Fox News host Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday grilled White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki concerning the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis, asking her about allegations that the administration is blocking media from being allowed to see inside the facilities that are holding illegal migrants and the conditions of the detention facilities in which they are being held.
Reporters are accusing the Biden administration of blocking media access so that they can’t report on the border crisis, which the Biden administration says is anything but a crisis. One day it’s a challenge and the next a circumstance, but never a crisis. Award-winning photojournalist John Moore and a Getty Images Special Correspondent said he had to photograph the border crisis from the Mexican side of the US-Mexico border.
“I have photographed CBP under Bush, Obama and Trump but now – zero access is granted to media. These long lens images taken from the Mexican side,” Moore said earlier this month. ” Until now, US photojournalists haven’t needed to stand in another country to photograph what’s happening — in the United States.”
The Biden administration created an unofficial gag order on Customer and Border Protection (CBP) agents actively limiting what kinds of information they shared with journalists and keeping media people away from migrant facilities according to NBC News. What does the Biden administration have to hide? This is such bullschtein, and we are expected to not complain about it. Alejandro Mayorkas, the disastrous Homeland Security Secretary, denied such an order exists. What he means is there is nothing written on paper that orders the CBP agents to withhold information from journalists, but they were given the order, regardless. Don’t underestimate Democrats, they’re crafty.
Psaki lied during the interview with Wallace who told her that the Biden administration is being “less transparent than the Trump administration.” Anyone with a three-digit IQ knows that the Trump administration was the most transparent in our lifetime. President Trump made himself readily available to the press all the time. In his first year in office, he didn’t do a lot of formal press conferences, but he answered reporters’ questions as often as possible. He gave the press a lot of access to himself and his administration.
The segment started with Wallace pointing out that the only way Americans know what’s going on at the migrant detention centers is because members of Congress have toured some facilities and have released pictures of intentional centers. You just know they weren’t allowed to see the worst or the worst.
“These kids are living in these conditions now. They’re not living in these conditions some indeterminate time from now when the president says everything will be fixed,” Wallace said. “So why not allow reporters and camera crews in on a pool basis safely to take pictures and show the American people what’s happening in those Border Patrol facilities right now?”
Psaki responded to Wallace by lying that Biden, Mayorkas, and the administration are “absolutely committed” to providing media access. That’s just not true. The administration is blocking media access apparently because they don’t want the country to see what’s really going on in these migrant facilities until such time as they finally get a handle on it and then they will open up access to the media while claiming there was never anything wrong going on at all. That’s how stupid this administration thinks we are.
“When?” Wallace fired back.
Psaki told Wallace that the Biden administration had given Fox News access to a facility last week, adding the Biden administration is not blocking media from the facilities, but rather is limiting access because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ah, yes, the COVID excuse, good for most cover-ups. Psaki is being childish. Under previous administrations, media outlets were allowed to cover most facilities with minor temporary exceptions for conditions at the moment. But the press secretary wants you to believe that because the administration allowed Fox into one “approved” facility that it’s not blocking media access to migrant facilities.
Wallace hit back, citing that Fox News in fact wasn’t given access to a migrant detention facility, but to a different facility that was being run by the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Just to clarify, Jen, you allowed a camera crew in to see the HHS facilities. What we’re talking about here are the Border Patrol facilities, the detention cells,” Wallace said while Psaki tried to interrupt. “There is a law, let me just finish, that they are not allowed to be there for more than 72 hours, many of them are there for 10 days.”
“At this point, in terms of allowing access to Border Patrol facilities for reporters, you are being less transparent than the Trump administration,” Wallace added.
Biden was asked last week by a reporter about when journalists will be allowed access to cover migrant conditions and Bide replied with, “I don’t know.”
We know Joe Biden is known for plagiarism, which is using someone else’s work and actively or passively claiming it to be your own. Biden plagiarized in school and later as a politician said it was not malevolent. As if that makes it okay. He also plagiarized a speech made by a British politician and fortunately for him said a British politician is a bonehead who said “Joe’s an honest guy,” and followed up with “If Trump had done it, I would know that he was lying.” Again, the Biden camp said it was unintentional or Joe forgot to give credit to the Brit, even though no one has ever done so in how Biden plagiarized his words. Biden made Neil Kinnock’s words personal to his own life, and no one would give credit in a scenario like that, because doing so would have invalidated Biden’s lies.
