Mitt Romney, in an effort to shore up his liberal credentials, has offered up a new welfare plan that would pay families with children $350 a month each up to a maximum of $1,250.
Children up to five years old would receive $350 and from 6 to 17 would be $250 each and every month. There is a cap depending on your income level.
Individuals making over $200,000 and couples earning over $400,000 would see the amount they get shrunk by fifty dollars for every thousand dollars you make above the limit.
Romney claims it replaces other payments such as the child credit and would not increase the dent, but liberals always make that claim.
But, politically Romney has nothing to lose because he will never be reelected anyway. You can’t fool all of the people all of the time. The credit would be available to any child with a valid Social Security number. Families would be eligible for up to $15,000 dollars a year.
Mitt Romney is responsible for passing Romneycare in Massachusetts and other equally liberal policies. he was able to fool the voters in 2012 and he went on to be the second-worst GOP candidate ever just behind John McCain.
At least McCain had Sarah Palin but Romney took another liberal, Paul Ryan as a running mate. He lost in a landslide to slightly less liberal Barack Obama.
Romney’s plan would cut out Head-of-Household tax filing status, eliminating the Child and Dependent Care tax credit, abolishing Temporary Assistance to Needy Families benefits, and repealing the State and Local Tax deduction in the tax code.
This has no chance of passing as the Democrats want to eliminate the cap on deductions for state and local taxes, benefiting the rich by over $1 million dollars a year.
While Democrats generally support expanding welfare programs and government payments to families, they are not likely to support Romney’s plan because of the provisions eliminating tax credits they favor.
As part of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package proposed by President Joe Biden, Democrats want to boost the child tax credit from $2,000 to $3,600 and make it “fully refundable,” ensuring that parents who don’t owe taxes still receive a payment from the government. The Democrats also want the Internal Revenue Service to distribute the child tax credit refunds in advance every month, essentially creating a monthly government payment to families distributed by the IRS by manipulating the tax code.
Sen Mitt Romney is an embarrassment to the state that elected him. And no matter who runs against him when he is up for reelection, he will lose.
He may already have his opponent. Scott Baio, the actor is threatening to run against Romney after Romney’s latest attack on President Trump.
It could be worse. It could have come from someone with morals. Or it could have come from a Republican. Romney is neither.
My mama will not allow me to use the proper language to describe Mitt the Mutt. I guess he never recovered from the shellacking he got from Obama. He could have won that election but it would have required at least an ounce or two of cojones.
“Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the President has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election.”
“It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President.”
You do have to excuse Romney at least just a little. He doesn’t understand what it’s like for an elected office holder to fight for what’s right. Lord knows he never tried it. If I were the Republicans, I would force him to cross the aisle and hang out with his own kind.
“P.S. My wife is still waiting for her $2600 refund. Remember your wife canceled that Beverly Hills political luncheon fundraiser? But your campaign kept the money,” he added.
Baio received more than 8,000 retweets in support of his sentiment.
The actor made headlines in 2016 when he said that Nancy Mack, the wife of the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers rock band, assaulted him in front of his wife and children over his support of then-candidate Donald Trump.
In 2017 Baio apologized for retweeting a conspiracy theory claiming that the victims of the horrific Newtown massacre were actors participating in a government scheme to justify gun confiscation. He deleted it after the victim excoriated him for the baseless accusation in a Facebook post.
Senator Mitt Romney ((barely) R-UT) said that he will vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to be the next justice on the US Supreme Court. This is good news, since he was the only Republican to vote to convict the innocent President Donald Trump during the impeachment hearings for something that Joe Biden actually did when he was vice president.
On Thursday, Romney said in a statement, “After meeting with Judge Barrett and carefully reviewing her record and her testimony, I intend to vote in favor of her confirmation to the Supreme Court.” He continued, “She is impressive, and her distinguished legal and academic credentials make it clear that she is exceptionally well qualified to serve as our next Supreme Court justice.”
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. The part that most likely escapes the Utah senator is that this is considered news. Romney is so known for being a Trump hater that I honestly suspected he would join the Democrats by using their lame excuse that because they didn’t give a confirmation hearing to Merrick Garland they should do so for Amy Coney Barrett.
He added: “I am confident that she will faithfully apply the law and our Constitution, impartially and regardless of policy preferences.”
