America is a Constitutional Republic where we elect representatives to represent in the “Halls of US Congress” how we feel about matters, our needs, and how we want people to vote. Representatives are supposed to be taking calls from their “constituents,” and as public servants, they serve the American people by casting a vote for us.
So how did 8 Republicans in red states vote for a historic gun grab alongside the Democrat Communist-Marxist party, ignoring a historic number of votes for Republicans? It doesn’t take a math genius to see that it is not a linear pattern emerging for these RINOS.
DO SOME MATH
What we do know is that President Donald J. Trump received over 75 Million votes, and if it were not for some mysterious votes showing up in the middle of the night that no one is allowed to inspect or question, Trump would be the president today. He represents a massive number of real voting Americans.
Protecting Gun ownership is one of the major reasons people join the Republican party in the first place.
Nevertheless, these RINO Cons voted on Thursday to override their Republican voters in a leftist utopian gun grab.
8 House Republicans voted for the Democrat gun control bill:
Vern Buchanan (R-FL)- Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) – Maria Salazar (R-FL) – Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) – Chris Smith (R-NJ) – Fred Upton (R-MI) – Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) – Adam Kinzinger (R-IL)
Awr Hawkins, for Breitbart News, reported on the disastrous RINOS:
HOW MANY REPUBLICANS IN AMERICA WANT TO BAN ALL PRIVATE SALES? BAN TEMP TRANSFERS?
According to the bill, a huge number of legal gun users in America would become criminals, making the future election for Democrats that much easier:
“It shall be unlawful for any person who is not a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer to transfer a firearm to any other person who is not so licensed, unless a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer has first taken possession of the firearm for the purpose of complying with subsection (t). (B)
Upon taking possession of a firearm under subparagraph (A), a licensee shall comply with all requirements of this chapter as if the licensee were transferring the firearm from the inventory of the licensee to the unlicensed transferee. (C)
If a transfer of a firearm described in subparagraph (A) will not be completed for any reason after a licensee takes possession of the firearm (including because the transfer of the firearm to, or receipt of the firearm by, the transferee would violate this chapter), the return of the firearm to the transferor by the licensee shall not constitute the transfer of a firearm for purposes of this chapter.
USING HIGHLY GENDERED LANGUAGE-NOTE WHO CAN NOT USE GUNS
a transfer or exchange (which, for purposes of this subsection, means an in-kind transfer of a firearm of the same type or value) that is a loan or bona fide gift between spouses, between domestic partners, between parents and their children, including step-parents and their step-children, between siblings, between aunts or uncles and their nieces or nephews, or between grandparents and their grandchildren if the transferor has no reason to believe that the transferee will use or intends to use the firearm in a crime or is prohibited from possessing firearms under State or Federal law; (C)
a transfer to an executor, administrator, trustee, or personal representative of an estate or a trust that occurs by operation of law upon the death of another person; (D)
a temporary transfer that is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm, including harm to self, family, household members, or others, if the possession by the transferee lasts only as long as immediately necessary to prevent the imminent death or great bodily harm, including harm to self, and the harm of domestic violence, dating partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, and domestic abuse;
WHO TRUSTS THE GOVERNMENT?
If, when reading through this bill you become aware that citizens are trusting government actors to decide the definitions of several things that can not be trusted with, like what is a “crime”? Who is a transferee? And how will they use the media and kangaroo courts as a political theater to get more control over our lives…. then you are not alone.
On Monday, former President Donald Trump fired another shot across the bows of the leadership of the Republican Party after it refused to stop using his name and his likeness with fundraising endeavors. They know that Trump is incredibly popular with the party faithful but with a few exceptions, the majority of them did absolutely NOTHING to help him when an election was being stolen from him right before the party faithful’s eyes.
Fed up with them not listening to him (imagine that) Trump put his foot down and issued a statement to his loyal supporters asking them to stop giving money to the Republican Party and instead send donations to a Political Action Committee that he created.
“No more money for RINOS,” (Republicans in name only) Trump said in a statement that was tweeted out by that bastion of Trump hate, the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman.
“They do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base — they will never lead us to Greatness. Send your donation to Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com,” Trump said. “We will bring it all back stronger than ever before!”
