Cheney Takes Shot At DeSantis; Admits She Likes Working With Democrats More Than Republicans

Cheney admits she prefers working with Democrats.

This should come as no surprise, but NeverTrumper Liz Cheney says that she prefers to work with Democrats rather than Republicans. Her impeachment vote and her dishonest work on the J6 committee told us that. She is on the verge of becoming a lame-duck after the Wyoming primary next week. The only way she can continue in politics is to become a Democrat and move to a new state. She is finished as a Republican.

We already know that she is against President Trump and now we know she opposes Ron DeSantis as well. She hinted that she might vote for a Democrat in 2024 if either of these men become presidential nominees.

She said:

“I think that Ron DeSantis has lined himself up almost entirely with Donald Trump, and I think that’s very dangerous,”

Then she began her diatribe against Republican women:

“I would much rather serve with Mikie Sherrill and Chrissy Houlahan and Elissa Slotkin than Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, even though on substance certainly I have big disagreements with the Democratic women I just mentioned. But they love this country, they do their homework and they are people that are trying to do the right thing for the country.”

What Democrat is ever doing the right thing? Chenet claims to be a solid conservative, but if you believe that I have a bridge to sell. Cheney is proud of her backing by Democrats, but what she doesn’t understand is that once she is not any use to them, she will be tested under a bus, Just ask David Hogg.

From The Daily Wire

The report noted that Cheney’s chances of holding onto her seat in the upcoming primary election next week are slim at best as polls show Cheney losing to primary challenger Harriet Hageman by more than 20 points.

Cheney recently told CNN that she does not expect to lose in her primary race but that losing may end up being the price that she pays for standing up to Trump.

“If the cost of standing up for the Constitution is losing the House seat, then that’s a price I’m willing to pay,” Cheney said.

Some Republicans who might agree with Cheney’s goals have stated that she is going about trying to achieve them the wrong way.