Senator Susan Collins ((barely) R-ME) still holds that she will not vote to confirm a nominee so close to the election, because she is in a fight for her seat after her Kavanaugh vote. I think it’s disgraceful when politicians put themselves before doing what’s right. Senator Lisa Murkowski ((barely) R-AK), has not revealed how she will vote. She’s done after this term of her career, so she doesn’t want to cause turmoil.
Barrett’s last day of questions by Senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee concluded Thursday, with the committee setting a vote on her nomination for October 22nd with the full Senate vote more-than-likely the following week. That’s if the Democrats don’t try to pull another stunt that resembles a petulant childish on the playground taking his ball and going home the way they did this week, with Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) crying about how Committee Chairman Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) went ahead with the hearing without a full quorum. I for one am pleased that Graham didn’t fall for that stunt. The rules for quorum were created so that one party couldn’t sneak something in with the other party not knowing about it, but if the Democrats intentionally stayed away when they showed up every other day, and knew that the hearing was scheduled, then I call bullschtein, and Senator Graham was correct to continue.
Last month, Romney said that he will vote for a nominee based on the nominee’s qualifications, not how close the hearing is to the election.
“My decision regarding a Supreme Court nomination is not the result of a subjective test of ‘fairness’ which, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder,” Romney said in his September statement. “It is based on the immutable fairness of following the law, which in this case is the Constitution and precedent. The historical precedent of election year nominations is that the Senate generally does not confirm an opposing party’s nominee but does confirm a nominee of its own.” See that? Mitt Romney can figure things out without resorting to the Democrat’s viewpoint. Who knew?
The Utah senator continued, saying, “The Constitution gives the President the power to nominate and the Senate the authority to provide advice and consent on Supreme Court nominees. Accordingly, I intend to follow the Constitution and precedent in considering the President’s nominee. If the nominee reaches the Senate floor, I intend to vote based upon their qualifications.”
Romney expanded on his logic in following up comments to the press:
“We may have a court that has a more conservative bent,” which is something different from what we’ve seen in recent decades, Romney said after his announcement. “But my liberal friends have over many decades gotten used to the idea of having a liberal court. And that’s not written in the stars.”
Wow, I have to commend the senator for that understanding.
He added: “It’s also appropriate for a nation that’s if you will center-right to have a court which reflects center-right points of view. Which again are not changing the law from what it states but instead following the law and following the Constitution.”
What Democrats have forgotten a long time ago is something that Judge Barrett this week reminded them, and that is that a justice’s job is not to rule in the way of his or her ideology, but to rule in the ideology of the Constitution and how the original meaning of each clause was written. The leftists on the court, including the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who Notorious ACB is going to replace once confirmed, rather than hold the law put up before them to the stands of the Constitution, tried to bend the Constitution to allow a bad law, favored by the Left, to stand. That won’t happen with a Justice Barrett, and it’s driving the Democrats crazy.
A senior GOP source has confirmed to the Gateway Pundit that Mitt Romney is the Senator leading the way on blocking the calling as witnesses, James Comey and John Brennan.
In an interview with Hugh Hewitt, Sen Ron Johnson indicated that at least one member of the committee he chairs is preventing him from subpoenaing James Comey and John Brennan. Unlike other Senate committees, Johnson’s committee has a Democratic majority 8-7 counting Mitt Romney. Little did we know that we dodged a bullet when Obama humiliated Romney in the 2012 election.
Hewitt tried to get Johnson to name names but he refused to do so. Romney, however cannot prevent Lindsey Graham and his Senate Intelligence Committee can call them to testify before that committee. I am sure they have plenty of questions for that duo.
“Romney was for impeachment. He has been against Trump every step of the way. Now he is obstructing going after the leakers and liars who went after Trump.”
Hewitt kept trying to get Johnson to name names but I guess he was protecting Romney, who should not have a single committee post. Mitt Romney has been a big disappointment to the Republican party and we should not wait for him to make it official and drum him out of the party ourselves. My biggest regret in life is that I worked to get Romney elected in 2012. I’m glad I lost that fight.
Romney was doomed in that election due to a severe shortage of cojones. He allowed Obama to attack at will and put up no defense or offense of his own.
Johnson said Republican resistance had delayed his effort to subpoena Blue Star Strategies, a Democratic public relations firm that did work for Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company that Hunter Biden served on the board of. He also cited the lengthy criminal investigations and the coronavirus pandemic for delaying his committee’s ability to get documents from the FBI, which he said were essential before seeking live testimony from central witnesses.