I received thousands of text messages and emails from Republicans asking for donations throughout the 2020 election cycle. I donated a lot of my money to Republican candidates, including Mitch McConnell to save the Senate. But once I saw that the RINOs, including Mitch McConnell, who hated Trump all along yet rode his coattails to victory, abandoned him in his hour of need when the 2020 election was stolen from him right before our eyes and did nothing to help. In fact, many of the RINOs to this day do more than just nothing, they insult him by joining the radical, thieving Democrats by referring to Trump’s arguments that massive election fraud took place as the Big Lie. They need to go, and I will never donate another dime to the GOP directly. I am so glad Trump did this.
The gesture came down after a lawyer for the Republican National Committee(RNC) responded Monday to a cease and desist letter from one of Trump’s attorneys about the fundraising campaign.
Justin Reimer, chief counsel at the RNC, replied that the RNC has “every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, and it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals.”
So the RINOs trashed our president as spreading the Big Lie when he tried to engage in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, but they will hide behind that argument when asked to no longer use Trump’s name and likeness to fundraise. That is your typical RINO, good only for themselves. What a bunch of weasels.
Trump’s attorneys had issued similar cease and desist demands to the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
While the issue of using Trump’s likeness and his name to fundraise continues to be battled publicly, Reimer tried to score political points by pointing out that Trump got the RNC to move part of the party’s Palm Beach donor retreat in April to his private club Mar-a-Lago in Florida, referring to the agreement in his response letter that Ronna McDaniel, the RNC chairwoman, had spoken to Trump over the weekend and got his approval for their use of his name and likeness.
Again, that is the epitome of a RINO. Reimer tried to make it seem like Trump was being a hypocrite by coming out against some Republicans for using his name and likeness while allowing the RNC to move an event to his club. The whole point is that McDaniel asked for permission and it is well-known that the RINOs in the party, Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, John McCain, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins,Ben Sasse, and others hated the former president even though he governed conservatively put getting done many of the things they claimed to support for years but somehow never got done.
Of course, the Trump haters immediately attacked when they got the news of the new PAC, claiming he was going to steal the money for himself. What a bunch of morons. He legally created a political action committee, which is bound by campaign finance laws. To even suggest that the former president, who donated his presidential salary every year of his presidency, and who clearly doesn’t need the money, would keep the money for himself makes one an imbecile in politics.
“Trump has finally built the Death Star of swindling. #ANewGrift,” said MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, the guy who looks like the kid with the banjo up on the bridge.
“He didn’t start his own party, which is complicated to do and be competitive, but Trump is trying to set himself up as the place where money for Republicans should go as opposed to GOP committees”
Senator Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) proposal to mandate raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour was given a pink slip when eight, count em, eight Democrat senators joined the Republicans to reject the measure for whatever reasons I don’t care just so long as it failed.
The eight senators that the Woke Supremacists are now poking needles into their voodoo dolls are Senators Tom Carper (D-DE), Chris Coons (D-DE), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), Jon Tester (D-MT), and Angus King (I-ME) and Independent who caucuses with Democrats voted against the measure, joining every Republican in the upper chamber.
The vote failed at 42–58. The socialists needed 60 votes to overrule the Senate parliamentarian’s decision that a minimum wage increase can’t be embedded in a broader COVID-19 stimulus bill. The fact that they even tried shows that they don’t give a rat’s behind about the parliamentarian rules in the first place. Most honest people would want to do something and then say, “Oh, it’s against the rules? Well, then okay, I guess that’s that,” but not the socialists. They just want what they want and rules be damned. I’m surprised they haven’t already canceled the parliamentarian. Maybe a group of Woke thugs will show up outside her home at 2 am in the morning banging pots and pans and singing chants with signs saying “Where’s my f’ing money!”
Senator Sinema took to social media to tweet that she supports raising the minimum wage because she knows “what it is like to face tough choices while working to meet your family’s most basic needs.”
“Senators in both parties have shown support for raising the federal minimum wage and the Senate should hold an open debate and amendment process on raising the minimum wage, separate from the COVID-focused reconciliation bill,” she said.
I can see a primary in her future.
Manchin, who wants people to think he’s a centrist said in an interview with The Hill that he doesn’t support the $15 per hour increase, but that he’s open to raising the minimum wage to something that is “responsible and reasonable.” In West Virginia, his home state, he suggested that it should be $11 per hour when adjusted for inflation.
Personally, I don’t think the minimum wage itself is responsible or reasonable. What right does the federal government have to tell businesses in states how much they must at least pay their workers? On top of that, every single time the minimum wage is increased the little guy gets hurt. That’s right, the workers who are making minimum wage or just slightly above it are the ones who lose their jobs because many small businesses can’t afford the increase.
