Passively allowing the many third-world guerilla political movements on the left to institutionalize the ‘permanent revolution’ industry in America has gotten to the point finally where Americans are starting to feel some discomfort and push back a little bit. Polls are showing that Sports fans are not buying Social Justice in their games.
“35% of sports fans said they watched less sports because of woke political messaging. And ratings pretty much reflect they aren’t lying about it,” Yahoo News reported this week.
According to their article, “worth noting is that Independents came in somewhere in the middle, with about 8.7 percent saying they watched more sports in the social justice era, and about 38.6 percent saying they watched less.
The Yahoo News survey was conducted by YouGov using a nationally representative sample of 1,606 U.S. adults interviewed online between March 22-25, 2021. Respondents were asked, “How has the discussion of politics in sports on social media impacted your viewing habits,” and given the option to answer that they watched more sports, fewer sports, or the same, with a breakout option to state that they are not sports fans at all.”
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Progressives have dominated sports news mixing coverage of events with actual activism for years; however, in early April, sports fans have reached peak annoyance with attempts of “woke” capitalism to impact fans directly.
Now people are angry and tuning out.

However, according to Yahoo News, it is not going as well in real life as it goes on in the left’s fantasies.
“In the wake of last summer’s social justice protests, which consumed sports for much of the second half of 2020, nearly half of all Americans changed their sports viewing habits, according to a new YouGov / Yahoo News poll. As athletes and leagues embraced a new, progressive strategy aimed at amplifying messages of social justice and political advocacy, some Americans began watching more sports, but about three times as many watched less,” Yahoo reported.
“Men were more likely to turn away from sports as a result of social messages; 37.6 percent of males said they had tuned in less, as opposed to 28 percent of females. Meanwhile, 13 percent of men said they watched more sports in the wake of social justice movements, as opposed to only 7 percent of women,” according to the polls.
“The breakdown by political party runs as might be expected given the tenor of the national conversation around sports. About 13.7 percent of Democrats say they watched more sports in the wake of social justice movements, while 19 percent watched less. On the other hand, only about 8.6 percent of Republicans watched more sports, while 53 percent watched less once social justice messaging became prominent,” they reported.

Noteworthy is that even though the social justice push in the news is not economically beneficial, the media keep at it, hoping to shape public opinion.

On Friday, Major League Baseball announced it will no longer allow the 2021 All-Star Game to be held in Atlanta, blaming an election law recently passed by Georgia’s legislature and signed by the governor. The law is about voting reforms, and if you actually read it, there is nothing bad in it that the Democrats and the Woke Supremacy are crying about. There is no voter suppression. Black people can vote in a variety of ways.
So now the Woke Supremacy doesn’t even want state legislatures to be allowed to create their own laws. That means that the people who live in those states with strict voting laws to curb voter fraud, people who vote for their legislature, are to be ignored and dismissed, and we should probably throw in an accusation of racism while we’re at it. Welcome to 2021.
The left destroys everything it touches. They already destroyed football and now they’re going after baseball too. They won’t be happy until everything that is near and dear to Americans’ hearts is destroyed.
Some reporters are saying that this move by the MLB could put them in an awkward position because other states have even stronger voting restrictions than Georgia.
Republican Governor Brian Kemp said in a statement in response to the news, among other things that “Georgians — and all Americans — should fully understand what the MLB’s knee-jerk decision means: cancel culture and woke political activists are coming for every aspect of your life, sports included.”

The All-Star Game was to take place on July 13 in Atlanta as part of the midsummer break that includes the Futures Game on July 11 and Home Run Derby on July 12.
MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred Jr. issued a statement saying that after consulting with “Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance,” he “decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft.”
Manfred went on to say that the MLB “fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions at the ballot box,” adding that “fair access to voting continues to have our game’s unwavering support.”
He ended it by saying that the league is “finalizing a new host city and details about these events will be announced shortly.”

