Catherine Herridge confirmed a story found in Axios that broke about the Trump administration implementing some new severe policies against the Chinese Communist Party which could potentially determine whether or not Democrat candidate for President is able to establish security clearances to receive the intelligence briefings he believes he is entitled to receiving.
NEW: Senior administration official confirms to @CBSNews as accurate, adding @DNI_Ratcliffe will publicly detail the “depth + breadth of Chinese espionage + influence operations targeting the US” FIRST reported @axios https://t.co/Kv5yAREHSE— Catherine Herridge (@CBS_Herridge) November 15, 2020
According to the Axios article:
“Watch for National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe to publicly describe in granular detail intelligence about China’s nefarious actions inside the U.S.
Details: Trump officials plan to sanction or restrict trade with more Chinese companies, government entities and officials for alleged complicity in human rights violations in Xinjiang and Hong Kong, or threatening U.S. national security.
- The administration also will crack down on China for its labor practices beyond Xinjiang forced labor camps.”
The Axios article comes about the same time when Ratcliffe, the Director of National Intelligence confirmed, that Joe Biden is not getting top-level national security information until the General Services Administration ascertains that he officially defeated President Donald Trump.
Newsmax had reported on Democrat Presidential candidate Joe Biden, who claims he won the 2020 Presidential election and wanted to receive top-level intelligence briefing, noting that Ratcliff would refrain from adding Biden.
“ODNI follows the statutory direction provided in the Presidential Transition Act, which requires ascertainment of the candidate by the administrator of GSA prior to supporting a potential presidential transition,” Ratcliffe’s office said in a statement to NBC News Tuesday. “ODNI would not have contact with any transition team until notified by the GSA administrator.”
“GSA chief Emily Murphy still has not signed the office’s letter of ascertainment, which has been required since the transition act was passed 60 years ago to provide information and to unlock money used in the transition process,” Newsmax reported.
“This means Biden is not receiving the President’s Daily Brief, a compilation of intelligence reporting for the most senior officials in the government. Trump hasn’t authorized its release,” NBC reported.
Axios, reported further on the Trump administration plan to “crackdown on China” that “Unless Beijing reverses course and becomes a responsible player on the global stage, future U.S. presidents will find it politically suicidal to reverse President Trump’s historic actions.”
Axios reported, “Senior administration officials are discussing expanding a Defense Department list of Chinese companies deemed to have ties to the Chinese military.
- An executive order issued last week barred U.S. investment in 31 such companies, and any additions would likely face a similar restriction.”
Some people have speculated that would cause a problem for Biden, because he has been alleged to have numerous times to Chinese Communist Party owned businesses with are sure to be on the list.
News reports in late October by reporter Paul Sperry were, “Documents Show Hunter Biden Helped a Chinese Military Contractor BUY A MICHIGAN MANUFACTURING COMPANY With Dual-Use Capability.”
The Epoch Times reported on potential investigations in the business dealings of the Biden family that could potentially cause problems for Biden to get security clearances.
Many people expect that Ratcliff’s confirmed anticipated announcement will hold further insight on the business dealings of Biden, and could cause legal issues for him.
I will follow this story and bring more details as they become clear.