Here’s the dirty little secret that the DC swamp rats won’t tell you. Every time the Democrats push for a minimum wage increase they tell you they’re doing it because they think the little guy deserves to make a living wage. What they’re really doing is giving paybacks to unions that donate money to get them reelected. The scam goes like this. In many union contracts, the minimum wage is tied in. What I mean is it’s in their union contracts that if the minimum wage goes up say 5% then the already overinflated union-wage must also go up 5%. So, a person currently making $7.25 per hour, the current federal minimum wage would then be increased to $15 an hour, or a 106.8966% increase, which is okay. According to ZipRecruiter, the average union worker when all areas of the country are considered is $20 per hour. That means while the little guy ins gett $15 an hour, the average user worker will now have a salary of over $41. What a scheme!
Some Democrats who have probably never had to run a payroll condemned the eight senators who voted against the minimum wage hike.
“Are you on the side of the working people in America who desperately need a raise? Or are you on the side of the wealthy and the powerful who want to continue exploiting their workers and paying starvation wages?” Bernie Sanders said. He added, “It ain’t more complicated than that.” Actually, it is more complicated than that, but Bernie works at a third-grade level when ciphering numbers.
Democrats have demonstrated that they never cared one iota for the small businesses they would destroy with moves like increasing the minimum wage. Democrats and Socialists are always telling us that they believe that the working man should be able to be paid a living wage. I submit to you that most businesses do pay a living wage. People can live on $7.25 an hour if they didn’t have all the taxes taken out that are confiscated from each paycheck. The current minimum wage would be about $1,100 bucks a month take-home pay if there were no taxes taken out, not bad for an unskilled worker.
That’s another thing. Democrats understand that most people earning minimum wage are usually young people who are just starting out in the labor market and that they raise themselves out of minimum wage within the first six months of employment. Earning minimum wage is just temporary for most people. Some adults work a minimum wage job but it’s usually a second job that they work to supplement their full-time earnings. If you’re raising a family working for years at a minimum wage job then you have more problems than only earning minimum wage.
My Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman, an idiot, a Democrat, but then I repeat myself, who is now running for the Senate seat that will be vacant when the RINO Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) retires in 2022, said that “every single senator who voted against a $15 minimum wage today should be forced to live on $7.25 an hour so that they can demonstrate to all of us how it’s possible.” How about every single executive branch official in the Tom Wolf administration be forced to live without any income for a year the way they did to millions of Pennsylvanians who lost their job because of the forced COVID lockdowns?
Toomey said back in January about a White House proposal, “If the federal government mandates a universal $15 minimum wage, many low-income Americans will lose their current jobs and find fewer job opportunities in the future.”
As Congress fought to get the economic not really stimulus bill passed, the Labor Department on Friday said that US employment surged in February, adding 379,000 jobs, significantly higher than many economists had expected. Thank you, Donald Trump!
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) virtue-signaled that millions of jobs are still lost to the pandemic and people are still struggling to pay their rent, so Washington has to act aggressively, even though it Washington has zero authority Constitutionally to do any of it.
“Sometimes the macro statistics get in the way. The top-end is doing very well … But so many other people are struggling,” he said.
The problem with morons like Schumer is that he wants you to think it’s the top-end wage earner’s fault that the others are struggling when the reality is the government is the bad guy here because the government shut businesses down.
David Shor, a veteran political operative of the Obama 2012 campaign is now the head of data science at OpenLabs, a progressive nonprofit organization. Shor gave a new analysis of the 2020 election for what the Democrats need to do to keep the Congress, outside of stealing it, but interestingly he believes Donald Trump, especially the Trump era, has been really good for Republicans. I’ve been saying for some time now that there will be a shift in support from traditional demographics for both parties but it will work better for Republicans, and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves.
Shor’s analysis has changed since November and it’s worth taking some time to hear what he has to say because I believe it’s great news for conservatives, and his analysis proves we were right all along about Trump, the Democrats, and the country as a whole.
What has changed since the November 3 election is now we have available voting history on an individual level from a bunch of states and a lot more precinct data that will blow your mind. Now that some time has passed, surveys have been conducted and things are getting clearer as to what happened in 2020.