I think the state of Georgia should not allow the game to be broadcast and they should close all MLB stores in the state. A boycott is a boycott. And if I were the Braves, I would sue the MLB for extortion.
The MLB just told every Georgian baseball fan to go screw off.
Kemp signed the state’s new election reforms into law last week, which includes changes such as requiring absentee ballots be verified with a photo ID and expanding early voting for primary and general elections.
Democrats will probably continue to argue that black people are too stupid to know how to get a photo ID. They even think they’re too stupid to learn how to use the Internet. I think after the next election when every black or a person of color voter will have no problems voting, the Democrats will be seen for the sky-is-falling as that they really are.
As expected, Democrat politicians are screaming over the new law, with some calling for a boycott of Georgia, calling the law restrictive. If you consider closing loopholes that allowed fraud restrictive, then I guess it’s restrictive because that’s all the law does. It makes it less likely for voter fraud and I think everyone should be happy about that regardless of their political party. If you’re angry about voter fraud being thwarted, then you must want voter fraud, and you’re too intellectually dishonest to say it out loud.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) caved to the Woke Supremacy and withdrew its support of a federal lawsuit seeking to overturn an insane state policy in Connecticut that allows transgender athletes to race in women’s track competitions.
The lawsuit was filed by some female runners who argued that they had been deprived of wins, athletic opportunities, and even state titles due to the fact that they were unfairly forced to compete against transgender runners who are biologically male.
Under the Trump administration, the DOJ had filed a statement of interest in the lawsuit back in March in support of the suit that seeks to change the policies of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference. Then-Attorney General Bill Barr argued that the unfair competition violated Title X, which among other things protects equal opportunities for females.
But now the lunatics are running the asylum in Washington, DC. You know the type, people who always inexplicably find the need to tell conservatives that they believe in “science” – as if conservatives don’t – but then go on to explain to us that if a biological man puts on a dress and says out loud that he is a woman then he is, in fact, a real woman.
The DOJ statement was withdrawn on Tuesday.
Connecticut US Attorney John Durham and other officials said in a statement that the “government has reconsidered the matter.” Translation: the crazies are now in charge and it’s going to be hell for the next four years.
The CIAC argued that it’s following guidance from state law that stipulates students should be accommodated according to their preferred gender identity. But Title X is federal law and the Democrats who have always wrongly argued that federal law, outside of the original 18 enumerated powers found inside the Constitution along with any powers that came with amendments, supersedes any powers of the states. Now that it’s working against them they changed their tune. Suddenly they believe in states’ rights. But how much do you want to bet something else will come along next week say in Texas or Florida where the same crazies will argue that states’ rights don’t really exist because they block whatever nonsense they’re dealing with at that time?
The Alliance Defending Freedom, who filed the federal complaint, made the argument that the CIAC is violating the equal rights of female athletes.
“Girls deserve to compete on a level playing field. Forcing female athletes to compete against boys is grossly unfair and destroys their athletic opportunities,” said ADF legal counsel Christiana Holcomb. She will be flogged, FLOGGED I tell you, by the Woke Supremamcy once they wind of her attempts to argue that there are only two genders, something that mankind has understood since the days man climbed down from the trees.
“Now when we line up in front of our blocks, and the starter calls us to get into position, we all know how the race will end. We can’t win,” said Selena Soule, a female athlete who is arguing discrimination.
“What they are proposing is legally sanctioned discrimination under this lawsuit,” said McHealen. It’s only discrimination because the state of Connecticut went nuts and demanded men in dresses get special rights.
I don’t know Ms. McHealen, and I’m sure zee is a nice person, but how on Lucifer’s black beach can zee not figure out that forcing biological females to compete against biological males is not discrimination at the federal level?
I think the answer to this is to create a new category of transgender sports, but the Woke will never go for it because it makes just too much sense.
For some time now Americans have been tolerant of the transgender movement where people who are dealing with a mental condition believe they are of the gender opposite of what they were biologically born. I’m not openly insulting transgenders, God love them, but clearly, there is something wrong with the mental state of people who do not accept that they are the gender they were born. Can we say that in 2021 without being intentionally offensive?
One thing people have not been too tolerant of is when a transgender person who was born a male identifies as a female and wants to play sports on a girl’s or women’s team. The reason for this is obvious. Males produce a lot more testosterone and therefore are naturally stronger than most females, and it gives them a competitive edge over biologically born females. I saw a meme recently that showed a bicycle race where the rider out front was driving a motorcycle but he identified as a bicyclist. That’s how people see this and it’s very difficult for most folks to gaslight themselves into thinking there is nothing wrong with a male competing against females.
Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley offered up an idea of a separate category for transgender athletes as a way of fixing President Joe Biden’s executive order forcing women to compete in sports against biological males. Many parents feel it was a kick in the teeth by the Woke administration and they feel that their daughters will suffer athletically, many of whom are working toward athletic scholarships to colleges and their stats will absolutely be harmed by this executive order which was done without any consultations with the American people. It was just shoved down their throats with the attitude of “do this or else face consequences.” That’s not promoting unity at all.
Wiley, who retired from football after playing defensive end for a decade with the NFL spreading over four teams took to social media to make a call for a change in athletics.

