An Indiana School District Offers Black Lives Matter Masks as a fundraiser for grades K-12

In Indianapolis, a school district is selling face masks to raise funds for the district’s Thanksgiving Food Drive and the year-round non-perishable food pantry.

Most of the masks seem to represent different schools in the district. But if you take a closer look at the third row down you see a Black Lives Matter mask. There are no other political statements given as an example.

Let’s keep in mind what BLM represents.

  • Black Lives Matter is only an advocate for black lives if the life is taken by a police officer. Most of their donations go to the Democratic party and their candidates. Zero dollars are provided to school-age programs. Zero dollars to go improving “black lives” in their communities. It is a group with a divisive political agenda.
  • BLM is a huge advocate for LGBT rights. In fact, two of its founders are lesbians. Their website says, “We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
  • They are against the traditional or “nuclear” family. They say, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.” In other words, you create your family to be whatever you want it to be regardless of how God has structured it through His word.

These are values that the district is promoting with this mask. Imagine elementary kids promoting these. It is another way they indoctrinate our children.

INDIANAPOLIS — A local school district has seen an increase in orders for masks they are selling since everyone in Marion County will be required to wear a mask in public starting July 9.

When schools closed down and switched to e-learning in March, sponsors for the Ben Davis High School Senior Class Officers started a fundraiser to sell BDHS and Wayne Township masks.

They’ve since been getting requests for additional colors and personalized logos for all schools in the district and have sold hundreds of the masks.

The money raised from selling the masks will help the district’s Thanksgiving Drive and food pantry.

Melissa Edwards, one of the sponsors, said she knows how important it is to help others because she’s had to rely on help and support from the community during a tough time in her life.

“So it’s very close to my heart. It’s almost like Christmas to me,” Edwards said. “When we are selling these masks and raising this money, every time we get a sale I know it’s one more family we can help.”

You are selling masks promoting and an organization that one of its founding principles is to destroy the nuclear family to raise money for a food pantry and Thanksgiving for families. This is an oxymoron if I’ve ever saw one.
