Violence begets violence and if you make excuses for violence, you can expect it to grow and it certainly has in Chicago under the alleged leadership of Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Week after week the number of people shot and people who are killed continues to rise and if their aim starts getting better more will die.
President Trump has offered the help of the federal government but liberals are willing to put up with casualties as long as they are not subject to it themselves. But, let’s face it, not everyone living in Chicago can send 100 cops to guard their home. How much longer can the carnage continue before the people rise up? In Chicago? Forever.
An updated count of 66 people shot has been reported but the 5 dead is still the number attributed to last week’s violence. The death toll increases every week along with the number of those who are wounded. But if you won’t stop rioters, how can you stop any mother criminals? You reap what you sow.
And when will Democratic voters wake up and realize that the riots are only happening in Democratic cities?
They will also see that unarmed men are being shot in Democratic cities, not in Republican cities.
According to statistics released Saturday by the Chicago Police Department, through the first seven months of 2020, there have been 440 homicides and 2,240 people shot in Chicago this year.
That represents an increase of 760 more shootings and 150 deaths more than the first 7 months of 2019.
people and businesses have been fleeing from New York City, Portland and Seattle and you can look for it to continue to spread as the Democrats are allowing the riots in the hopes of political gain. Sooner or later the facts will catch up with them.
