On Monday, former President Donald Trump fired another shot across the bows of the leadership of the Republican Party after it refused to stop using his name and his likeness with fundraising endeavors. They know that Trump is incredibly popular with the party faithful but with a few exceptions, the majority of them did absolutely NOTHING to help him when an election was being stolen from him right before the party faithful’s eyes.
Fed up with them not listening to him (imagine that) Trump put his foot down and issued a statement to his loyal supporters asking them to stop giving money to the Republican Party and instead send donations to a Political Action Committee that he created.
“No more money for RINOS,” (Republicans in name only) Trump said in a statement that was tweeted out by that bastion of Trump hate, the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman.
“They do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base — they will never lead us to Greatness. Send your donation to Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com,” Trump said. “We will bring it all back stronger than ever before!”
I received thousands of text messages and emails from Republicans asking for donations throughout the 2020 election cycle. I donated a lot of my money to Republican candidates, including Mitch McConnell to save the Senate. But once I saw that the RINOs, including Mitch McConnell, who hated Trump all along yet rode his coattails to victory, abandoned him in his hour of need when the 2020 election was stolen from him right before our eyes and did nothing to help. In fact, many of the RINOs to this day do more than just nothing, they insult him by joining the radical, thieving Democrats by referring to Trump’s arguments that massive election fraud took place as the Big Lie. They need to go, and I will never donate another dime to the GOP directly. I am so glad Trump did this.
The gesture came down after a lawyer for the Republican National Committee(RNC) responded Monday to a cease and desist letter from one of Trump’s attorneys about the fundraising campaign.
Justin Reimer, chief counsel at the RNC, replied that the RNC has “every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, and it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals.”
So the RINOs trashed our president as spreading the Big Lie when he tried to engage in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, but they will hide behind that argument when asked to no longer use Trump’s name and likeness to fundraise. That is your typical RINO, good only for themselves. What a bunch of weasels.
Trump’s attorneys had issued similar cease and desist demands to the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
While the issue of using Trump’s likeness and his name to fundraise continues to be battled publicly, Reimer tried to score political points by pointing out that Trump got the RNC to move part of the party’s Palm Beach donor retreat in April to his private club Mar-a-Lago in Florida, referring to the agreement in his response letter that Ronna McDaniel, the RNC chairwoman, had spoken to Trump over the weekend and got his approval for their use of his name and likeness.
Again, that is the epitome of a RINO. Reimer tried to make it seem like Trump was being a hypocrite by coming out against some Republicans for using his name and likeness while allowing the RNC to move an event to his club. The whole point is that McDaniel asked for permission and it is well-known that the RINOs in the party, Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, John McCain, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins,Ben Sasse, and others hated the former president even though he governed conservatively put getting done many of the things they claimed to support for years but somehow never got done.
Of course, the Trump haters immediately attacked when they got the news of the new PAC, claiming he was going to steal the money for himself. What a bunch of morons. He legally created a political action committee, which is bound by campaign finance laws. To even suggest that the former president, who donated his presidential salary every year of his presidency, and who clearly doesn’t need the money, would keep the money for himself makes one an imbecile in politics.
“Trump has finally built the Death Star of swindling. #ANewGrift,” said MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, the guy who looks like the kid with the banjo up on the bridge.
“He didn’t start his own party, which is complicated to do and be competitive, but Trump is trying to set himself up as the place where money for Republicans should go as opposed to GOP committees”
A powerful, politically influential billionaire has been accused of running the most complex tax fraud scheme in U.S. history, and it is one that benefited several RINO groups and causes. The recipients of those funds need to be investigated for potential corruption and fraud.
“Robert Brockman, the former CEO of Ohio-based software company Reynolds & Reynolds, was charged in October with running a $2 billion tax fraud scheme,” CNBC reported on Friday.
In his article, GOP groups quiet as billionaire donor stands accused of running biggest tax fraud scheme ever, Brian Schwartz reported:
“Brockman’s most recent contributions to Republican committees came in 2017, ahead of the congressional midterm elections the following year, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Representatives of the organizations that are still active did not respond when asked whether they plan to refund or give the total amount of contributions away to charity in the wake of the allegations. The 2017 contributions had yet to be reported in the media.”
In 2011, a subsidiary of his company, Universal Computer Systems, Inc., gave $50,000 to The Restoring Prosperity Fund, a super PAC supporting Rick Perry, who ran against Romney for the 2012 Republican nomination.