First, Joe Biden is not an honest guy by any stretch of the imagination, and second, had Trump “accidentally” plagiarized someone’s speech, he would have acknowledged it and apologized profusely. How could the moronic British politician have known how Trump would have reacted when Trump never plagiarized anyone?
Dr. Moncef Slaoui, who was a chief scientific adviser to Trump’s Operation Warp Speed panel, has said that 90 percent of President Joe Biden’s vaccine rollout plan is the same plan as the previous administration’s to vaccinating US citizens against coronavirus. Biden is apparently taking credit for someone else’s work yet again.
During an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” host Margaret Brenna brought up allegations made by Biden, who said the Trump administration didn’t secure enough vaccine doses when he took office. In reality, Trump had ordered about 800 million doses enough to vaccinate about 450 million people given that some would require double doses. And remember, we only have about 328 million people.
“Just over four weeks ago, America had no real plan to vaccinate most of the country. My predecessor — as my mother would say, ‘God love him’ — failed to order enough vaccines, failed to mobilize the effort to administer the shots, failed to set up vaccine centers,” Biden said on Feb. 21. “That changed the moment we took office.”
Slaoui responded to Biden’s assertions, “I think that’s a very negative description of the reality. I do think that we had plans, and in fact, 90% of what’s happening now is the plan that we had.
“Of course the first thing was to accelerate the development of the vaccine,” Slaoui said. “We contracted specifically 100 million doses of vaccine, but also built into the contract options to acquire more vaccines once we knew they are effective. And the plan was to order more vaccines when- when we knew they are more effective. So I think what’s happening is right. But I think what’s happening is, frankly, what was the plan. Substantially what was the plan.”
Like any other manufacturing operation as you work through the models being used to manufacture something, over time you work out the kinks in the system and improve the efficiency of the effort. This happens with any manufacturing including building cars, furniture, and yes, vaccines.
Slaoui noted that the Trump administration didn’t plan on using sports arenas as vaccination sites and hadn’t discussed using the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of their vaccine distribution strategy. Well, whoopty flipping Ding! The Biden people came up with someone unique, but that doesn’t give the Biden administration license to lie about the previous administration’s achievements. How petty do Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have to be to refuse to give Donald Trump and his administration any credit for their efforts to bring three and very soon four coronavirus vaccinations to market in under a year?
Slaoui did point out however that Operation Warp Speed laid out the vital groundwork to use health care centers and pharmacies, which he said is where “the bulk of vaccine distribution is happening.” In other words, by using a capitalist system already in place at places like CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens pharmacies that already do vaccinations and flu shots, etc., there was no need to push for large arenas to do mass vaccinations which is what communist politician systems would probably come up with.
Slaoui mentioned the Trump administration had an original plan of having “most of adult Americans over the age of 18 that want to be vaccinated will have been vaccinated” by June.
In December, which correct me if I’m wrong came before the Biden administration became a thing, Slaoui told the Washington Post, “Hopefully by the middle of the year, I hope most Americans will have been immunized, which means the level of hesitancy that exists currently will have been decreased because people will have learned more information … about the vaccine.” He added that the Trump administration “should have this pandemic under control in the second half of 2021.”
Another lie to buy new ministration went around with was that during the transition the trump people were not cooperating with the Biden transition team. Vice President Kamala Harris lied when she told a reporter that the Biden administration had to start from scratch because the Trump administration left them empty-handed, and if we had an honest news media, the reporters would have countered by asking then how were there over 30 million Americans vaccinated by the day Joe Biden was inaugurated. The Trump administration was already underway to reach Biden’s goal of 100 million Americans vaccinated in his first 100 days. The Biden administration has since squandered that hard work done by the previous administration.
Slaoui, who previously ran the GlaxoSmithKline’s vaccine division, acknowledged that the Trump administration was in negotiations with Merck to use their facilities for “pandemic purposes.”
Brennan never acknowledged the achievements Slaoui mentioned, but instead asked if there were any flaws in Operation Warp Speed.
“I think there were two areas for me that are key lessons to learn in terms of how things should have been done differently,” he replied. “One is on the communication, and I think we have failed to communicate the fact that vaccine doses availability is going to be, you know, slow over time because- because we went so fast. There is no stock of vaccine. It was impossible to have enough vaccine doses quickly enough compared to the expectations. So we were unable, as we communicated in the month of November and December and January, to- to manage the expectation.”
