The Left and their boot-licking sycophants in the mainstream news media aren’t happy with merely controlling the White House and both chambers of Congress in less than two weeks. Now they want revenge in a campaign of “get-evenism.”
The lists are being created as they also want to punish anyone who worked in the Trump administration and they want to go after the Trump supporters as well, all 75 million of them.
In what can only be described as the most nefarious example so far, Forbes Chief Content Officer Randall Lane, announced that Forbes Media was “holding those who lied for Trump accountable” in what he called “a truth reckoning.” Didn’t the Soviets do something like this? Just saying.
Lane claimed that the media group was taking this unprecedented action in retaliation to the attack on Capitol Hill late Wednesday afternoon, which ended up causing two deaths, a 14-year Air Force veteran who was protesting and a Capitol Police officer.
Lane said that the president’s “lies-upon-lies, repeated frequently and fervently, provided the kindling, the spark, the gasoline” that led to the attack. Randall Lane is not a serious person and Forbes management should take a closer look at him.
The president did not tell the people at the rally prior to marching to the Capitol building to commit any kind of violence. In fact, in a video that media outlets have scrubbed, the president said, “and now you will march peacefully to the Capitol and let your voices be heard.” The president never once said anything to incite violence. He simply told the truth, that the election was stolen from him. Media people like Lane completely ignored the mountains of evidence of election fraud brought out in the open during state legislature hearings where whistleblowers and data experts exposed a lot of election fraud that they witnessed. Instead, people like Lane continued to say that there was no evidence of election fraud. Lane and his cohorts in media are the liars.
This little Nazi, Lane, then singled out five senior White House officials, whom he describes as “the people paid by the People to inform the People.” Is Lane a well man?
“Simple,” he said. “Don’t let the chronic liars cash in on their dishonesty.” I am certain he will never give examples of the dishonesty he speaks of. That’s what you can expect from someone who used to be an editor-at-large for The Daily Beast, emphasis on “Beast” because that leftist rag does nothing but spew lies and Marxist propaganda.
Lane noted that White House spokesmen in the past have received millions in royalties from book deals after they left their post, adding that “Trump’s liars don’t merit that same golden parachute.”
Who the hell is Randall Lane to make a decision like that? Who elected him to be the person who decides who can no longer earn a living? This guy is evil, and the sad thing is, there are many more who will come forward soon, who are far worse.
Acting like Stalin or Castro, Lane threatened business owners, “Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie.”
I think all businesses should assume that Forbes has lost its way. An officer of the company is dictating threatening terms to businesses who did nothing wrong while trying to end the careers of people he deems are liars while half the country would think the opposite.
I am a Trump supporter, and it is mind-boggling to hear radically dangerous rhetoric like this. This is happening because Trump supporters took the president seriously while leftists took him literally. Every policy the president pushed was sober, rational, and successful. You can disagree with America First. You can disagree with renegotiating trade deals so that the American workforce is no longer screwed by Washington politicians who embraced a globalist agenda at their expense. You can disagree that illegal aliens do not belong here while legal immigrants are welcome. You can vehemently disagree, but you can’t say those policies were irrational, and you can’t say that they were not successful for the American people. The economy was the strongest it’s ever been under Trump’s economic policies. Our military is stronger than ever because of the president’s policies. Black and Hispanic unemployment were at record lows because of Trump’s policies. To go all out the way Lane has and the strong language he has used, after experiencing the last four years of success after success makes you wonder if this man is playing with a full deck.
His rant of an article is loaded with hyperbole and outright lies. For a man who claims Trump and those who worked under him are liars, this man should suffer the same prescription he wants to force on them. Randall Lane should never work in media again after publishing threats like this.
Here’s how a leftist will track a Trump lie:
TRUMP: “I paid the guy $100.”
LIBERAL: “Yes, but after taxes he only got $78, therefore Trump lied.”
If you pointed out to Lane that it was President Barack Obama who was awarded Politifact’s “Lie of the Year” he would say that was a lie.
Every Fake News outlet spent over three years lying daily about Russian collusion, and when the Mueller witch hunt investigation ended with the namesake of the investigation concluding that there was no evidence whatsoever that Donald Trump or any member of his campaign colluded with Russia the Randall Lanes of the world never apologized once.