One thing we can take away from the 2020 electorate is that the partisan composition for 2020 closely resembled what happened in 2016. Once again the polls were wrong and Trump came out much stronger than the fake news media polls indicated. Because of this, many people thought that turnout models were off. They thought that Trump had inspired more Republican turnout than he did in 2016, the naysayers and folks that stayed home in 2016 came out this time to vote, but that’s not the case.
Follow me here. The electorate for 2020 was slightly more for Democrats than it had been in 2016. So it seems that Trump didn’t exceed the expectations that he would inspire a higher Republican turnout. The Trump campaign learned early on that the 2020 election was not the typical you get your base and your opponent gets his base and both sides fight for the Independents. On the contrary, the Trump campaign realized that there were very few people who were going to vote that were sitting on a fence. Most people had already made up their minds and so the strategy was to get the Republican vote out. But Trump didn’t inspire more Republicans, he exceeded his expectations by persuading more people to come out to vote. This is where it gets good.,
Without getting too heavily into the weeds with data, the Democrats gained about one percentage point among non-college white voters and about 7 percent among white college graduates. However, black support declined by up to 2 percent, Hispanic support for Democrats crashed 8 to 9 percent. We’re still waiting on data from California to see if the same phenomenon happened with Asian voters, but even so, there’s already evidence that Democrats lost about 5 percent of the Asian American vote. These shifts are a big problem for Democrats. They are losing support from groups they traditionally take for granted, and there are some reasons why.
For one thing, racial polarization declined between 2016 and 2018. How is that so? The Democrats and their boot-licking sycophants in the mainstream news media called Trump a racist every day for four years. How could it be that blacks, Hispanics, and Asians no longer drank the Democrat Kool-Aid?
Said another way, a voter’s level of education whether they had a college degree or not became a bigger predictive tool for which party they voted for in the 2020 race than it was in 2016, but more importantly, a voter’s racial identity became less predictive. Wait, what? In other words, the Democrats playing the race card did not pay off as well in 2020 as it has for the last 70 years.
White voters trended toward the Democrats while nonwhite voters trended toward Trump and the Republicans. And the reason for this is pretty simple.
Hispanic support that dropped for Democrats wasn’t just Cuban Americans who have always been more conservative than other Hispanic voting blocks due to the fact that they lived under communism and so they know it sucks. The decline in Hispanic support for Democrats was broad, taking place in California, Arizona, New York, Texas, and other states. Actually, the data shows huge drops of Hispanic support for Democrats throughout the country while larger in some areas and smaller in others, but the change is recognizable everywhere.
The data was looked at to see Clinton voters in 2016 switching over to Trump in 2020. Clinton voters who shared conservative views on crime, policing and security in their communities were far more likely to switch to Trump. And though there were other issues that voters cared about the top one was the issue of crime and public safety.
People want safe neighborhoods, they want their families to be safe, their kids to go to a good school. They don’t want riots in their neighborhoods for an entire summer while the politicians they elected to represent them stand by and ignore the harm being done to their communities. People work hard every day to put food on the table and to make ends meet and then when they have to worry about their car being broken into every night of the week, or someone breaks into their home to get money for drugs, or their kids are beaten up on the way to school, or they’re afraid to talk to the cops about the drug dealers on their corners for fear of reprisals, they look to their community’s leadership for answers. But when their politicians tell them that their answer to the crime problem is they are going to defund the police, remove special crime units, take more cops off the streets, even dismantle whole police departments, when they watch a vice-presidential candidate supporting an organization that funds bailing out rioters so that they can get back to the streets quicker to commit more mayhem, when city politicians remove bail and make laws that prohibit police from arresting people for certain types of crimes, when these things happen you tend to wonder why the hell you keep voting for those leaders?
Donald Trump was the law and order president. He knew that American families want to live in peace. They want to work hard to make a life for themselves and their children. Trump’s instincts have always been right about things like this because he truly is a blue-collar billionaire. Unlike many politicians, Trump hasn’t lost touch with the American people. He created policies directly targeting black and Hispanic communities that helped bring good-paying jobs that changed their lives for the better. Trump’s policies lowered black and Hispanic unemployment rates to the lowest ever recorded. The Trump tax cuts put more money in people’s pockets. Trump helped HBCU’s by putting an increase to grant money on the budget so that the administrators of those Historically black colleges and universities didn’t have to grovel in front of Washington politicians every year. Trump signed the First Step Act that was the first real prison reform in decades. He brought the economy back with common-sense economic policies and he renewed foreign policies to reflect the attitude of America First.