“And I think the second thing is indeed, in the actual immunization, the approach taken was a philosophical approach that was frankly part of what the previous administration philosophy is, which is the federal government is going to provide vaccine,” he continued. “The states should be accountable for actually immunizing. And that’s- that’s the principle on which we have worked. Clearly, there was a need for the states to actually learn, which they did in reality. And that’s how improvements are happening now and also for the central government to participate in that learning process and accelerate it.”
Slaoui said the politicization of the coronavirus pandemic and the COVID-19 vaccine rollout has been a “big mistake” by some.
“I do believe that it’s a mistake to politicize a health issue. It’s a big mistake,” Slaoui said. “Many people probably have died or suffered because the whole situation became so political that, you know, emotions overtook rationality.”
“I’m very concerned, very concerned that for political motivation, people decide to actually place themselves and the people around them in harms’ way by refusing to be vaccinated,” he added. “I think- I think we need to do every effort we can to explain to people that vaccines have nothing to do with politics. These vaccines are safe. They are highly effective. They’re going to help them protect themselves and protect the people around them from the spread of this virus and critically from the potential appearance of new variants.”
Decorated three General Mike Flynn joined Lou Dobbs for his first interview, on Wednesday, to talk about a variety of issues including the 2020 Presidential election , and four years of political persecution due to the actions of former President Barack Obama.
“You inspire deep fear in the Deep State and the Obama administrations,” Dobbs said to Flynn.
Here is partial transcript of the interview:
“Something is clear that the prosecution of Genera Flynn is a reminder of something is clear that the outgoing team worked to under the the peaceful transfer of power and attacked the incoming team, including Flynn.
Flynn called in and said Dobbs had been relentless in the pursuit of truth, my faith of God is that he is an amazing strength and light. Since we were 13 years old, I have long time friends and the outreach by Americans gives me the relsilane to fight truth this and I appreciate the that the President gave me a pardon of innocence, because that is what it is. We prayed over it and came to the conclusion that taking the pardon would be the right thing to do because the judicial system would not work properly and thank you to President trump for coming through. This was a political prosecution of the higher order and no American should have to go through it.
At the end of the day people want me to say if I am upset with the white house of Trump, this was a set up and with the former administration, it was a set up by them, everyone knows that. It has come out great warrior fighting spirit of Sidney powell. The country should never be usurped by law enforcement ever again, the country has been damaged by this [corrupt actions] and we are feeling the pain in this election.
They did not want me standing next to Donald Trump in the early days of his administration’s, I know how things work in the Nations Security systems, the transition Dear Lear Kim Jun un, and Mike Flynn it is laughable but also serious, and I would ask him if I ever see him: Why? He said I was public enemy one and more will come out about that, it is a part of history and part of my story.
I have a great network around the country of friends who are around the country and we are trying to figure out what happened, whe ave a crisis of confidence and people gave up their lives for one person one vote, nin 200 we are worried with country and now we have problems in hundreds of counties. In 6-8 states, I am watching the hearings, and remember that igeriosu corrupt and criminal behavior, Americans are giving great testimony at these hearings with Giuliani. The American public has close to zero confidence, they have lost fant in the Justice system now, and we can not have that. People are witness are in ICU, house broken into, car broken into and threats. Had to move and change her phone number, and these people are being brave. People we know reported things to the FBI and ver heard back from them.
Elections should not be decided in the courts. At the end of the day, they need to be decided by the people. The Governors of the states are going to have to have the guts to say they will have a fair election process of they are not. We are a Constitutional Republic.”
The Trump administration continues to pursue the Big Tech corporations even weeks before the 2020 Presidential election, which could potentially reverse everything with Democrat Joe Biden being much more open to the control and dominance of Teach leaders over the American people.
The announcement is expected Tuesday that The US Department of Justice will file anti-trust violations against Google.
The announcement came Tuesday that the long awaited measures against Google for overusing their reach, was going to be addressed by the US Department of Justice, sending shock waves thru the business community and into the community of social media users.

GOOGLE ACCUSED BY U.S. OF ABUSING MARKET POWER IN LANDMARK CASE
US GOOGLE ANTITRUST CASE JOINED BY ELEVEN STATES
More official details are expected during a briefing set for Tuesday morning, but many of the key details have already appeared in press reports.
