Recently I wrote an article called Tennessee Church Vandalized With ‘Burn In Hell’ Message By Protesters To Upcoming Visitor in which I reported incidents of attacks against a couple of different pastors. I spoke briefly about how we really should be paying more attention to the growing wave of attacks against our First Amendment rights to freely practice our religion, speak freely about our convictions,  and to assemble peaceably.

One of the things that are being deliberately ignored by mainstream media outlets are incidents in which Christians are attacked, that is unless it’s to report how terribly rebellious and “unsafe” the selected Christians are behaving by exercising their Constitutionally-protected rights rather than follow the ridiculous mandates being imposed by far-left politicians to “socially distance” and wear masks to prevent the spread of a disease that has a lower mortality rate than that of being struck by lightning.

A few hours ago (as of this writing) a group of BLM rioters marched in Charlotte, NC, and as they were marching a young man only identified at this point as “Sam” was the recipient of what I would consider outright blasphemous verbal attacks.

From The Gateway Pundit:

The Queen City Nerve, a local paper covering the riot, tweeted that “Protesters chanting ‘Cops killed Jesus’ then ‘Fuck your Jesus’ to drown out the chants of Sam, who’s been walking alongside protesters yelling over them with ‘Jesus Saves’ as he’s done all four nights. He just got covered with silly string after this video.”

I’m less interested in pointing out the blasphemous attacks than I am in calling on Christians to WAKE UP and smell the coffee! This is not a day to be cowering in our homes with our masks securely fastened and bowing submissively to those who demand that we keep silent about our faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

A number of those whose knowledge of scripture far surpass mine are all saying the same thing. They are saying that we are now in the period referred to in the Bible as the “beginning of sorrows.” That means that we are closer than ever to the Second Coming of Christ, and this is the time for us to really dig in and do all we can to evangelize the world before that happens.

If you think things are bad now, you ain’t seen nuttin’ yet, honey. Once the Christians are out of the way, evil will be absolutely unshackled.

We’re all faced with choices…to be hot, cold, or lukewarm. God has ZERO tolerance for the lukewarm, so now is the time for us to turn up the fire, let Holy Spirit wash out the sin, and get busy! There’s a world out there that needs to turn to Jesus, accept his sacrifice on Calvary’s cross as the price paid for their salvation, and that he was raised from the dead to pave the way for them to be forgiven and restored to right-standing with God.
