The false information that has been spewed about US Senate candidate Kathy Barnette during her rapid rise in Pennsylvania’s closely watched Senate race is at a fever pitch. And it’s mostly by other Republicans who do not want to see this candidate victorious. Though not endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who did endorse the wrong candidate, Dr. Oz, the former president did say that if she didn’t win this primary battle, Barnette has a bright career in politics ahead of her. That’s as good as an endorsement, if you ask me.
Once Barnette started to gain traction in the race, questions started being asked about Barnette’s past that in my opinion are questions geared to harm the candidate by operatives of her opponents. I suppose it’s fair. Politics is a very dirty business.
In the past, Barnette allegedly said that she had worked as an adjunct professor and the little diligence marines have been working furiously to find out if it’s true.
One thing I found despicable was how opposition research came out against Barnette claiming she supports Black Lives Matter and the Defund the Police movements. Opposition research is fair game, but what’s being said about her goes beyond opposition research and falls under lies and distortions. This disinformation was presented by carefully editing some videos of Barnette actually trashing both movements. Below, you will see a video Barnette made during the middle of the 2020 Summer of Love when Black Lives Matter was tearing the country apart. Barnette made the video, trashing the radical Marxist movement for what they are, a bunch of radical thugs.
Here’s a campaign video Barnette made that caught my attention and got me to look into her background. Everything I found turned me onto her campaign, and I really like her as a candidate for the US Senate.
UncoverDC revealed on Friday that it spoke to Director of Marketing and Communications at Judson University, Mary Dulabaum, who confirmed that Barnette was an adjunct professor “in high standing” at the University. This blows away the fake news that she was not an adjunct professor that has been trending on Twitter and other platforms.
Barnette ran for the Pennsylvania 4th Congressional District seat in the 2020 election and, unfortunately, lost to the Democrat incumbent Madeleine Dean. During that election cycle, the country was in the throes of a Marxist revolution stoked by the death of George Floyd. Barnette made a Facebook live video where she spoke from the heart over how she felt about the radical Marxist movement taking over our country. Recently, to attack her, the video was edited to be taken out of context on Twitter where her opposition threw in hashtags like #BLM and #DefundThePolice when they shared the video to falsely make it appear like Barnette supports both of those movements. Please note that in the video she says more than once that “Defunding the police is stupid, people,” and yet her opposition forces are trying to make it seem like Barnette supports the idea. She also said that “Black Lives Matter, net global net incorporated does not care about my black life,” and again, the opposition forces are claiming she supports BLM. It’s all lies.
Here’s the full video. You watch so that you can decide.
Notice that Barnette also talked about how changing the names of football teams and painting graffiti and murals on walls and on the street doesn’t improve her black life. Her point at the time was that BLM was a lie. It was a Marxist movement that used race to claim that the country needed a revolution of violence to make black lives better and it was all a scam because none of what the group did helped any black lives of black people whose neighborhoods were affected by the violence.
Here’s a video Barnette made on Thursday, just three days ago where she once again condemns Black Lives Matter as a Marxist group that divides our nation.
The primary election is in two days, this Tuesday, and Barnette’s sudden surge in the polls puts her at neck and neck with David McCormick and Dr. Oz. If she loses the primary, I will vote for McCormick in the general but not for Oz. Dr. Oz has too many character flaws that I feel would make him another Mitt Romney and who thinks we need another Romney in the Republican Party? But I do hope Barnette wins this thing, because I believe she will be an excellent senator to represent our state.
Here’s another great message that resonates with voters.
On Thursday, former President Trump made a statement about Barnette in which he revealed a couple of things.
Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats.
She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party—and I will be behind her all the way.
Dr. Oz is the only one who will be able to easily defeat the Crazed, Lunatic Democrat in Pennsylvania. A vote for anyone else in the Primary is a vote against Victory in the Fall!
It sounds to me like Trump has heard the lies that are being told about Barnette, and that he endorsed Oz because he thinks his star power makes him the only candidate in the race who can defeat the radical Democrat who the winner of this primary will face. I for one have more faith in my fellow Pennsylvania voters.
Barnette responded to Trump’s prepared statement Thursday night during an appearance on “The Water Cooler with David Brody.” During her appearance she said “It sounds like the president knows what’s going to happen on next Tuesday.” She also questioned the credentials of the other two top tier candidates, David McCormick who was born in PA but then went on to be a hedge fund CEO in Connecticut who has done business with China, only to move back to PA to run for office, and Dr. Oz is a Hollywood liberal.
“We now have the opportunity where the people are making their voices heard on what kind of leadership they want—and they don’t want to be spoon-fed two globalists, as many influencers within the Republican Party are trying to sell us, they want a real conservative.”
Though Oz has spent $15 million and McCormick spent $15.9 million, Kathy Barnette spent just $1.7 million and her message to the people of Pennsylvania has her pretty much in a dead heat with the other two who have spent a vast amount of their campaign money on attacking each other.
In an interview this past Monday, Barnette said, “Everyone knows Oz is running for this race. Everyone knows McCormick is running in this race, and they’re holding their nose,” adding “When they break, the undecideds, they’re gonna break in my direction. There’s nothing (Oz and McCormick) can possibly say to these people that they haven’t already said, because they’ve spent such an insane amount of money.”
Barnette believes the undecideds will go for her, because she appears to be one of them. I think Barnette is more America First than the other two combined.
“I think what (supporters) find in me is a sense of authenticity,” Barnette told The Inquirer. “They see me as one of them. And if our leadership is listening, then they would pay attention to that.”
She believes she has the better message.
“I knew I would not be able to compete dollar for dollar with these people, but I believe I have a better message. And all I’ve done is just walk outside of my home to deliver that message.”
Vince Galko, a Pennsylvania Republican strategist, said of Barnette capitalizing on her top opponents not being able to communicate with the voters the way she can, “Those two guys never caught on with anyone, and she filled that void.”