The Democratic Party is no longer the party of the working-class. They are the party of corporations and elitist progressivism hell-bent on pushing the country toward socialism. Now the Republican Party is the party of working-class people and so the Democrats playing the race card every four years won’t work as much as it used to because the proof is in the pudding. Republicans delivered while the Democrats are scaring the living daylights out of everyone.
This is what losing the consent of the governed looks like, and as the Democrats are finding out it has serious practical consequences.
On Thursday, the Democrat-controlled House passed a bill called the Equality Act, extensive legislation that would add sexual orientation and transgender rights to be protected classes under the 1964 Civil Rights Act. It’s also not Constitutional, because Congress doesn’t have the authority under the Constitution to create such a bill, but since when has that stopped members from either party from doing whatever they want? By the way, Congress did not have the authority to pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act either, but if you point that out the leftists immediately accuse you of being a racist, because identity politics is more important than Constitutional law.
We have to divorce ourselves from whatever bill is in contention and look at the Constitutional process. Each time we ignore the Constitution we weaken it and this is how we have arrived at the point where most things passed by Congress and signed into law are not Constitutional.
The legislation, passed in a vote of 224-206, would amend federal civil rights laws to add protections for LGBTQ Americans in employment, education, housing, credit, jury service, etc. President Biden has called the bill “a critical step toward ensuring that America lives up to our foundational values of equality and freedom for all.” I don’t see why any of this was necessary. We already have laws for all of these things as protections for all Americans. LGBTQ people already have the right to sue if they are discriminated against. This isn’t civil rights, because they already have them as codified in law. These are “special rights” so that the Woke Supremacy feels good about themselves. This same bill was passed by the House two years ago and was blocked by a Republican Senate, but now the Democrats control both houses of Congress so they can push through anything they want, so long as every Democrat in the Senate votes in goose step with the Supremacy. The question now will the Democrats get rid of the filibuster because as it is right now they need 60 votes to be able to bring the bill up for a vote. Now you know why the Democrats keep pushing the idea that Republican members of Congress were involved in some insurrection by white nationalists on January 6. They are trying to shame GOP members of Congress into going along with any legislation they want to push. So far the only sucker I see who is falling for that is Liz Cheney (R-WY).
GOP members of Congress, being the only sane ones left, have fought against the bill on the grounds that it endangers biological women’s safety in that it states in the bill that “an individual shall not be denied access to a shared facility, including a restroom, a locker room, and a dressing room, that is in accordance with the individual’s gender identity.”
This bill also harms religious freedom, because it regulates religious nonprofits and it stipulates that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act doesn’t apply to claims under the Equality Act, even though it does. In fact, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act was created precisely because of tyrannical attacks like this against religious freedoms.
“We have passed it in the House before — the Equality Act, H.R. 5, to end discrimination against the LGBTQ community,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Thursday morning before the bill’s passing. “This time, it will be not only passed in the House but on a path to a signing at the White House. We’re very excited about that.”
Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) was the only Republican senator who co-sponsored the Equality Act back in 2019 and has said she will not co-sponsor the legislation this time around because of problems she has found in the bill.
On Thursday, Collins said to the Washington Blade, “There were certain provisions of the Equality Act which needed revision,” She added, “Unfortunately the commitments that were made to me were not [given] last year.” Of course not, because Democrats always lie about things they say they will do in the future for your considerations now.
Other Republicans have issues with the bill. For example, Representative Andrew Glyde (R-GA) has argued that the legislation would violate women’s right to privacy and safety in locker rooms and showers. What Glyde isn’t understanding is that these nutjobs in the Democratic Party, the so-called party of science, actually believe that men who put on dresses and identify as women are in reality real women. Therefore, they do not see a problem with men who still have penises wearing a dress being inside areas of privacy for women. It’s totally ridiculous, but here we are.
Glyde also said he has problems with provisions in the bill on things like cross-sex hormone medical treatments and surgeries for minors because he considers that child abuse. Any sane person would.
A powerhouse of fundraising for the left, with brilliant messaging, branding and PR, aimed at shaping public opinion, registering voters for ballot harvesting schemes, and getting voters out to the voting booths, is Planned Parenthood (PP).
PP makes massive wealth off of a co-mingling of federal taxpayer funds, and radical leftist utopian Community Organizing drives, which is filtered to the Democrat Party. The abortion provider thrives on the left’s obsessions with eradicating babies and they are surely not going to like the government passing a law that gives preborn people a second chance at life.
