Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) (Sir Farts-a-Lot) used the deadly tornado storm that hit parts of Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas on Friday night to take a political shot at Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (R). It wasn’t just a random attack. Swalwell replied to a tweet Paul sent out to let Kentuckians know that he was coordinating with FEMA to get much-needed relief for them. Kentucky was the hardest hit state of all the states affected by the tornadoes.
As morning arrived exposing the massive destruction across the Midwest and southern states affected, Senator Paul immediately took action to help his constituents. Paul wrote to President Joe Biden early Saturday asking that he expedite requests for federal assistance for Kentucky.
Paul spent a lot of his Saturday working to help Kentuckians hit by the devastating storms. He worked with FEMA to help coordinate the federal response and he even compiled a list of resources for people who need help. In other words, Senator Paul did his job and showed he gave a damn about his people. He worked hard to make sure that FEMA and other emergency relief would be expedited. He let people who were just devastated by tornadoes know that there was help on the way, that there were people who knew they needed help and were working to get there. That’s extremely important for people who are sitting in rubble and have had their whole lives turned upside down.
Our hearts are broken for all those suffering from last night’s terrible storms .
I and my team will do all we can to assist local and state officials as they lead the immediate response, and will aggressively help families, businesses, and officials access recovery resources.

Paul let Kentuckians know that he reached out to the FEMA Director to help get relief to the people.
“This afternoon I joined a call w/ FEMA Director Criswell to help coordinate relief for the Commonwealth. FEMA has committed supplies & resources to assist in the ongoing efforts to save lives. I look forward to Director Criswell’s visit & will continue to aid fellow Kentuckians.”

Swalwell, a very sick, demented man with impulse control issues, just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to trash Paul.
The California Democrat responded to Paul’s tweet about the storms by telling Americans not to forget that Paul “has voted against helping most Americans most times they’re in need.”
“We should do all we can to help our Kentucky neighbors. God be with them — they are hurting. But do not for one second forget that @RandPaul has voted against helping most Americans most times they’re in need.”

At that point, there were bodies still being pulled out of the rubble of factories and houses and other businesses, and Swalwell felt it was an appropriate time to make a statement like that. He has no ability to read a room. It’s not like there was a feud going on between the two, not that I know about.
Eric Swalwell is a broken man. Socially, he is unsalvageable. He has never uttered a word that would force the listener to go run for a dictionary.
This is the same man who slept with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang. It was a honeypot trap that he fell right into. She chose to sneak intelligence from Swalwell because he is on the House Intelligence Committee and the Communist Chinese government determined he was the easiest target on the committee because he’s really dumb. God only knows how much he told her, unwittingly or not.
To prove the sad state of affairs that the Democratic Party has become, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) decided to keep Swalwell on the Intelligence Committee even after the revelations of his romantic encounters with the Chinese spy who convinced the dumbass she was really into him. This is because the Democratic Party has this thing where they can never admit wrongdoing by any member because they feel any acknowledgement of wrongdoing would be a stain on the party as a whole. I personally don’t think there’s any room left for new stains, but that’s just me.
Swalwell should have been removed from the Intelligence Committee immediately and by not doing so, Pelosi put our national security at risk all to protect party over country.
Less than 20 minutes after Swalwell’s deranged tweet, a user responded to Sir Farts-a-Lot reminding him that Paul was only opposed to how we fund disaster relief and that he never opposed it.
“He’s only opposed how we fund it. He’s never questioned the need.”

For Swalwell to make such an accusation is outrageous and he should be censured by the House, but if sleeping with a Chinese spy doesn’t get you into trouble with your party’s leadership, then we should not hold our breath.
Though Paul’s voting record shows he voted against some disaster relief funding, he never questioned the need for it. Whenever the issue of funding disaster relief comes up, Paul questions how it should be funded. For example, instead of allocating new spending for disaster relief, Paul talks about why not reallocate monies from other government programs like foreign aid to pay for domestic relief funding.
Paul even made his belief very clear. Once after voting against a bill that would have provided recovery funds after Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the senator from Kentucky said he supports disaster relief funding, just not new government spending.
“I would have given them 9 billion and I would’ve taken the 9 billion from somewhere else,” Paul said. “I would have taken it from foreign aid and said you know what, we don’t have money for Egypt or Pakistan this year because we have to help the Northeast.”
Paul made the comments while he was opposing a second Hurricane Sandy relief bill. The first bill was for $9 billion and the second one came to $51 billion. Paul pointed out that the bill was filled with pork spending.
Swalwell got some backlash from Twitter for his comments, pointing out he has a very flawed character.
It’s sad politics have dipped to this level. Genuinely disgusting.

If anyone knows the disastrous effects of sudden large gusts of wind, it sure is you, FangFang.

Really? Have to get political, can't just be empathetic? When you do that, it tells those folks from Kentucky who are hurting right now that they aren't really important, just something to use for cheap political points. The avg person sees you pandering, we see you

Started out so nice then veered severely off track and landed in definite poor taste.
Makes on wonder whether or not you meant the first part or if you were just taking an opportunistic swipe at an adversary.

We can always count on you to have the worst “can’t read the room” take of the day.