SECRET EMAILS AND CODES
Wall Street Journal reported:
“Prosecutors allege Mr. Brockman set up an encrypted email system to communicate with those involved in his offshore structure. They referred to each other using such fishing-related code names such as “Permit,” for Mr. Brockman, and “Steelhead,” for Mr. Smith, according to the indictment; the IRS was “The House.”
The IRS was alerted more than 20 years ago to Mr. Brockman’s offshore activities as a result of the litigation by his former salesmen.”
LEFT LEANING PAUL RYAN NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED
According to reports, Paul Ryan, who constantly betrays the people who supported him by supporting left leaving causes, is a major benefactor of Brockman’s.
In 2017, Brockman donated more than $80,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, the political campaign organization for House Republicans. The GOP went on to lose the House to the Democrats, with Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., becoming speaker.
“Brockman also gave more than $100,000 to entities linked to former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, including a six-figure check to the Wisconsin lawmaker’s now-defunct joint fundraising committee. The Brockman NRCC donations were attributed on the filings to Ryan’s joint fundraising committee, which at the time was helping raise money for the Republican campaign arm.
MITT ROMNEY GOT BROCKMAN MONEY-HE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED
“Brockman, through companies he controlled, also heavily financed a super PAC backing Mitt Romney for president in 2012,” according to a report by Mother Jones.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Brockman:
“Mr. Brockman learned of the tax investigation in June 2016, according to prosecutors. Soon after, a former UCS executive involved in the offshore structure, Don Jones, died. Mr. Tamine made several trips to the home of Mr. Jones’s widow in Mississippi to destroy documents and computer drives, according to Mr. Tamine’s account in one of his performance reviews filed with the court.”
“Those efforts meant that we could rest easy that any attempt to search Don’s home would be fruitless,” Mr. Tamine reported to his boss, according to the court filing.”
“Mr. Brockman has pleaded not guilty to 39 criminal counts, including tax evasion, wire fraud, money laundering, and evidence destruction. He and his attorneys didn’t respond to requests for comment.”
Prosecutors allege the bulk of the tax evasion stemmed from profits Mr. Brockman made from investments with Vista Equity Partners, a private-equity firm he helped launch in 2000 and which now manages $73 billion in funds dedicated to software investments.”
Something interesting is happening in politics, and the indicators are everywhere that President Donald J. Trump’sAmerica First’ policies are still holding court in Washington DC, even though Democrat Joe Biden occupies the White House and Democrats hold the US House and the US Senate. For research, look no further than the troublesome RINOS who are not seeking re-election.
“Quiet Never Trumpers who have left: Lamar Alexander Quiet Never Trumpers who are leaving: Rob Portman, Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Pat Toomey. Quiet Never Trumpers hoping to survive: Bill Cassidy, Mitch McConnell, John Thune. The GOP turning against Trump was a bad idea,” reported Emily Robinson, a White House correspondent.
“Sen. Roy Blunt (Mo.), a member of GOP leadership, announced on Monday that he wouldn’t run for reelection in 2022 — marking the latest high-profile retirement for Senate Republicans.
“After 14 general election victories — three to county office, seven to the United States House of Representatives, and four statewide elections — I won’t be a candidate for reelection to the United States Senate next year,” Blunt said in a video.
Blunt, 71, said that he would finish out his current term, which runs through 2022. Blunt was first elected to the Senate in 2010 and previously served 14 years in the House, where he was also a member of GOP leadership,” Jordain Carney Reported, in his article, for The Hill, Roy Blunt won’t run for Senate seat in 2022.
The left feels that it is their unlimited power that has scared the Republicans off.
However, would the left have to cheat at elections if they were really that powerful and popular?
Here is Blunt, after years of hammering the working class, trying to look like a Populist to save face:
EVERYONE WANTS TO LOOK LIKE A WORKER NOW
So, think again about why Blunt and others would leave their cushy jobs now. Consider the overwhelming continuous popularity of Trump, which, no matter how hard the GOP tried, they could not persuade Americans to stop supporting him, and they could not demonize voters enough to drop out of politics. This latest defection from DC, by blunt, on the heels of other left-leaning Republicans like Richard Burr of North Carolina, is not because of the Democrats. It is not because their districts have all of a sudden turned progressive-liberal- Democrat.