On Monday, former President Donald Trump fired another shot across the bows of the leadership of the Republican Party after it refused to stop using his name and his likeness with fundraising endeavors. They know that Trump is incredibly popular with the party faithful but with a few exceptions, the majority of them did absolutely NOTHING to help him when an election was being stolen from him right before the party faithful’s eyes.
Fed up with them not listening to him (imagine that) Trump put his foot down and issued a statement to his loyal supporters asking them to stop giving money to the Republican Party and instead send donations to a Political Action Committee that he created.
“No more money for RINOS,” (Republicans in name only) Trump said in a statement that was tweeted out by that bastion of Trump hate, the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman.
“They do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base — they will never lead us to Greatness. Send your donation to Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com,” Trump said. “We will bring it all back stronger than ever before!”
I received thousands of text messages and emails from Republicans asking for donations throughout the 2020 election cycle. I donated a lot of my money to Republican candidates, including Mitch McConnell to save the Senate. But once I saw that the RINOs, including Mitch McConnell, who hated Trump all along yet rode his coattails to victory, abandoned him in his hour of need when the 2020 election was stolen from him right before our eyes and did nothing to help. In fact, many of the RINOs to this day do more than just nothing, they insult him by joining the radical, thieving Democrats by referring to Trump’s arguments that massive election fraud took place as the Big Lie. They need to go, and I will never donate another dime to the GOP directly. I am so glad Trump did this.
The gesture came down after a lawyer for the Republican National Committee(RNC) responded Monday to a cease and desist letter from one of Trump’s attorneys about the fundraising campaign.
Justin Reimer, chief counsel at the RNC, replied that the RNC has “every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, and it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals.”
So the RINOs trashed our president as spreading the Big Lie when he tried to engage in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, but they will hide behind that argument when asked to no longer use Trump’s name and likeness to fundraise. That is your typical RINO, good only for themselves. What a bunch of weasels.
Trump’s attorneys had issued similar cease and desist demands to the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
While the issue of using Trump’s likeness and his name to fundraise continues to be battled publicly, Reimer tried to score political points by pointing out that Trump got the RNC to move part of the party’s Palm Beach donor retreat in April to his private club Mar-a-Lago in Florida, referring to the agreement in his response letter that Ronna McDaniel, the RNC chairwoman, had spoken to Trump over the weekend and got his approval for their use of his name and likeness.
Again, that is the epitome of a RINO. Reimer tried to make it seem like Trump was being a hypocrite by coming out against some Republicans for using his name and likeness while allowing the RNC to move an event to his club. The whole point is that McDaniel asked for permission and it is well-known that the RINOs in the party, Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, John McCain, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins,Ben Sasse, and others hated the former president even though he governed conservatively put getting done many of the things they claimed to support for years but somehow never got done.
Of course, the Trump haters immediately attacked when they got the news of the new PAC, claiming he was going to steal the money for himself. What a bunch of morons. He legally created a political action committee, which is bound by campaign finance laws. To even suggest that the former president, who donated his presidential salary every year of his presidency, and who clearly doesn’t need the money, would keep the money for himself makes one an imbecile in politics.
“Trump has finally built the Death Star of swindling. #ANewGrift,” said MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, the guy who looks like the kid with the banjo up on the bridge.
“He didn’t start his own party, which is complicated to do and be competitive, but Trump is trying to set himself up as the place where money for Republicans should go as opposed to GOP committees”
A powerful, politically influential billionaire has been accused of running the most complex tax fraud scheme in U.S. history, and it is one that benefited several RINO groups and causes. The recipients of those funds need to be investigated for potential corruption and fraud.
“Robert Brockman, the former CEO of Ohio-based software company Reynolds & Reynolds, was charged in October with running a $2 billion tax fraud scheme,” CNBC reported on Friday.
In his article, GOP groups quiet as billionaire donor stands accused of running biggest tax fraud scheme ever, Brian Schwartz reported:
“Brockman’s most recent contributions to Republican committees came in 2017, ahead of the congressional midterm elections the following year, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Representatives of the organizations that are still active did not respond when asked whether they plan to refund or give the total amount of contributions away to charity in the wake of the allegations. The 2017 contributions had yet to be reported in the media.”
