“Still, I think he’s been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” – Robert Gates, Defense Secretary under the Obama administration
On Sunday, President Joe Biden’s Saigon-like failure in Afghanistan was put on display as American Chinook helicopters were observed flying over the Afghanistan capital city of Kabul, rescuing Americans from the US Embassy and transporting them to the city’s airport.
The eerie visual conjured endless comparisons to the withdrawal in 1975 of Americans from the US Embassy in Saigon.
Biden’s buddies of Communist China pounced on the moment to insult America. Way to go, Joe!
NBC reported that Taliban fighters entered the city of Kabul on Sunday to “negotiate” a “peaceful surrender.” To show their sincerity, the Taliban fighters who entered the city allegedly did so without arms via instructions given to them by senior Taliban commanders.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, told NBC that his terrorist group does not “wish to take revenge” on any Afghan citizens (for now) who opposed them. Those people, including government officials and military, would be “forgiven” by the terror group. Meanwhile, there are reports of Taliban fighters going door to door snatching up young girls to force an hour-long marriage on them. The logic is, Islam says you must be married to have sex, so they force the young girls to marry them, then rape them for an afternoon, then toss them out after getting an instant divorce. I would take any assurances from these animals with a grain of salt.
The Taliban terrorists are calling for unconditional surrender from the Afghanistan government. That never sounds good when you’re on the other end of it.
The inevitable fall of Kabul, and then the entire country of Afghanistan, started when the Taliban captured huge areas of the country in a little more than a week’s time.
According to the Associated Press (AP) assessments by the American military indicated earlier that “it would be a month before the capital would come under insurgent pressure,” proving once against that liberals don’t know their arse from their elbow.
Apparently, General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was more interested in understanding white rage than protecting our citizens in Afghanistan.
If nothing else, this colossal failure in Afghanistan should smack some sense into our “woke” military commanders and remind them that their missions is to kill people and break things in order to protect our way of life and it is not to turn the military into a social engineering experiment.
The gloomy images of helicopters flying over the US Embassy brought up comparisons to the speedy removal of US Embassy personnel in Saigon as then-North Vietnamese communist soldiers seized Saigon, the capital city of South Vietnam, in April 1975.

Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) points out the long-lasting legacy this moment in history will provide.
“This is Joe Biden’s Saigon.
A disastrous failure on the international stage that will never be forgotten — meanwhile Joe is on vacation.”

Chinese journalist Shen Shiwe taunted Biden, pointing out that he was a sitting US senator in 1975 when Saigon fell.
“An interesting part of history.
Joe Biden had already been a Senator for 2 years amid the Fall of Saigon in 1975, and pushed Act to welcome Vietnamese refugees to the U.S.
Joe Biden now is the U.S. President who is witnessing the Fall of Kabul.”

A little over 5 weeks ago on July 8, Biden promised them American people in no uncertain terms that Kabul would not be another Saigon and he said that the world was not going to see American helicopters rescuing American personnel from our US embassy in Kabul.
Biden made a declaration responding to a question from a reporter who asked him if he saw “parallels between this withdrawal and what happened in Vietnam,” noting that “some Vietnamese veterans see echoes of their experience in this withdrawal in Afghanistan.”
“None whatsoever. Zero,” Biden responded.
“The Taliban is not the south — the North Vietnamese army. They’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability. There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of a embassy of the United States from Afghanistan,” Biden vowed. “It is not at all comparable.”

I normally don’t end my stories by repeating myself, but in this case, it’s wholly appropriate:
“Still, I think he’s been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” – Robert Gates, Defense Secretary under the Obama administration