The Populist movement had a taste of victory, was exposed to the corruption, and had been directed on how to fight back, and they want Trump back, or at least his populist policies.
One political watcher posted in response to the news, “Just In: Missouri GOP Sen. Roy Blunt announces he will NOT run for re-election in 2022. This makes 4, with Burr, Toomey, and Portman. All 4 of these guys are of GOP’s earlier style – partisan, but not hyper-partisan; conservatives, not clowns. No surprise they’ve had enough.”
That is pretty typical for the left, who is nothing but hyperpartisan.
The RINO movement of going soft in the face of massive leftist power grabs is thankfully coming to an end, and it is the American people who have had enough of watching the transformation of the country happening while the RINO right appeared to be taking bribes to let it all happen, all while giving lip service that they were really upset by it.
2022 is the new 2020. Americans need to stay engaged and get engaged. Run for every office possible, including GOP party office, and get ready to volunteer for some “America First” candidates because obviously, Trump can not do all of the heavy lifting by himself.
Republican Paul Ryan is one of the career politicians who people want to see leave Washington DC because of the insincerity with which he has conducted his life as a public servant. Seen climbing over political ‘corpses’ like Mitt Romney, Ryan is clearly in pursuit of his own wealth and bitterly clinging to the power held on to from the ‘Obama years.’
“Former House Speaker Paul Ryan will hold a fundraiser for embattled House GOP Conference chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) at the end of March, an invitation obtained by Breitbart News shows,” Matthew Boyle wrote for Breitbart news.
“You mean to tell me that a pro-war and pro-amnesty RINO who is hated by Republican voters is supporting another pro-war and pro-amnesty RINO who is also hated by Republican voters? I’m shocked! Liz Cheney and Paul Ryan are a match made in swamp heaven!!!” Don. Trump Jr wrote in response to the news of Ryan’s power grab.
“The fundraiser, a “virtual event,” is slated for Thursday, March 25 at 11 a.m. eastern. The invitation asks donors to give “suggested contributions” of $2,900 to “attend,” or $5,800 to be a “co-host” of the Ryan-Cheney event,” Boyle wrote.
So Ryan is attempting to defend and enrich another RINO, Cheney, who comes from a family of political vultures, and someone who voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump, putting her on a shortlist of 10 Republicans who will be facing the wrath of America First political movement, directed by none other than Trump, himself.
Elections in 2022 are going to be brutal for this reason. Whoever remains in DC of the RINO establishment in the party will face massive blowback from the people. But Ryan appears to be holding on to the ghost of when he could trash the American people.
“Another interesting detail from the fundraising invitation is that the “Liz Cheney for Wyoming” campaign address to which donors are asked to make checks payable is in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. The fact that Cheney’s campaign is headquartered in the nation’s capital rather than in the state she purports to represent is something her primary challengers will almost surely use against her,” Boyle wrote in his article, Exclusive — Paul Ryan Plots Fundraiser for Liz Cheney: ‘Royalty in the Swamp.’
Ryan lets the world know that he is taking on Populist President Trump, who is currently seen as the front runner for 2024 by many potential voters.
Ryan, a RINO with a far-left radical activist wife, and the number of foreign entanglements has driven the GOP to the left for a long time. Clearly, he is not happy with Trump’s push for America First policies like economic nationalism, which would make America a superpower and allow citizens to build wealth and opportunities.
FLASHBACK TO RYAN’S STUPID 2015 “SIGNAL BEARD”
The last thing Ryan the RINO did was before he was voted out of office, taunted Republican voters with his beard and the coyish little boy stories he told the media about his childish games.
Ryan came out of the closet as a leftist bootlicker in 2015, after years of speculation and frustration over his lies in front of the camera.
Recall when Ryan grew a beard to cover up his betrayal of the American people in a massive shift of wealth for embattled Americans? That is when Ryan played games with the media showing off his “Muslim Bead” with glee.
From a 2015 article in the Week.com, “Not everyone is thrilled about Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan working with Democrats on a trillion-dollar package of spending and tax cuts. And, as The Hill points out, some critics have taken it pretty far, questioning if Ryan’s facial hair isn’t actually a clue to his motivations.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?creatorScreenName=Jee_vuh&dnt=true&embedId=twitter-widget-0&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=671438276537024513&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Ftheweek.com%2Fspeedreads%2F596328%2Fconservative-critics-attack-paul-ryan-references-muslim-beard&siteScreenName=theweek&theme=light&widgetsVersion=e1ffbdb%3A1614796141937&width=550px
Now The End Begins, a website that describes itself as being “unashamedly Conservative in our thinking” but not “anti-Arab,” wrote that “Paul Ryan is 100 percent in line with Obama’s liberal agenda, he is 100 percent against Donald Trump, and he has just authorized billions to be spent to bring more Muslim migrants into the United States. And, oh yeah, he suddenly has a full beard.”