In 2011, a subsidiary of his company, Universal Computer Systems, Inc., gave $50,000 to The Restoring Prosperity Fund, a super PAC supporting Rick Perry, who ran against Romney for the 2012 Republican nomination.
SECRET EMAILS AND CODES
Wall Street Journal reported:
“Prosecutors allege Mr. Brockman set up an encrypted email system to communicate with those involved in his offshore structure. They referred to each other using such fishing-related code names such as “Permit,” for Mr. Brockman, and “Steelhead,” for Mr. Smith, according to the indictment; the IRS was “The House.”
The IRS was alerted more than 20 years ago to Mr. Brockman’s offshore activities as a result of the litigation by his former salesmen.”
LEFT LEANING PAUL RYAN NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED
According to reports, Paul Ryan, who constantly betrays the people who supported him by supporting left leaving causes, is a major benefactor of Brockman’s.
In 2017, Brockman donated more than $80,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, the political campaign organization for House Republicans. The GOP went on to lose the House to the Democrats, with Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., becoming speaker.
“Brockman also gave more than $100,000 to entities linked to former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, including a six-figure check to the Wisconsin lawmaker’s now-defunct joint fundraising committee. The Brockman NRCC donations were attributed on the filings to Ryan’s joint fundraising committee, which at the time was helping raise money for the Republican campaign arm.
MITT ROMNEY GOT BROCKMAN MONEY-HE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED
“Brockman, through companies he controlled, also heavily financed a super PAC backing Mitt Romney for president in 2012,” according to a report by Mother Jones.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Brockman:
“Mr. Brockman learned of the tax investigation in June 2016, according to prosecutors. Soon after, a former UCS executive involved in the offshore structure, Don Jones, died. Mr. Tamine made several trips to the home of Mr. Jones’s widow in Mississippi to destroy documents and computer drives, according to Mr. Tamine’s account in one of his performance reviews filed with the court.”
“Those efforts meant that we could rest easy that any attempt to search Don’s home would be fruitless,” Mr. Tamine reported to his boss, according to the court filing.”
“Mr. Brockman has pleaded not guilty to 39 criminal counts, including tax evasion, wire fraud, money laundering, and evidence destruction. He and his attorneys didn’t respond to requests for comment.”
Prosecutors allege the bulk of the tax evasion stemmed from profits Mr. Brockman made from investments with Vista Equity Partners, a private-equity firm he helped launch in 2000 and which now manages $73 billion in funds dedicated to software investments.”
Republican Paul Ryan is one of the career politicians who people want to see leave Washington DC because of the insincerity with which he has conducted his life as a public servant. Seen climbing over political ‘corpses’ like Mitt Romney, Ryan is clearly in pursuit of his own wealth and bitterly clinging to the power held on to from the ‘Obama years.’
“Former House Speaker Paul Ryan will hold a fundraiser for embattled House GOP Conference chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) at the end of March, an invitation obtained by Breitbart News shows,” Matthew Boyle wrote for Breitbart news.
“You mean to tell me that a pro-war and pro-amnesty RINO who is hated by Republican voters is supporting another pro-war and pro-amnesty RINO who is also hated by Republican voters? I’m shocked! Liz Cheney and Paul Ryan are a match made in swamp heaven!!!” Don. Trump Jr wrote in response to the news of Ryan’s power grab.
“The fundraiser, a “virtual event,” is slated for Thursday, March 25 at 11 a.m. eastern. The invitation asks donors to give “suggested contributions” of $2,900 to “attend,” or $5,800 to be a “co-host” of the Ryan-Cheney event,” Boyle wrote.
So Ryan is attempting to defend and enrich another RINO, Cheney, who comes from a family of political vultures, and someone who voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump, putting her on a shortlist of 10 Republicans who will be facing the wrath of America First political movement, directed by none other than Trump, himself.
Elections in 2022 are going to be brutal for this reason. Whoever remains in DC of the RINO establishment in the party will face massive blowback from the people. But Ryan appears to be holding on to the ghost of when he could trash the American people.
“Another interesting detail from the fundraising invitation is that the “Liz Cheney for Wyoming” campaign address to which donors are asked to make checks payable is in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. The fact that Cheney’s campaign is headquartered in the nation’s capital rather than in the state she purports to represent is something her primary challengers will almost surely use against her,” Boyle wrote in his article, Exclusive — Paul Ryan Plots Fundraiser for Liz Cheney: ‘Royalty in the Swamp.’