Republican Sen Josh Hawley accused Google of keeping power through “illegal means” and called the lawsuit “the most important antitrust case in a generation.” Reuters also note that the federal lawsuit marks a rare moment of comity between the Trump Administration and progressive Democrats like Sen Elizabeth Warren, who has called for “swift, aggressive action.”
Sen Ted Cruz took to CNBC’s Squawk Box earlier to trash Google and its Big Tech peers for abusing their market position and censoring conservative voices.”
Business Insider showed the movement:
Fox News Business reported,”The Department of Justice is expected to announce it is filing a major antitrust lawsuit against Google, accusing the company of a host of anti-competitive practices.”
CNBC Business reacted saying,”Cramer: DOJ’s expected lawsuit against Google takes Alphabet stock from ‘buy’ to ‘strong buy”
The New York Times reacted and said,” A victory for the government could remake one of America’s most recognizable companies and the internet economy that it has helped define.”
According to CNN Business, “The Trump administration will sue Google on Tuesday in what is the largest antitrust case against a tech company in more than two decades. In its complaint, the Justice Department is expected to make sweeping allegations that Google (GOOG) has stifled competition to maintain its powerful position in the marketplace for online search, according to two people familiar with the matter.
Also joining the US government’s complaint will be 11 states including Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina and Texas, according to public court records.”
Market Watch reported, “The Justice Department is expected to formally sue Alphabet Inc.’s Google for antitrust violations Tuesday, the first major action against Big Tech for its staggering market power and values. Sources told MarketWatch that charges were expected this week.”
Politico said, “Eleven Republican attorneys general — representing Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina and Texas — signed on to the complaint.”
Reaction from Senator Josh Hawley, who posted on Twitter: “NEW — Sen. Hawley on the @TheJusticeDept announcement of a lawsuit against @Google: “Today’s lawsuit is the most important antitrust case in a generation…” But this is just a first step. Hawley will continue to fight for legislative solutions to end the Big Tech tyranny.”

The US Supreme Court on Friday agreed to listen to oral arguments over President Donald Trump’s effort to exclude illegal immigrants from the population totals used to allocate congressional districts to states.
The court, likely to soon have a 5-4 conservative majority if the Republican-controlled Senate confirms Trump nominee Amy Coney Barrett, will hear the case on November 30. Remember, Chief Justice Roberts has nested in with the liberals on the Court.
The challengers to Trump’s directive made back in July, including states led by New York, cities, counties, and immigrant rights groups, said it could leave several million people uncounted and likely cause California, Texas, and New Jersey to lose seats in the US House of Representatives. Well, boo hoo, they are not supposed to be here. Why are immigrant rights groups involved in this at all? We know that the overwhelming majority of their concerns are for illegal aliens, which are always conflated with legal immigrants. Legal immigrants are wonderful. Illegal aliens are criminals and should be deported.
Trump “seeks to reallocate political power among the states and to weaken the political influence of states with larger populations of undocumented immigrants,” the challengers stated in their court filing.
How come no one ever points out the elephant in the room, no pun intended? Democrat-run states want illegal aliens counted, because the amount of people listed as living in their states, get more money for the numbers. Grants from the federal government are based on the population number, and those grants are supposed to be used for American citizens. What the Democrats want is to increase their numbers, so that the amount of funding in grants increases, but they are doing it at the expense of illegal aliens/ It’s not only morally wrong, but it could be considered fraud.
They alleged the policy could additionally deter people from participating in the census and argue that it violates both the Constitution and the Census Act, a federal law that outlines how the census is conducted. Liberals love to use the Constitution when it serves their purposes. Otherwise, they hate it.
Don’t forget that a three-judge panel ruled against the administration back in September.
The US Constitution ensures that the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives be based on the “whole number of persons in each state.” The population number is derived from the census, which takes place every 10 years. Liberals argue that the Constitution does not specifically say “citizens,” knowing full well that our Founding Fathers were not working to include illegal aliens, who break our immigration laws by the very nature of being here. Why would anyone believe the Founders wrote a governmental system of law designed from the very beginning to allow people to break the same laws? It makes zero sense.