The piece itself comes off like a Toys-in-the-Attic – bat-guano-crazy rant that you have to keep reminding yourself that you’re reading Forbes and not The Daily Beast or Vox or some other ghastly communist critical thinking periodical. The very fact that this was written by the Chief Content Officer of Forbes denies belief in a Benevolent Being. I’m an opinion writer who works as a contractor for sites, and I speak for myself. Lane wrote and published his piece, and because of his position in the company, he is speaking on behalf of Forbes and not as an opinion writer by himself.
How Steve Forbes, Chairman, and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media, himself a former Republican presidential candidate, who I voted for at least once, could keep this guy on the payroll after degrading his company’s once stellar reputation with the garbage Lane published is beyond understanding. Mr. Forbes is a supporter of Trump endorsing him in 2016 and 2020.
Well, here’s why Lane may have gotten away with his radical rant. Forbes Media was sold 6 years ago to Integrated Whale Media Investments. That comes is based in Hong Kong, and as we all know, Hong Kong became a territory of Communist China, the government of which hates Donald Trump.
Let’s be honest, the Democrats need to impeach now because the elections are right around the corner. They haven’t accomplished anything to promote, and they don’t have a strong candidate. In fact, they don’t even have a clear front runner. Which means this party is deeply divided on what it stands for. And after years of trying to remove President Trump from office they have finally concluded they want to impeach Trump on, “abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — pushing toward historic votes over charges he threatened the integrity of the U.S. election system and endangered national security in his dealings with Ukraine.”
But before this annoucement Representative Stephen Lynch, who is on the oversight committee appeared on CNN this morning claiming he hadn’t heard or seen the articles of impeachment. Yet CNN had them? How did CNN have the articles of impeachment before he did? Because they are all in it together.
WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats announced two articles of impeachment Tuesday against President Donald Trump — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — pushing toward historic votes over charges he threatened the integrity of the U.S. election system and endangered national security in his dealings with Ukraine.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, flanked by the chairmen of the impeachment inquiry committees, declared at the U.S. Capitol that thy were upholding their solemn oath to defend the Constitution. Voting is expected in a matter of days in the Judiciary Committee and by Christmas in the full House.
Trump swiftly responded in a capital-letters tweet with the words he uses repeatedly to decry the investigations against him: “WITCH HUNT!” The White House said the charges were “baseless,” and his reelection campaign called them “rank partisanship.”
In outlining the charges, Democrats said they had no choice but to act because Trump has shown a pattern of behavior that, if left unchecked, poses risks to the democratic process ahead of the 2020 election.
″ Our president holds the ultimate public trust. When he betrays that trust and puts himself before country, he endangers the Constitution; he endangers our democracy; he endangers our national security,” said Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., the Judiciary chairman, announcing the charges before a portrait of George Washington. “Our next election is at risk. … That is why we must act now.”
Nadler said, “No one, not even the president, is above the law.″
Chairman Adam Schiff of the Intelligence Committee said, “We stand here today because the president’s abuse of power leaves us with no choice.”
Trump’s allies immediately plunged into the fight that will extend into the new year. White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said Democrats are trying to “overthrow″ the administration. Campaign manager Brad Parscale said Democrats are “putting on this political theater because they don’t have a viable candidate for 2020 and they know it.” The president’s son, Eric, embraced his father’s penchant for name calling, assailing Pelosi and “her swamp creatures.”
As the House chairmen arrived at a closed-door meeting of the chamber’s Democrats after the announcement, they were greeted with applause.
The outcome appears increasingly set as the House prepares for voting, as it has only three times in history against a U.S. president. Approval of the charges would send them to the Senate in January, where the Republican majority would be unlikely to convict Trump.
Democratic leaders say Trump put his political interests above those of the nation when he asked Ukraine to investigate his rivals, including Democrat Joe Biden, and then withheld $400 million in military aid as the U.S. ally faced an aggressive Russia. They say he then obstructed Congress by stonewalling the House investigation.
Trump insisted in a new tweet that when he asked Ukraine’s president “to do us a favor” with the investigations he was requesting, “‘us’ is a reference to USA, not me!” Democrats, however, say Trump’s meaning could not have been clearer in seeking political dirt on Biden, his possible opponent in the 2020 election.