The former NFL defensive end included an image of a May 2019 article from World Magazine headlined “Built-in advantage: NCAA hurdler shows how the Equality Act would undermine the very thing it claims to champion.”
The article goes through a timeline for CeCe Telfer, a transgender college athlete who was ranked 200th in 2016, then 390th in 2017 in Division II men’s college athletics, but then transitioned and afterward became a national champion when competing against women, because, well, obviously.
“CeCe (formerly Craig) Telfer of New Hampshire’s Franklin Pierce University won the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 25 in Kingsville, Texas. Telfer’s time of 57.53 seconds was more than a full second faster than that of his nearest competitor. A peek at Franklin Pierce’s track and field website says nothing about Telfer competing as a man for his first three college seasons or about his accomplishments during those years. The press release touting the Ravens’ first NCAA individual champion in any sport says nothing about Telfer being transgender, either.”
On day one of the Biden presidency, one of the multitudes of executive orders Biden signed – there were 40 in the first ten days – was “Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation.” So now it is discrimination to disagree that someone born with a penis is a woman and should be able to compete against biological women. I thought the Democrats were supposed to be the party of science. The science here says if you’re born with a penis you are a male. There is absolutely no science that says otherwise outside of the kooky echo chambers the Woke Supremacy on the Left.
Biden’s executive order, done without consulting Congress at all, says that schools that receive federal funding must allow biological males who wish to identify as females to compete in female sports as females and that there are consequences for schools who do not comply with this clearly unconstitutional executive order that could range from administrative action, which could be anything, and have their federal funding pulled.
“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,” the executive order reads. “Discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation manifests differently for different individuals, and it often overlaps with other forms of prohibited discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of race or disability.”
What about the female children who should be able to learn without the worry of a biological male being in the same restroom, locker room as them? Do they matter? No, apparently they don’t matter to the Woke Supremacy.
An announcement was made this week that the College Football Playoff Semifinal football game that was to be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium will be relocated to AT& T Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Jan. 1, 2021, the Tournament of Roses announced.
Because some jobs are essential, the Rose Parade was canceled and replaced with a Hollywood televised special, so actors and actresses will still put on their show, according to a press release that said:

Republican Governor Greg Abbott posted on Twitter his encouragement.
California’s ban on spectator sports has caused a College Football Playoff (CFP) semifinal game to move from Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena to AT&T Stadium in Texas.
“The game in Dallas will still be played in the mid-afternoon window on New Year’s Day,” said CFP Executive Director Bill Hancock in a statement. “We are pleased that parents and loved ones will now be able to see their students play in the game.”
According to Hancock, the decision to move the game was mutually made by the CFP’s management committee and the Tournament of Roses, citing the “growing number of COVID-19 cases in Southern California.”
As The Associated Press reported, the Rose Bowl unsuccessfully asked the state government twice for restrictions to be waived.
David Eads, Tournament of Roses CEO and executive director, acknowledged the difficult decision that had been made.
“While we remain confident that a game could have been played at the Rose Bowl Stadium, as evident in the other collegiate and professional games taking place in the region, the projection of COVID-19 cases in the region has continued on an upward trend,” he said.