By law, the president sends a report to Congress in January with the population of every state and their entitled number of representatives. A ruling on the administration’s case could come out prior to when the report is due.
Once states are allocated the districts, the states themselves draw the districts, which shall be used first in the 2022 congressional election.
The census itself doesn’t collect data on citizenship or immigration status, though I believe it should. We should know the number of illegal aliens here, so that the grant blocks can be distributed accordingly. The American taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for people who are breaking the law by being here. It’s insanity.
The Supreme Court on October 14 allowed the Trump administration to wind down population counting for the census early in a blow to civil rights advocates who stated it may lead to an undercount of racial minorities. They always play the race card, even here. Does the race of an illegal alien matter for this issue?
Efforts to get an accurate census count have been curbed by the Chinese virus pandemic, which has limited the ability of workers to follow up in person with those who didn’t fill out the survey.
The billions of dollars allocated by the census data should not be inflated over what is needed for American citizens. Personally, I think it’s insane to have Americans send tax dollars into the federal government only to have it then sent back to the States in the form of a grant. It’s just a complete waste of money as the bureaucrats who handle that money is getting paid, which siphons from the kitty.
Senator Kamala Harris spoke in Delaware at her first event as Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate last night, in which she spent much time laying the blame of current unemployment rates, closed businesses and schools, and our current economic crisis at Trump’s feet.
“Trump is also the reason millions of Americans are now unemployed,” she stated. “He inherited the longest economic expansion in history from Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And then, like everything else he inherited, he ran it straight into the ground.”
“This is what happens when we elect a guy who just isn’t up for the job,” she said. “Our country ends up in tatters, and so does our reputation around the world.”
Harris and Biden met together with their spouses at Biden’s home in Delaware before the event, only a day after the Biden campaign announced that Harris would be his running mate. From his home, the four made their way to the Wilmington event.
Harris gave much time during her speech to the COVID-19 pandemic, blaming the current federal administration for the resulting chaos.
“There’s a reason it has hit America worse than any other advanced nation. It’s because of Trump’s failure to take it seriously from the start.”
Harris gave no indication of how the Biden-Harris ticket would handle the COVID-19 situation differently than Trump, or the many states still struggling with infection rates, has handled it.
She compared COVID-19 to the Ebola outbreak during Obama’s presidency, praising Obama and Biden for the fact that only two Americans died of Ebola. “That is what’s called leadership. But compare that to the moment we find ourselves in now.”
Harris also laid out many of the policies that the Biden-Harris ticket would prioritize, including a “clean energy revolution”, the expansion of the Affordable Care Act, the protection of abortion rights, rooting out systemic injustice, and passing a new voting rights act (which she called “a John Lewis voting rights act”).
“This election isn’t just about defeating Donald Trump or Mike Pence. It’s about building this country back better. And that’s exactly what Joe and I will do.”
Both Biden and Harris spoke highly of one another in their speeches, despite their contentious relationship when they were both running for the Democratic ticket.
Now, the two were all smiles and warm compliments in their first speech together.
Biden has stated that he hopes they will be able to campaign together, “if the science allows us.” Biden has been limited in his campaigning to small, socially-distanced events since mid-March as a precaution against COVID-19.
Pro-life pregnancy centers nationwide have received over $4 million in extra support through the CARES Act passed by the Trump administration on March 27th of this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A report by The Guardian estimates that pro-life pregnancy centers in the United States have received anywhere between $4 and $10 million in forgivable federal loans under the paycheck protection program (PPP).
Pro-life pregnancy centers offer abortion alternatives as well as emotional and financial support to women who are faced with unplanned or otherwise challenging pregnancies. Their services are free, with a huge backbone of support from local churches, communities, and volunteers.
Pregnancy centers have seen an increase in need and services during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Life News.
“In 2019, we averaged about 51 reversal starts each month,” director Christa Brown reported. “In March, there were 108, and in April there were 104.”
“The pandemic has added a lot of pressures for our clients,” Brown continued. “If they haven’t lost their jobs, maybe their income has decreased…their living conditions are crowded.”
The number of callers to their hotline has increased in recent months when, as a result of difficulties created by COVID-19, as well as closures and stay-at-home orders, many women turn to abortion pills.
Women who regret their decision call the Heartbeat International’s hotline for help. If they act quickly, there may be time to reverse the pill’s effects.
