Twitter employees are having a meltdown over the new owner, Elon Musk. As liberals always do, they accused him of homophobia and transphobia. But, what they are really angry about is that they can no longer silence voices from the right. Opposing views from right threaten the attempt by leftists to set the narrative and keep the indoctrination of the American people intact. They see that fading away and fear that people will hear the truth.
In an “impromptu” all-hands meeting on Friday, Twitter employees voiced their anger and frustration over Musk’s purchase of the platform that they can no longer control. They claim they are worried that Musk will fire gay and trans employees because they claim that he hates them.
But, there is a problem with their accusations. Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), rate employers and how inclusive they are in their DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. They gave Elon Musk a 100% rating and you can’t get any better than that. -Of course that doesn’t register with people suffering from CDS> (Constitution Derangement Syndrome)
Twitter CEO told the employees:
“Different organizations have different cultures, but they’ve excelled. It will be different here than what it is today, but for the people who are here, it will be worth it to be here.”
That may not be entirely true, because Musk has allegedly told the bank that he plans to slash the salaries of the executives and to quit paying the board altogether. He was able to convince the banks that he would be able to generate enough income from Twitter to service the loans. It is quite likely that he will cut the number of employees. The censors will no longer be needed. He can start there.
An employee reportedly asked:
“What should we tell the LGTBQ community at recruiting conferences we’re lined up to attend when they ask us why they should come work at Twitter when we just sold ourselves to an open homophobe and transphobe?”
Dalana Brand – Twitter’s chief people and diversity officer – allegedly replied:
“I cannot speak to Elon’s personal feelings on these things. I can’t speak to what he’s done in his other companies, in terms of people’s experiences. Perhaps in the future we’ll be able to have a conversation. That may be telling.”
“What I can tell you is that, while I am here, Twitter will continue to prioritize DEI. We’ll continue to prioritize our people, we’ll continue to fight for inclusion and diversity for all of our teams. Full stop. I can’t speak to Elon and what Elon will do in the future.”