Performers will also include Mickey Guyton, Tori Kelly, Lady A, Rascal Flatts and husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty.
Celebrity guests will include Rita Moreno, Emeril Lagasse, Gary Sinise, Daddy Yankee, Shanola Hampton, Dascha Polanco, Vin Scully, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and Rose Bowl Hall of Fame inductee Matt Leinart.
The Tournament of Roses Association says “The Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration presented by Honda” will air on ABC, NBC, Hallmark Channel, Univision, RFD-TV and KTLA-Los Angeles. The organizers say performances were filmed at locations around the country to limit travel and ensure safety.

Indy 500 fans will remember his speed, his patriotism, his encouraging and uplifting attitude.
Chuck Yeager, the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound, has been selected to drive the pace car during the Indianapolis 500.
The retired Air Force brigadier general will be at the wheel of a bright yellow 1986 Chevrolet Corvette for the May 25 race. It will be the first time since 1978 that the race will have a street-legal automobile as its pace car.
The selection of Yeager was announced Thursday by Chevrolet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which hosts the annual race by Indy-cars.
Officials said Yeager, a consulting test pilot for the Northrop Corp. since 1980 and a spokesman for the AC-Delco Division of General Motors since 1982, will be making several trips to Indianapolis in May to prepare for his race-day activities.
Yeager will be in Indianapolis Monday when Chevrolet officials present a Corvette pace car to the Speedway for display in its automotive Hall of Fame Museum.
On Oct. 14, 1947, Yeager became the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound and on Dec. 12, 1953, he became the first man to fly more than twice the speed of sound.
The roadster that will be on display is one of the first of the new soft- top Corvettes off the line at the General Motors plant in Bowling Green, Ky., the automaker announced.
When Yeager takes the track for the 70th Indianapolis 500, it will mark the seventh time that a Chevrolet has been the pace car and the second time for a Corvette.

Just when you think the vindictiveness and viciousness of the American left have gone as far as it will go with attacking people in the streets for wearing MAGA hats and with pushing children around at rallies, a story comes out that proves the mindset of the American left has just not devolved far enough to hit rock bottom yet.
A man who makes millions of dollars to play ball has gone out of his way to insult and degrade his own employer, threatening to get “stompy foot” and walk off the team because the owner supports President Donald J. Trump.
The New York Post covered the story and reported:
“The Houston Rockets are having one of the more tumultuous offseasons in the NBA. Both of their superstars, Russell Westbrook and James Harden, have already requested trades. One NBA insider said he believes it has to do less with basketball and more with owner Tilman Fertitta’s political views.
Longtime NBA reporter Ric Bucher went on “The Odd Couple” podcast with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker and shared an interesting tidbit about the discord in Houston. According to Bucher, there is a “revolt” going on, and it’s directly related to Fertitta supporting President Trump.”
In a podcast a reporter said recently:
“But what I heard is — and we know how much politics and political position had to do with the boycott and protests during the (NBA) bubble — I’m hearing that Tilman Fertitta’s strong Republican support and donations is one of the things that is contributing to this dissatisfaction, and those two [Westbrook and Harden] are not the only ones to want out of Houston. Lesser players are of the same mind. There is a revolt here because they look at Fertitta as a guy who supports the current president.”
Because to the left no one is allowed to support the wildly popular President of the United States. Let’s say that Math is not a strong suit with people on the left.
Basketball viewership has dropped, meaning less cash is being spent. Is that difficult for ball players to figure out?

The 2015 NBA Finals between The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers achieved the highest TV ratings in recent years. The Finals in that year had an average TV rating on 11.6, in comparison to the rating of 4.0 achieved by the 2020 Finals.”
People who play sports for a living are not the brightest bunch of people in the country, having sided with the minority of Americans in a Communist-style of cancel culture, attempting to force their fans to adopt their political ideology with a long list of political theater disasters, driving the viewership of these games down tremendously.
Unless they are getting paid to destroy sports, the very industry that took people with a shortlist of skills and wisdom and made them extremely wealthy and powerful for playing a children’s game while getting treated like heroes.
Imagine being so conceited that you want to cancel your own employer, who is paying you very well to bounce a ball around, because your boss supported someone that many hundreds of millions of people supported all over the world.
That is what we are faced with in American culture currently. The childish temper tantrums and backward thinking of lazy celebrities who are completely out of touch with the American people has reached peak nonsense.
Certainly, the Basketball team owners can find some other players to fund, ones who do not carry with them an entitlement to annoy and tick off Americans in their own living rooms.
Then again, drive down to the local Community Center and sure enough, you will find a group of kids playing ball who will be a lot more entertaining than what the NBA is giving us, it might be time to cancel the entitled brats in the NBA.

