Gov Glen Abbott of Texas knows how to get action. Joe Biden has been dropping off large quantities of illegal aliens into small cities and towns in Texas, leaving them to figure out how to house and feed them.
Abbott decided two can play that game and he announced that Texas would start dropping these same illegals onto the Capitol steps in Washington D.C. Lo and behold, Biden, quit dropping off the illegals in Texas.
The idea was to make up to 900 charter buses available to take illegal aliens who volunteered from Texas to the nation’s capital.
There would have been plenty of volunteers too because there are a lot more freebies in Washington than there are in Texas. The buses will be running from the Southern section of Texas, where the problem is most pronounced. Look for Arizona to follow suit in the near future. Nothing succeeds like success.
The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) has already dispatched multiple buses to areas where community leaders expressed concerns about the drop-offs by the Biden administration. The Biden administration really can’t do much about the buses since the riders have to volunteer for the trip, so it is not an enforcement action.
TDEM spokesman Seth Christensen said that they have enough resources to load and send as many buses as is deemed necessary. Biden and the Democrats love illegal aliens as long as they don’t have to interact with them.
“To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigration who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington, D.C.,” Governor Abbott said during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon in Weslaco, Texas. The governor said the first drop-off location will be the U.S. Capitol steps in the nation’s capital. He added that the bus rides are completely voluntary from the migrants’ perspective.
“We are taking them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” the governor added. The governor signed the letter to TDEM Chief Nim Kid ordering the action.
“Texans have a backbone and the will to secure our border,” Abbott stated. “Two things that Joe Biden does not have.”