In drafting the articles of impeachment, Pelosi faced a legal and political challenge of balancing the views of her majority while hitting the Constitution’s bar of “treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Some liberal lawmakers wanted more expansive charges encompassing the findings from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election. Centrist Democrats preferred to keep the impeachment articles more focused on Trump’s actions toward Ukraine.
When asked during a Monday evening event if she had enough votes to impeach the Republican president, Pelosi said she would let House lawmakers vote their conscience.
“On an issue like this, we don’t count the votes. People will just make their voices known on it,” Pelosi said at The Wall Street Journal CEO Council. “I haven’t counted votes, nor will I.”
Trump, who has declined to mount a defense in the actual House hearings, tweeted Tuesday just as the six Democratic House committee chairmen prepared to make their announcement.
“To Impeach a President who has proven through results, including producing perhaps the strongest economy in our country’s history, to have one of the most successful presidencies ever, and most importantly, who has done NOTHING wrong, is sheer Political Madness,” he wrote on Twitter.
The next steps are expected to come swiftly after months of investigation into the Ukraine matter, which followed Mueller’s two-year Russia probe.
Pelosi convened a meeting of the impeachment committee chairmen at her office in the Capitol late Monday following an acrimonious, nearly 10-hour hearing at the Judiciary Committee, which could vote as soon as this week.
“I think there’s a lot of agreement,” Rep. Eliot Engel of New York, the Democratic chairman of the Foreign Affairs committee, told reporters as he exited Pelosi’s office. “A lot of us believe that what happened with Ukraine especially is not something we can just close our eyes to.”
At the Judiciary hearing, Democrats said Trump’s push to have Ukraine investigate Biden while withholding U.S. military aid ran counter to U.S. policy and benefited Russia as well as himself.
“President Trump’s persistent and continuing effort to coerce a foreign country to help him cheat to win an election is a clear and present danger to our free and fair elections and to our national security,” said Dan Goldman, the director of investigations at the House Intelligence Committee, presenting the finding of the panel’s 300-page report of the inquiry.
Republicans rejected not just Goldman’s conclusion of the Ukraine matter; they also questioned his very appearance before the Judiciary panel. In a series of heated exchanges, they said Schiff should appear rather than sending his lawyer.
I can’t believe that President Trump can fill stadium after stadium of supporters and yet we don’t see a visible outrage from his supporters. Where are the people? Where are the marches and demonstrations in the streets? Are we just going to let this happen? The citizens of America have power that is far beyond the polls. Don’t make that your only weapon. It will be too late. Fight!!
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said that the White House believes it is likely President Donald Trump will be impeached in the House, coming a day after the House voted along party lines on a procedural resolution.
“We are still obviously hopeful everybody will come to their senses and realize the president did nothing wrong. But we are prepared for an impeachment to happen,” Grisham told Fox News on Friday morning.
“Nancy Pelosi has made it very very clear the House Democrats are going to vote. Starting from the beginning with all of their closed-door meetings and the way they have had their selective leaks with witnesses this has been set up to impeach the president. It is something we’re expecting,” she added.
On Thursday, the House voted 232-196 for a resolution setting out rules for the impeachment process, including public hearings, testimonies, and the release of documents to the public. Republican lawmakers claimed the Democrats have skewed the rules in their favor while only conducting the impeachment investigation because they weren’t happy with the result of the 2016 election.
When she was asked about the impeachment in the House being a “foregone conclusion,” Grisham replied in the Fox interview: “I wouldn’t say it’s a foregone conclusion, but we’re expecting it, yes.”
She said Trump has denied the allegations against him a number of times.
“This is a sham and a kangaroo court. This is unjust and unfair,” Grisham said, adding that for Trump, “you just have to look at his Twitter feed” to see how he feels about it.
The Washington Post published a story relying on anonymous sources alleging a top Trump administration official threatened to resign that was challenged within one hour by the official.
The Post claimed that Joseph Maguire, the acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) threatened to resign because he didn’t want the White House to try to block him from testifying to Congress on Thursday.