Life is not a choice that the left or their paymasters are going to like very much, and they are in charge of all three branches of Government at this time, but here it goes. Republicans introduce a bill to save human lives. People should contact their lawmakers if they agree.
John Paluska, in an article for the Daily Fodder, reported on the bill:
“Republicans in the house have introduced a new bill that would require Planned Parenthood and all other abortion clinics to tell women that the abortion pill is reversible, and HOW to reverse it. The bill, titled the “Second Chance At Life Act,” was introduced by more than 50 Representatives and would be a death blow to Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics that do not want to tell women there’s a way to reverse the procedure and often leave that information out if they are not required to disclose it.”
“(a) Requirement Of Compliance By Providers.—Effective 30 days after the date of enactment of the Second Chance at Life Act of 2021, any abortion provider in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, who knowingly performs any chemical abortion, shall comply with the requirements of this title.
“(b) Informed Consent.—Except in the case of a medical emergency described in section 3403, a chemical abortion involving the two drug process of dispensing mifepristone first and then misoprostol shall not be performed or induced or attempted to be performed or induced without the following:
“(1) The woman is informed, by telephone or in person, by the physician who is to perform the chemical abortion, by a referring physician, or by an agent of either physician at least 24 hours before the chemical abortion, that—
“(A) it may be possible to reverse the intended effects of a mifepristone-induced chemical abortion if the woman changes her mind but that time is of the essence; and
“(B) information on and assistance with reversing the effects of a mifepristone-induced chemical abortion is available on the website of the Department of Health and Human Services required by section 3405(b).
“(2) After the first drug involved in the two drug process is dispensed in a mifepristone-induced chemical abortion, the physician shall provide written medical discharge instructions to the pregnant woman which must include the statement:
‘Recent developing research has indicated that mifepristone alone is not always effective in ending a pregnancy. It may be possible to avoid, cease, or even to reverse the intended effects of a mifepristone-induced chemical abortion if the second pill has not been taken. Please consult with a health care professional immediately.’ .
The Democrats are out for blood. They have always been conniving but this time they are doing it right out in the open. They are in a panic. President Trump’s approval rating has soared to 59%, much higher than Biden’s.
They failed with impeachment and so they decided to put together a commission to write a report on the January 6th riot in Washington D.C.. But it is the leader of the commission that is drawing the most criticism. Retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré is an unabashed conservative hater and it is reflective of his view of conservatives. He called Sen Josh Hawley a rolled-up ball of s*^t. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson alerted his viewers Wednesday night of tweets from Honore:
“This little piece of s**t with his @Yale law degree should be run out of DC and Disbarred ASAP. These @Yale and @Harvard law grads is high order white privilege.”
YouTube has pulled the video and it can no longer be shown. But one of Josh Hawley commenting on Honore’s selection and here it is:
“He understands how to use force to achieve political objectives,” Carlson said. “And it seems like he’s being set up to use his military training against anyone who sees the world differently than he does. They’ll be reclassified as domestic terrorists. Who are these people and what threat do they pose?
Well, according to General Honoré, those threats include the Constitution and our Second Amendment. For real, he believes your right to defend yourself is dangerous. He said that, and we’re quoting here, quote, ‘We can’t permit Second Amendment rights at First Amendment protests.’ Really constitutional scholar are you? Imagine a public figure with a general in front of his name making that statement.
This is the guy Nancy Pelosi wants in charge of security. Honoré is not a fan of the First Amendment, either, by the way. On Twitter, he attacked this network, even told people to stop buying the we can’t use it profanity, the ‘crappy’ stocks of any company that advertises on Fox News talking to the stock price of advertisers. He retweeted posts accusing the social media site Parler of being, and I’m quoting now, 100% complicit in the Jan. 6 riot.”
What are the odds that Honore will write an unbiased honest report? About the same as whether Rosie O’Donnell can fit through the eye of a needle. Is this what we can expect for the next two years? If it is the Democrats better start manufacturing votes now for the 2022 midterm elections or they could see a red wave. What the Democrats have done so far and the promises of what they will do is probably behind the 18 point jump in Trump’s favorability rating.
On Monday night, Sean Hannity tore to shreds Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell on his show for the outrageous condemnation of former President Donald Trump after he was acquitted a second time during a rigged and highly unprofessional impeachment mess on Saturday.