However, one commenter using the name Raymond Andrews wasn’t so sure about that logic, replying to the article by asking, “Do you think everyone with a beard is either a Jew or a Muslim? I graduated last December from Louisiana State University. One of the degrees I received was in Forestry. Every male in my Forestry major had a full beard.” Jeva Lange
RYAN WAS SO PLEASED WITH HIMSELF- REMEMBER THE BEARD?
So this time, Ryan thinks he will lead the insurrection of the Republican party and against Americans by enriching Cheney and the RINO establishment. Good. Ryan’s endorsement is making clear who exactly our problems are in DC.
It makes it easier to find them and vote them out.
Rumors have circulated for years that Republican Mitch McConnell would have retired in 2016 if President Donald J. Trump hadn’t been elected, and McConnell stayed on to destroy Trump’s America First agenda. We are getting one step closer to discovering that those rumors may have been true by watching activity in the Kentucky State House.
“SENATE MINORITY LEADER Mitch McConnell has compiled a shortlist of successors in his home state of Kentucky, preparing for the possibility that he does not serve out his full term, Kentucky Republicans tell The Intercept,” Nick Storm reported.
“The list is topped by his protégé, state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, and also includes former United Nations Ambassador Kelly Craft, whose billionaire coal magnate husband is a major McConnell donor, as well as Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams, a former McConnell Scholar.
A high-ranking member of the Trump administration, Peter Navaro, is often candid about the obstacles set up by McConnell, that stymied Trump.
“He messed everything up for us, except for the judges. That is the only thing we could get past McConnell,” Navarro, a top economic advisor, told Steve Bannon on the War Room a few weeks back.
Rumors are back on again that McConnell, who is despised by the left for being too “Conservative” and by the right for being a RINO and fighting the Populist majority of Americans, will take the plunge and leave the US Senate.
McConnell fought hard against Trump’s policies, considered being “Economic Nationalism” or America First, where American citizens would see increased opportunities for their own employment.
McConnell always talked tuff, impressing low information voters, but the truth is that he preferred to support large foreign corporations, and an impoverished district is McConnells’s real legacy.
McConnell’s cohorts in Government are well-known “Populist killing” machines, like left-leaning Paul Ryan. They are great at impressing people, using the media and perfect propaganda, but then behind the scenes they gut economic opportunities for Americans.
McConnell won’t be missed if he does leave. Supporters of Trump’s policies for America hope he takes some RINOS (Republican in Name Only) with him.
THE PARTY RINOS BUILT IS OVER
Storm writes something very interesting; the party Mitch built all but over.
“McConnell’s scramble to secure his legacy comes as his position in the party he effectively built from the ground up is increasingly shaky. McConnell’s denunciation of former President Donald Trump — even as it was accompanied by a vote of acquittal and a pledge to endorse the former president in 2024 if he is the GOP nominee — has brought on calls for his censure by party leaders across the state. A candidate running in McConnell’s mold would face an uphill climb through a primary in the new Republican Party — unless, that is, the candidate has the benefit of incumbency.
The 79-year-old McConnell has held his Senate seat since 1985 and handily won a seventh term last November.
The new legislation, Senate Bill 228 — dubbed by some inside the state Legislature as the Daniel Cameron Election Bill — was filed on February 10, 2021, during the Kentucky General Assembly’s 30-day “short” session. The bill alters current state statute that allows the governor to appoint a replacement in the event of a vacancy to the U.S. Senate.”
Something happened to the Republican Party after Donald Trump came along. For decades registered Republicans across the country fought to keep the liberal Democrats at bay hoping upon hope that Republican policies would win the day and the American government would start behaving the way the Founding Fathers intended them to behave once again.