Ryan lets the world know that he is taking on Populist President Trump, who is currently seen as the front runner for 2024 by many potential voters.
Ryan, a RINO with a far-left radical activist wife, and the number of foreign entanglements has driven the GOP to the left for a long time. Clearly, he is not happy with Trump’s push for America First policies like economic nationalism, which would make America a superpower and allow citizens to build wealth and opportunities.
FLASHBACK TO RYAN’S STUPID 2015 “SIGNAL BEARD”
The last thing Ryan the RINO did was before he was voted out of office, taunted Republican voters with his beard and the coyish little boy stories he told the media about his childish games.
Ryan came out of the closet as a leftist bootlicker in 2015, after years of speculation and frustration over his lies in front of the camera.
Recall when Ryan grew a beard to cover up his betrayal of the American people in a massive shift of wealth for embattled Americans? That is when Ryan played games with the media showing off his “Muslim Bead” with glee.
From a 2015 article in the Week.com, “Not everyone is thrilled about Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan working with Democrats on a trillion-dollar package of spending and tax cuts. And, as The Hill points out, some critics have taken it pretty far, questioning if Ryan’s facial hair isn’t actually a clue to his motivations.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?creatorScreenName=Jee_vuh&dnt=true&embedId=twitter-widget-0&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=671438276537024513&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Ftheweek.com%2Fspeedreads%2F596328%2Fconservative-critics-attack-paul-ryan-references-muslim-beard&siteScreenName=theweek&theme=light&widgetsVersion=e1ffbdb%3A1614796141937&width=550px
Now The End Begins, a website that describes itself as being “unashamedly Conservative in our thinking” but not “anti-Arab,” wrote that “Paul Ryan is 100 percent in line with Obama’s liberal agenda, he is 100 percent against Donald Trump, and he has just authorized billions to be spent to bring more Muslim migrants into the United States. And, oh yeah, he suddenly has a full beard.”
However, one commenter using the name Raymond Andrews wasn’t so sure about that logic, replying to the article by asking, “Do you think everyone with a beard is either a Jew or a Muslim? I graduated last December from Louisiana State University. One of the degrees I received was in Forestry. Every male in my Forestry major had a full beard.” Jeva Lange
RYAN WAS SO PLEASED WITH HIMSELF- REMEMBER THE BEARD?
So this time, Ryan thinks he will lead the insurrection of the Republican party and against Americans by enriching Cheney and the RINO establishment. Good. Ryan’s endorsement is making clear who exactly our problems are in DC.
It makes it easier to find them and vote them out.
John Brennan is a weird guy because he seems to really love to be humiliated in public on MSNBC, and Monday, he gave lispy Nicole Wallace the opportunity to twist him up. At the same time, he rejected his own gender and pigmentation level as if it was something he had any control over. Wallace busted out in a huge laugh.
Most people don’t like John Brennan because he is a weird, creepy, Jihadi- Communist with some other heavy character problems, not because he was born a very pale-colored male.
However, he took to the airwaves to grovel, and his better, Nicole Wallace, laughed at him while he did it.
It is often difficult to follow the conversation due to Wallace and Brennan’s obvious speech impediments.
Here is a quick transcript:
Wallace: There was great news reporting about the investigation to a police officer. It renders, you know, at best, hypocritical at worst cynical and false. Any notion that the Republicans care (chuckle) about the lives and safety of law enforcement?
Brennan: Well, I must say that I am increasingly embarrassed to be a White male…
Wallace: [BIG LAUGH]
Brennan: these days from what I see of my own While males saying, but it just shows that with very few exceptions that like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, they are so few Republicans in Congress who value truth, honesty, and integrity so they will continue to gaslight the country the way that Donald Trump did and the fact that his had such security and safety implications for the American public and the members of Congress, again as Claire said it is just a disgusting of craven politics that really should have no place in the United States in 2021.
Isn’t that an interesting conversation for the people who supported the defund the police movement? And what about pronouns? And does Liz Cheney identify as male now? And what is with the racist and sexist attacks against their political opponents? If this crazy talk were put out there by Republicans, the drama would be endless.
Recall in 2016, after President Donald J. Trump won, the hysteria over whether Hillary R. Clinton would face any scrutiny at all for things that she was accused of doing with her computer, public office, and emails, if true, we obviously high crimes.
Yet, because it appeared to be political revenge, she never faced a moment of scrutiny at all from Trump, the media, or anyone else.
