On Thursday, the Texas Politically Correct Death Squad received another devastating setback when the US Supreme Court rejected their request for a judge to accelerate their legal challenge to the state’s six-week abortion ban.
No majority opinion was written. However, the six conservative, including the two sellouts to the Left, Justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh, voted together while the three leftist Justices, Breyer, Kagan, and Sotomayor dissented because obviously.
“This case is a disaster for the rule of law and a grave disservice to women in Texas, who have a right to control their own bodies,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote. This is the same Justice who very recently made some of the dumbest, most misinformed statements about COVID in favor of Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate that took away EVERYONE’s right to control their own body.
Sotomayor said that the Texas law now violates 50 years of Supreme Court precedents by creating a “private bounty-hunter scheme.”
“It has been over four months since Texas Senate Bill 8 took effect,” she wrote. “The law immediately devastated access to abortion care in Texas through a complicated private bounty-hunter scheme that violates nearly 50 years of this court’s precedents.”
Can someone check that stat? It is Sotomayor saying it, after all, and the only time she was inside the Mensa Club building was to use the bathroom.
“Today, for the fourth time, this court declines to protect pregnant Texans from egregious violations of their constitutional rights,” she added.
First off, Roe v Wade is not a Constitutional right. It was a SCOTUS ruling by 9 men. According to the US Constitution, courts may not create laws. They don’t have the power to do so. And what would make abortion a constitutional right? Where do they get that from? I’ve read the Constitution, and unlike guns, it’s not in there. You can read the Constitution, hold it up to the light, upside down, and pour lemon juice on it, and you still won’t find abortion in there. Yet the Left calls it a Constitutional right.
The Politically Correct Death Squad denounced the ruling on Thursday, saying that the women of Texas have been stripped of their Constitutional rights.
“Once again the Supreme Court has betrayed the people of Texas, who have been callously stripped of their constitutional right to abortion for more than four months now,” Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson said in a press release.
What Constitutional right?
“By enabling the state’s obvious ploy to delay any resolution to this case, this Court is complicit in the widespread harm to Texans who remain unable to make meaningful decisions about their own bodies,” she continued.
If they want to kill their babies, I think they should have made a meaningful decision about their bodies that would have precluded the need to kill their babies.
Prior to this nonsense, I always thought that Roe vs Wade was the biggest decision George Washington had to make when crossing the Delaware River.