But alas, it was not to be, because there are too many fake Republican RINOs – an acronym meaning “Republicans In Name Only” – elected to office who want nothing more than to be loved by the media and the Democrats. John McCain (dead), Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Jeff Flake (gone), Lisa Murkowski, you know the types, they vote against the party to make it appear that they’re bold and principled by standing up to the mean Republicans and side with the Democrats. The Democrats on the other hand always stick together whether out of fear or they worked like robots for so long they forget that they are supposed to vote for what’s right for the country. I’m not all that concerned about the Democrats. We know what we get with them.
It’s the RINOs we need to worry about. Worse than Democrats, we often rely on their votes to pass fundamental reforms to the system, and I’,m getting sick and tired of having to worry about what a pompous ass like Romney would do when it comes to certain things. Wouldn’t it be much better if we got rid of the RINOs and replaced them with solid conservatives who love the Constitution and would never side with the socialist party on the other side of the aisle?
Former President Donald Trump thinks so as well, and on Sunday he revealed how he plans to target those RINO Republicans who supported his second impeachment.
When the House impeached President Trump back in January, they charged him with “incitement of insurrection,” and ten House Republicans joined the Democrats by supporting their radical effort, including Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY), who is the third highest-ranking Republican in the House.
The trend of stupidity continued in the Senate as a group of Republican RINO Senators joined forces with the lunatic liberals and voted to convict and remove President Trump from office even though he had already left office and even though the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court did not preside because even he knew the whole impeachment sham was a real fustercluck. Fortunately, the Senate did not reach the 67 votes that were needed to set such horrible precedence.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida on Sunday, Trump shredded his RINO opponents and vowed he is going to actively campaign against them. It’s not a get evenism ploy on Trump’s part. He understands how RINOs bring harm to the cause of liberty, how their selfish actions of “look at me” politics hurt the American people.
“I’m announcing that I will be actively working to elect strong, tough, and smart Republican leaders,” Trump said, and the CPAC crowd started chanting “USA! USA! USA!”
In fact, Trump claimed that RINOs will “destroy the Republican Party and the American worker and will destroy our country itself.”
“Now more than ever is the time for tough, strong, and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel. We need strong leadership. We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they have ever shown for standing up to Democrats, the media, and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country,” Trump said.
“Instead of attacking me and more importantly the voters of our movement, top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy in opposing Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats,” Trump declared.
And they never do. When was the last time you heard any of them take the initiative to stand up against the Democrats on any one of their goofy and dangerous policy proposals? It just doesn’t happen. They may sometimes vote against Democrat bills, but they remain quiet leading up to the vote. In fact, the only time you really see a RINO get vocal is when they are either trashing Trump, Trump supporters, or the American people who disagree with them.
Trump named some Republican politicians he said he will campaign against.
“The Democrats don’t have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey, and in the House, Tom Rice [of] South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez. That’s another beauty. Fred Upton, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Peter Meyer, John Katko, David Valadao. And of course the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney. How about that? The good news is in her state, she’s been censured, and in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I’ve ever seen. So hopefully they’ll get rid of her with the next election.”
“Get rid of them all,” Trump declared.
I’m sorry, but there is no other way. The Democrats stick together to fight for socialism and it’s high time the Republicans have a party in DC that fights together in full strength to push for liberty, less government, lower taxes. It’s time the GOP stands for America First where working-class families get to live better lives instead of politicians in the DC swamp.
Faced with acquitting their arch enemy, President Donald J. Trump, during the closing arguments of the fake Senate impeachment trial, entitled civil servants went wild. They extended their society style trial by agreeing to bring in new witnesses to testify to new charges on Saturday morning.
A storyline not favorable to taxpayer-funded politicians, who appear to have set a trap for Trump to not defend himself fully in the days leading up to the trial, leaked information to media and then employed social media to make noise about planted stories, emerged in shocking detail.
But how did the media get so worked up so fast?
5 Republicans joined the Democrats to demand an extension of the fake Impeachment trial. Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins, Pat Toomey, Ben Sasse.
See Leahy make the announcement:
“On the fifth day of former president Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, Senators voted 55-45 to hear witnesses, potentially extending the trial. On Friday, both House managers and Donald Trump’s legal team fielded questions from Senators after the former president’s defense team presented its case on his role in the January 6 assault on the US Capitol building. House impeachment managers presented their arguments against Trump on Wednesday and Thursday.”
“As of late yesterday afternoon, there was a stipulation going around that there weren’t going to be any witnesses,” van der Veen argued. “After what happened here in this chamber yesterday, the House managers realize they did not investigate this case before bringing the impeachment; they did not give the proper consideration and work. They didn’t put the work in that was necessary to impeach the former president.”