McConnell voted to acquit Donald Trump and then proceeded to castigate him over the riot that happened at the Capitol on January 6. A lot of people feel that McConnell was trying to play to both sides of the aisle.
During his speech, McConnell accused Trump of being morally responsible for the riot that broke out and said that the only reason he voted to acquit the president was that it is unconstitutional to try a president who has already left office.
McConnell then doubled down writing on Monday, “There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone.”
How can people like McConnell, who has to have access to a television, not realize that it has already come out that the FBI gave warnings to him and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi days before the January 6 event that they had credible intelligence that there was going to be an attack with violence at the Capitol? How come neither Sgt at Arms for the House nor the Senate accepted help from the National Guard that was offered by President Trump says before January 6 and multiple times? According to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, the president offered up to 10,000 National Guard troops to protect that Capitol and the entire DC area, and each time his offers were rebuked.
“His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended,” he claimed.
McConnell said he had no ill will against the seven turncoat Republican senators who voted to convict Trump, but 74 million Americans who voted for Trump do.
Can we get something straight? Donald Trump did not incite the riot. There’s just too much evidence showing the contrary, and it’s worthless idiots like McConnell who lend credence to the hateful Democrats who are exploiting what took place at the Capitol on January 6 in order to demoralize Trump supporters. It’s not going to happen, because, despite the efforts of the Trump haters, they know what happened. They know Trump was not the cause of the riot. The FBI also arrested many leftists who were caught plotting and pre-planning the riot days before it happened. How come the Mitch McConnells of the world keep ignoring that?
Hannity ripped on “Republicans who have turned their backs on the former president,” during his show. He called on the carpet “sanctimonious” McConnell and the other seven Republican nitwits in the Senate who joined the Democrats in trying to convict Trump for allegedly inciting the riot on Capitol Hill.
“Where was John Thune (R-SD) and Mitch McConnell fighting against the biggest abuse of power corruption scandal in our history with Operation Crossfire Hurricane?” Hannity asked. And he’s right. There were some Republican heroes who tried to stop the never-ending onslaught against Trump from the minute he became president, guys like Reps. Devin Nunes (R-CA), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), but the majority of congressional Republicans let it happen. They did next to nothing to stop the lawlessness of Democrats who went after Trump in the most despicable ways.
“They were missing in action. Where’s the sanctimonious Mitch McConnell, John Thune, demanding that Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters — when is he going to give a speech on the Senate floor and hold those Democrats accountable for their incitement of insurrection and their insurrection-like language? The time is now coming for new leadership in the U.S. Senate.”
The Senate Republicans who voted to convict Trump that Hannity was talking about are Sens. Richard Burr (NC), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Bill Cassidy (LA), Susan Collins (ME), Mitt Romney (UT), Ben Sasse (NE), and Pat Toomey (PA). Tomey and Burr are retiring and Collins and Sasse just got reelected, but conservative Trump supporters have a long memory. Most of the useful idiots in that group are catching flack back home from their angry constituents.
Three of the Republican senators who voted to convict Trump during the impeachment trial have already been censured by the Republican Party in their states including Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, and Pat Toomey.
The House impeachment team violated the agreement made before the fake trial began and called a vote to call witnesses.
Five Republicans joined the Democrats on the vote that ended at 55-45. But, then Sen Ted Cruz dropped the MOAB and announced that they would call both Pelosi and Muriel Bo0weser to testify.
That scared the hell out of the Democrats that quickly backed off calling witnesses.
They could not afford to have Pelosi and Bowser testify because they would have gotten killed and on national TV.
President Trump offered to bring in 15,000 National Guard troops to make sure there would be no riots but he was refused multiple times. And remember, the FBI warned both of them it was likely to turn violent.
How could they explain that especially since it would be a pressure cooker to begin with?
Senator Ted Cruz: I think it is very likely that President Trump’s lawyers will call Nancy Pelosi. Nancy Pelosi is clearly a relevant witness to this matter. Speaker Pelosi can testify on when she knew about the threats to the Capitol, what she knew specifically. And in particular, she could testify, we heard already the House Sergeant of Arms turned down National Guard protection for the Capitol on January 6th because, of course, the optics. And I think Speaker Pelosi can testify on whether she made a decision based on optics, based on politics not to have additional protection at the Capitol to prevent the terrorist attack that played out.