Over 400 women have successfully reversed the effects of an abortion pill under this treatment, and have delivered their children alive.
The Guardian reported that “Heartbeat International claims to have 2,700 crisis pregnancy center affiliates worldwide, and was itself approved for a PPP loan of between $350,000 and $1m…”
Additionally, the Obria clinic in San Jose, California was approved for up to $350,000 in PPP loans.
An order from the U.S. Department of Transportation is banning all Chinese flights to and from America. This is in retaliation for China failing to allow U.S. Carriers to freely conduct operations.
The order says it is “responding to the failure of” China “to permit U.S. carriers to exercise the full extent of their bilateral right to conduct scheduled passenger air services to and from China.”
Because China has failed to abide by the agreement the U.S. “is suspending the scheduled passenger operations of all Chinese carriers to and from the United States,” wrote Joel Szabat, assistant secretary of aviation and international affairs.
The order is dated June 3 and goes into effect June 16 if Trump so orders.
“The Department will continue to engage our Chinese counterparts so both U.S. and Chinese carriers can fully exercise their bilateral rights. In the meantime, we will allow Chinese carriers to operate the same number of scheduled passenger flights as the Chinese government allows ours,” it stated.
An agreement originally established in 1980 governs flights between China and the U. S.
The agreement establishes rights for carriers of both parties to fly between the country, including the right to “operate combination and all-cargo services with full traffic 2 rights… [f]rom any point or points in the United States…to any point or points in the ‘People’s Republic of China open to scheduled international services,” with frequency limitations in the case of certain Chinese airports.
It continues to say each country is “to ensure that there exist fair and equal rights for the designated airlines of both Parties to operate the agreed services on the specified routes so as to achieve equality of opportunity, reasonable balance and mutual benefit,” the agreement states.
This situation is an escalating factor of growing tension since the COVID 19 outbreak.
Thankfully we have a president that isn’t easily bullied by China.
Senate Democrats are urging the Trump Administration to allow Planned Parenthood to keep the $80 million they received from the Payment Protection Program.
Republicans created the program in order to help small businesses survive the pandemic. The program was meant to help out small restaurant owners, hairstylists, painters, and the like. But the Democrats have turned the program into a bank for hospitals, local and state governments, art centers, and mortgage companies. Their bill includes all these and has forgotten the small businesses.
Now they are asking Trump to allow Planned Parenthood, who profited $110 million last year and pledged $45 million to the Democrat candidate, to be able to keep the $80 million they received instead of giving that money to small businesses that desperately need it.
This is the Democrat party. They are not looking out for anyone but themselves.
Senate Democrats are calling on the Small Business Administration (SBA) to stop pressuring Planned Parenthood centers to return loans they received from the coronavirus stimulus package.
Forty-one Democrats, led by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), sent a letter dated Friday to the Treasury Department and SBA refuting Republicans’ claims that the centers do not qualify for the loan program and blasted efforts to have Planned Parenthood return the money as “ideological.”
“It is critical that the SBA implements the [Paycheck Protection Program] (PPP) as Congress directed, without ideological efforts to treat certain nonprofit organizations differently from others,” they wrote. “The SBA must administer the PPP in a manner that is uniform and that does not target any entity or subset of entities for exclusion, especially if doing so is based on political ideology, the services provided by that entity, or any other factor unrelated to the criteria established by law in the CARES Act.”
The letter comes as the Trump administration and Senate Republicans put pressure on Planned Parenthood centers over the $80 million they received.Senate Republicans are calling on the Justice Department to investigate Planned Parenthood centers, claiming that they were ineligible for the funds due to the PPP’s size standards.“We write to urge you to investigate the activities of dozens of Planned Parenthood affiliates that reportedly applied for and received approximately $80 million in loans from the Paycheck Protection Program, despite actual knowledge that they were ineligible for such loans,” they wrote in a letter this week to Attorney General William Barr. “It was not designed to give government funds to politicized, partisan abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.”
The SBA also sent letters to a number of the affiliates this week saying they were ineligible for the funds due to the PPP’s size standards and that the money should be returned. The loans from the PPP, which was created under the $2.2 trillion CARES Act, are intended for businesses and nonprofits with no more than 500 employees, though the legislation allows some flexibility for larger firms to receive funds. Senate Republicans call on DOJ to investigate Planned Parenthood loans