Raskin argued that Friday night, Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler, R-Wash., issued a statement confirming that in the middle of the riots, when McCarthy called Trump to ask for help, and the president reportedly replied to him, “I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are.”
Speculation as to why McCarthy’s office would leak that information to the media and how it got to social media influencers quickly. That is how the left works, perfectly to shape public opinion.
“Needless to say, this is an additional critical piece of corroborating evidence, further confirming the charges before you as well as the president’s willful dereliction of duty and desertion of duty,” Raskin said.
The truth is Trump was about to be acquitted, so the left moved the goal post and on the spot invented new charges.
Trump’s attorney argued that Trump was not being tried on charges of dereliction and that if one witness would be called, “I’m going to need at least over 100 depositions, not just one” from people who were charged with rioting that Democrats claimed all blamed Trump for encouraging them to take action.
From an early tweet, Jim Acosta, from CNN reported an eyebrow-raising storyline that suggested former Vice President Mike Pence had been leaking information to the leftist media and Democrats, and the propaganda media was springing into action to set the narrative:
“The only thing that I ask if you vote for witnesses do not handcuff me, limiting the number of witnesses that I can have,” he said. “I need to do the 9/11 style investigation that (Speaker) Nancy Pelosi called for. It should have been done already. It’s a dereliction of the House managers duty that they didn’t.”
It looks as if Trump was set up, but that all of America has been set up.
aul Sperry holds out a crumb of hope that any turn around will happen:
There is a discussion in DC to disallow Trump from being allowed to have witnesses. Interesting work for our civil servants, who have not missed one ay check, and still won’t while they play political games.
Taxes are supposed to help the government function. Our Constitution has what is referred to as the General Welfare clause, and if anyone knew the reasoning behind this mention in the Preamble, they would understand that taxation in our federal system is out of control and is not functioning the way our Founding Fathers intended.
At one point during the Constitutional Convention, the old statesman, Benjamin Franklin, proposed a tax for the general government (federal) for “a power to provide for cutting canals where deemed necessary.” The reasoning for this was sound enough. Canals in those days were used to move merchandise off of ships that sailed to port and to distribute them throughout each city, town, or otherwise.
Luckily for us, Roger Sherman objected, saying, “The expence [sic] in such cases will fall on the U. States, and the benefit accrue to the places where the canals may be cut.”
In other words, Sherman argued that the entire people of the United States would have to pay a tax that only the people who benefitted from it would be those who used the canals. This sparked a firestorm of debates in the Convention and later among the delegates of the States during the ratification. The end result was to adopt the idea that any bill that comes to be Constitutionally voted upon that needed funding, the prerequisite would be that in order to create the tax to fund the program, everyone who has to pay the tax must also reap a benefit from the program they are paying taxes to fund. Do you feel you’re getting your money’s worth today? Do you think the DC swamp is adhering to the General Welfare principles? Heck, most progressive politicians today believe the General Welfare clause give them license to tax the hell out of us to provide welfare benefits to those in need.
Wall Street has been jumping for joy over the election results, believing that the since the dreaded blue wave fizzled into a blue puddle, it meant that Democrats would not propose huge tax increases that the Biden campaign promised to bring them, with everything going back to the miserable days before Donald Trump. While the GOP has so far retained control of the US Senate, the two runoff races in Georgia aside, most believe the GOP will retain control.
While control of the Senate will not be decided until the January 5 runoff elections in Georgia, most onlookers believe that it’s not likely that the two Democratic challengers will win and tip control of the Senate to the Democrats. Well, maybe those folks have too much faith believing that Democrats haver a morality that will preclude them from cheating the way they did so massively in the general election. We’ll see.
If the Republicans continue to control the Senate, the chances of tax increases by, God forbid, a Biden administration, would be very unlikely.
The problem we now face are even if the Republican maintain control of the Senate with just 2 votes to give them the majority, this would make some RINOs very important to the cause of freedom and liberty. I’m talking about Mitt Romney and Susan Collins. If just those two turncoats vote with Democrats to increase taxes on the proverbial rich, and we all know that really means everyone, then it goes to a 50-50 tie and ties under a Biden administration would go to a Vice President Kamala Harris whose senate voting record makes her the most radical progressive ever to hold a seat in that chamber, more so than even Bernie Sanders.
