat anti-semites can’t wait to start blaming Israel and coddling the number one state sponsor of terrorism, Iran”
J. Michael Waller, Senior Analyst for Strategy at the Center for Security Policy tweeted, “There goes John Brennan, advising the Iranian mullahs again.”
“That’s rich coming from a known traitor… actually, it’s EXACTLY what you expect from a known traitor.”