Maguire is slated to appear before the House Intelligence Committee, which will grill him about the whistleblower complaint. The complaint was filed by a person who did not directly hear a phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the basis of the complaint. The whistleblower was found to have indications of “political bias.”
The White House released a transcript of the call on Wednesday.
Citing “current and former U.S. officials familiar with the matter,” the Post said that Maguire warned the White House that he would not withhold information from Congress.
Maguire swiftly rebutted the piece, issuing a strongly-worded statement within one hour of publication on Sept. 25.
From the statement by Acting DNI Joseph Maguire:
“At no time have I considered resigning my position since assuming this role on Aug. 16, 2019. I have never quit anything in my life, and I am not going to start now.” https://t.co/hq8Irsv1Dr
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham had responded shortly after the Post story was published, saying: “This is actually not true. And we would have gone on the record to say that if the @washingtonpost had given us more than 6 minutes (literally) to respond.”
At a press conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York, President Trump slammed the Post, calling it “the Amazon Washington Post.”
The Post is owned by Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon and is one of the richest men in the world.
Trump said the paper “just put out a fake article” before saying he’d gotten to know Maguire and that he is a “tough cookie.”
He then read Maguire’s statement in full.
Maguire had issued a statement Tuesday saying the whistleblower complaint would be taken seriously.
“I have sworn an oath to the Constitution 11 times in my 36 years of public service and view it as a covenant with every American that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of my office. In light of recent reporting on the whistleblower complaint, I want to make clear that I have upheld my responsibility to follow the law every step of the way,” he said.
“As public servants, the men and women of the Intelligence Community have a solemn responsibility to do what is right, which includes reporting wrongdoing. I am committed to protecting whistleblowers and ensuring every complaint is handled appropriately. I look forward to continuing to work with the Administration and Congress to find a resolution regarding this important matter.”
White House has criticized a decision of a judge to put on hold a rule by the Trump administration denying asylum to people who pass through other countries
The White House has condemned a decision by a federal judge to put on hold a new Trump administration rule that denies asylum to people who pass through countries where they could apply for asylum on their way to the United States.
“The tyranny of a dysfunctional system that permits plaintiffs to forum shop in order to find a single district judge who will purport to dictate immigration policy to the entire Nation … must come to an end,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a July 25 statement.
U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar in San Francisco blocked the rule on July 24, at the request of activist groups that filed a suit against the policy. Just hours earlier, another federal judge in Washington denied a similar request from a different group of plaintiffs.
The administration has complained for some time about what it calls “activist judges,” whom it accuses of blocking its policies on ideological grounds.
“Too many judges believe it is their right, their duty, to act upon their sympathies and policy preferences,” then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in an Oct. 15 speech, calling judicial activism “a threat to our representative government and the liberty it secures.”
Among the specific issues Sessions pointed out were the nationwide injunctions, in which a judge presiding over a local case blocks the executive action in dispute across the nation while the case proceeds through the courts.
White House: Mueller Testimony ‘Epic Embarrassment for Democrats’
The White House said that former special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony on July 24 was an “epic embarrassment for Democrats,” as President Donald Trump ‘s 2020 campaign manager called it “a disaster.”
After the first section of the hearing, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement: “The last three hours have been an epic embarrassment for the Democrats. Expect more of the same in the second half.”
Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager, later added: “These hearings were a disaster for Democrats.”
“This entire spectacle has always been about the Democrats trying to undo the legitimate result of the 2016 election and today they again failed miserably. Robert Mueller confirmed what we already knew: No collusion, no obstruction, and the way President Trump has been treated is unprecedented,” he added.
“Almost three years and tens of millions of dollars have been wasted on this witch hunt and it is now even more apparent that Democrats are completely consumed with their hatred of the President and their obsession with overturning the will of the people who elected him.”
Jay Sekulow, Trump’s counsel, said in a statement that the testimony from Mueller “exposed the troubling deficiencies of the Special Counsel’s investigation.”
“The testimony revealed that this probe was conducted by a small group of politically-biased prosecutors who, as hard as they tried, were unable to establish either obstruction, conspiracy, or collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. It is also clear that the Special Counsel conducted his two-year investigation unimpeded,” he added. “The American people understand that this issue is over. They also understand that the case is closed.”