A Biden administration could be anticipated to move rapidly to suggest a major fiscal stimulus package deal and to use budget reconciliation to expedite its passage through the House and Senate. Budget reconciliation is a budget process method that would enable the Biden plan to avoid a Republican filibuster, limit debate in the Senate to a mere twenty hours, and pass the Senate with only 51 votes.
Biden is a slime ball, and though he doesn’t have the cognitive ability to do much of anything complicated these days, as if he ever did, the people who would really be running things will be clever enough to reshape an ugly tax hike package to be acceptable enough for at least two Republican senators. Think about it. A stimulus package could ask for trillion of dollars to spend on coronavirus relief for small businesses and people who are unemployed. They would bail out failing cities and states run into the ground by progressive policies and you, the taxpayer, would be on the hook to pay for it all. Rather than take the Trump approach which is the strengthen the private sector by getting the government off the people’s backs and allowing ordinary people to do extraordinary things, a Biden administration would create policies to make as many Americans dependent on the federal government as possible.
They would add things like child tax credits and child and dependent care tax credits, and other various tax credits that may seem like a windfall for some people, but the strings attached to that spending would be enormous.
A Biden administration would crush the achievements of President Trump and America would quickly no longer be great. A Biden tax plan could be pushed through with the age-old class warfare attack of only raising taxes on corporations and the rich, thus sending the message that you don’t want to start a business and/or get rich, because you’re evil and you shall be punished. It’s maddening. They could also raise the top rates for the corporate tax and go back to the days of Bill Clinton for individual taxes to say 39%. Do you want to pay 39% of your hard-earned money to a Biden administration?
Wait until they start to mention a wealth tax where they will tax money you earned that has already been taxed and is sitting in an account somewhere accruing interest. That’s outright theft, but a Romney and Collins could bring that to you. It wouldn’t hurt them, because like the days of old Democrat politics, they would probably be exempt from the same laws that would harm everyone else. That’s how the game used to be played before Trump came along and reset the playing field to be more fair.
Speaking of unfairness, a Biden administration would go back to allowing progressive states like California, Illinois and New York, with very high tax rates to pay for all the progressive government handout programs, to let their rich progressive friends write off their high state taxes on their federal returns, thus forcing the middle and lower classes in other states to subsidize them by paying their share of taxes for them, something the Trump administration did away with. So much for the rich paying their fair share.
It could also include provisions Biden called for during the campaign, such as a new corporate minimum tax and the repeal of tax provisions used by real estate investors.
In short, the kinds of tax structure changes the Biden campaign talked about would again make it impossible for many corporations to function inside the United States and would have them leave the country and go to places like China, who have Joe Biden in their back pocket. We are just coming out of the forced lockdowns and tax increases now would slow investment, killing job creation and we would experience another economic malaise like what we went through with 8 years of Obama-Biden.
Think about it. If Republicans can hold onto the Senate majority, and curb the traitors to freedom and liberty within it, the economic catastrophe that awaits us could be avoided. Donate whatever you can to the David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler campaigns to help them beat the cheat that we know the Democrats are right now preparing. Donate like your future depends on it, because it really does.
Unlike the GOP leaders in the state legislatures in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, The Chairman of the Michigan Senate Oversight Committee Ed McBroom says he will not allow President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani to testify on Tuesday.
Grassroots Republicans are working feverishly organizing a hearing Tuesday inside the Binsfeld Office Building in Lansing, Michigan.
The hearing will focus on the massive fraud witnessed by dozens of Republican observers on November 3rd and 4th at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan.
Most of the testimony will focus on the Detroit absentee ballot counting at the TCF plus overvotes in precincts throughout Wayne County. An overvote occurs when there are more votes cast than registered voters, impossible but happened all over the county.
Only in-person or written testimony will be accepted.
Michigan State Senator Ed McBroom (R- Vulcan) was quoted by liberal Jonathan Oosting:
An hour later McBroom softened a little, but he kept the caveat that someone from the Trump team could speak, but only if they had first hand knowledge and for 3 minutes.
I expect Rudy to show up and regardless of where he has to set up, the truth will get out. In the America I grew up in, and hopefully tomorrow, Giuliani will present his case, via the witnesses and other affidavits, sitting in front of the committee.
We never want to shy away from seeking the truth, even if a few people have a virus, with a 99.98 percent survival rate, in the community.
