They are dancing in the streets of China as they celebrate what they believe is Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election. A noted propagandist by the name of Chen Weihua, who works as a columnist at the CCP-controlled outlet China Daily says he can’t wait for Biden to be president because he will be kinder to China than President Trump.
He accused President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo of slandering China.
Chen Weihua （陈卫华）@chenweihua·China state-affiliated mediaI believe I won’t tweet nearly as much as in the past two years starting Jan 20 because I don’t have to reply to Trump and Pompeo’s daily slander on China.
I don’t expect Biden and his future Secretary of State (whoever he/she is) to be that type of lowlife.
US Intelligence noted earlier in the year that China was trying to shape public opinion in favor of Biden in the election. Not surprising when you consider how tough Trump has been on China.
There has been some controversy as Hunter Biden has been accused of profiting from lucrative deals in China.
Biden denies that his son who has raked in a lot of money from the communist country has done anything wrong.
“We assess that China prefers that President Trump – whom Beijing sees as unpredictable – does not win reelection,” William Evanina, Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center said in a statement at the time. “China has been expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020 to shape the policy environment in the United States, pressure political figures it views as opposed to China’s interests, and deflect and counter criticism of China.”
Trump argued ahead of the election that China would “own” the United States if Biden won the election. Trump’s administration was heavily critical of China since gaining office in 2017.
Before he won the nomination for president, Biden made statements that were favorable to China. President Trump accused Biden as being in the pocket of the Chinese. We should pay attention to what he does as president. Then we will know which one was right.