In a video clip that went viral because it was so incredible that even people who don’t like golf, had to stop in awe, and watch as a ball travels over water to complete a hole in one for Spanish Golfer Jon Rahm, and it all happened on his Birthday at the 2020 Masters Tournament.
ESPN reported: “Jon Rahm, on his 26th birthday, produced potentially one of the all-time best golf shots during a practice round on Tuesday ahead of the 2020 Masters Spanish golfer skipped the ball across the pond on hole No. 16, as is a tradition in the practice rounds in the lead-up to the iconic major in Augusta, Georgia.
But after taking a favorable bounce when the ball made land on the other side, it weaved all the way across the lush Augusta green and finally into the hole for a remarkable hole-in-one.
Rahm’s extraordinary feat unsurprisingly sent fans on Twitter into meltdown, with words such as “ludicrous” and “ridiculous” being used to describe it.
Some even called it “maybe the greatest golf shot you’ll ever see.”Sports reporter Tyler Greever called it “one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen in sports.”
And while Rahm’s shot would’ve likely sent patrons on the course into delirium, it was met with just the cheers of his fellow golfers and their caddies as spectators are not permitted at the Masters in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this political climate, everything has become political, even sports. It seems the days of meeting up with friends and watching a sports game are over. When the 2019/2020 basketball season resumed after a COVID 19 break, the franchise allowed politics to be a huge part of playoffs. The playoff courts have Black Lives Matter down each side of the court and players can have certain sayings on their jerseys like “I can’t breathe”, “Peace”, and “Power to the People”.
It’s unfortunate the franchise allowed politics to creep in because it has even caused conflict on the court between players. This happened last week.
“LA Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell and Dallas Mavericks Slovenian star Luka Doncic got into a scuffle last night that ended with Harrell calling Doncic a ‘b***h a*s white boy,’” Outkick columnist Gary Sheffield Jr. wrote. “The solution here is simple, even if many won’t like it: the NBA has to suspend Montrezl Harrell and send a message that race-based derogatory comments like his on the basketball court won’t be tolerated. The NBA has already set this precedent with gay slurs on the court, why not with racial-based insults as well?”
“Montrezl Harrell’s comments have already spawned a million ‘If the races were reversed’ conversations on social media and there is no doubt that if Luka had referred to Montrezl Harrell as a ‘b**** a** black boy,’ that the social media condemnation would have rained down from the heavens on Luka,” Sheffield added. “In fact, Luka would probably be suspended for the remainder of the season. He would be crushed, a social pariah in all of sports.”
Days later Kings sports announcer was dubbed racist when he tweeted, “All Lives Matter”. He ended up resigning from his position while little happened to Harrell for his actual racist comment.
Thursday morning they considered boycotting the rest of the season after the Jacob Blake shooting. When the teams had a meeting the Lakers and the Clippers seemed to be the only two teams wanting to boycott. LeBron James even stormed out of the meeting while the two teams followed him. LeBron James said in the meeting he wants the team owners to be more involved and take action.
But here’s the deal. The basketball franchise is not supposed to be about politics. Basketball players don’t get paid to be politicians or activists. If they chose to do that it should be in their own time. Not at the expense of the NBA franchise.
So far this is the ending result of the meeting today.
“NBA playoff games for today will not be played as scheduled. We are hopeful to resume games either Friday or Saturday. There is a video conference call meeting scheduled later this afternoon between a group of NBA players and team governors representing the 13 teams in Orlando, along with representatives from the National Basketball Players Association and the league office and NBA Labor Relations Committee Chairman Michael Jordan, to discuss next steps.”