So, the left declared most of America is guilty of a crime because of who they support.
This clip shows the deranged logic the left is using to frame the narrative that Trump and his supporters are violent and crazy.
They are talking about serious grown-up issues, but they sound like children.
Watching this CNN clip is sort of like watching a tryout for a middle school drama. They do not attempt to develop their story; they laugh at the “poop” humor and call it a show.
All “White” Trump supporters or anyone else who supported Trump is guilty of everything terrible the left can imagine to the left.
And now every one of their shows will use that as their central theme.
The double standards are now so clear that they show how utterly ridiculous the left really is, and we should all be laughing at them. We should laugh at everything they say and do all of the time.
Something happened to the Republican Party after Donald Trump came along. For decades registered Republicans across the country fought to keep the liberal Democrats at bay hoping upon hope that Republican policies would win the day and the American government would start behaving the way the Founding Fathers intended them to behave once again.
But alas, it was not to be, because there are too many fake Republican RINOs – an acronym meaning “Republicans In Name Only” – elected to office who want nothing more than to be loved by the media and the Democrats. John McCain (dead), Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Jeff Flake (gone), Lisa Murkowski, you know the types, they vote against the party to make it appear that they’re bold and principled by standing up to the mean Republicans and side with the Democrats. The Democrats on the other hand always stick together whether out of fear or they worked like robots for so long they forget that they are supposed to vote for what’s right for the country. I’m not all that concerned about the Democrats. We know what we get with them.
It’s the RINOs we need to worry about. Worse than Democrats, we often rely on their votes to pass fundamental reforms to the system, and I’,m getting sick and tired of having to worry about what a pompous ass like Romney would do when it comes to certain things. Wouldn’t it be much better if we got rid of the RINOs and replaced them with solid conservatives who love the Constitution and would never side with the socialist party on the other side of the aisle?
Former President Donald Trump thinks so as well, and on Sunday he revealed how he plans to target those RINO Republicans who supported his second impeachment.
When the House impeached President Trump back in January, they charged him with “incitement of insurrection,” and ten House Republicans joined the Democrats by supporting their radical effort, including Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY), who is the third highest-ranking Republican in the House.
The trend of stupidity continued in the Senate as a group of Republican RINO Senators joined forces with the lunatic liberals and voted to convict and remove President Trump from office even though he had already left office and even though the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court did not preside because even he knew the whole impeachment sham was a real fustercluck. Fortunately, the Senate did not reach the 67 votes that were needed to set such horrible precedence.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida on Sunday, Trump shredded his RINO opponents and vowed he is going to actively campaign against them. It’s not a get evenism ploy on Trump’s part. He understands how RINOs bring harm to the cause of liberty, how their selfish actions of “look at me” politics hurt the American people.
“I’m announcing that I will be actively working to elect strong, tough, and smart Republican leaders,” Trump said, and the CPAC crowd started chanting “USA! USA! USA!”
In fact, Trump claimed that RINOs will “destroy the Republican Party and the American worker and will destroy our country itself.”
“Now more than ever is the time for tough, strong, and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel. We need strong leadership. We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they have ever shown for standing up to Democrats, the media, and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country,” Trump said.
“Instead of attacking me and more importantly the voters of our movement, top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy in opposing Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats,” Trump declared.
And they never do. When was the last time you heard any of them take the initiative to stand up against the Democrats on any one of their goofy and dangerous policy proposals? It just doesn’t happen. They may sometimes vote against Democrat bills, but they remain quiet leading up to the vote. In fact, the only time you really see a RINO get vocal is when they are either trashing Trump, Trump supporters, or the American people who disagree with them.
Trump named some Republican politicians he said he will campaign against.
“The Democrats don’t have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey, and in the House, Tom Rice [of] South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez. That’s another beauty. Fred Upton, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Peter Meyer, John Katko, David Valadao. And of course the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney. How about that? The good news is in her state, she’s been censured, and in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I’ve ever seen. So hopefully they’ll get rid of her with the next election.”
“Get rid of them all,” Trump declared.
I’m sorry, but there is no other way. The Democrats stick together to fight for socialism and it’s high time the Republicans have a party in DC that fights together in full strength to push for liberty, less government, lower taxes. It’s time the GOP stands for America First where working-class families get to live better lives instead of politicians in the DC swamp.
