America had to endure the “defund the police” and “abolish the police” movements to the point where chowderhead Democrat politicians who sit on city councils actually voted to do so, only to be reminded later on with skyrocketing crime rates that police are the reason why there is a civil society at all and that it breaks down pretty quickly when you stand in the way of community policing. This is why what has been going on at a college in Minnesota should be labeled as reckless endangerment.
A member of the University of Minnesota’s student government body was nailed on video urging her fellow student government members to make the lives of police officers “hell” by placing phony phone calls for help. She was asking them to fabricate crime hoaxes.
Lauren Meyers serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Minnesota Student Association (MSA) and serves as the co-chair of the Office for Student Affairs Mental Health committee. She is studying Finance and Arabic and her personal pronouns according to the university website are she/her/hers. My personal pronouns are this/is/dumb.
During a video conference call with other members of the MSA, Meyers urged them to come up with ways to “annoy the s*** out of” campus police. Because that’s a great way to run student government. Instead of co-chairing a student mental health committee, Ms. Meyers should be the subject of it. In the immortal words of CNN’s Very Jake Tapper, “What was she thinking?”
During the video call, another student government member asked Meyers, “When you say disrupt UMPD, what exactly do you mean by that?”
Meyers responded saying, “Make their lives hell. Annoy the s*** out of them. Like, use up their resources, make their officers show up to something.”
Here it is. We received a copy of the video that was deleted from Reddit.#UMN Student Association Rep Lauren Meyers advocates disrupting #UMPD police to "make their lives hell, annoy the sh*t out of them, use up their resources, make their officers show up to something." #MNpic.twitter.com/DxQD4b0aDE
The city of Minneapolis has had enough problems with policing after the death of George Floyd so you would think that Myers, who is in a university position that has a responsibility to the entire student body, would understand that reporting hoax crimes for police to chase their tails around the wind, takes them away from real situations where fellow Minnesotans need the police’s help. If a neighborhood cop is responding to a phony phone call for help, he or she is not going to be available to help the little old lady whose purse just got snatched or to catch the guy who just robbed a liquor store.
A joint statement by the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association and Law Enforcement Labor Services was released on Tuesday with police unions calling for an investigation into the substance of what was said in the video, and they reminded people that making false 911 calls is a felony.
“Minnesota law prohibits using emergency calls to report a false emergency or crime, and claims that lead to serious injury or death is a felony publishable by 10 years imprisonment and/or a maximum fine of $20,000,” the letter reads.
Meyers should be expelled from the university for suggesting to put fellow students and residents in the surrounding communities in jeopardy. But nothing will happen because, you know.
Brian Peters, the Executive Director of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association added, “Actively planning to thwart UMPD by generating false calls for help is insulting to the overwhelming majority of the campus community that rely on public safety services.”
“Last month the campus community had 13 incidents of aggravated assault, 52 burglaries, 22 car thefts, 4 sexual assaults, numerous thefts, and a murder on or near campus,” Peters continued. “We’re frustrated that elected student leaders would purposefully choose to stir further division to make the campus less safe.”
Jim Mortenson, Executive Director of the Law Enforcement Labor Services Executive Director said, “Everyone deserves to be safe, and advocating to impede police from assisting victims of crime is mindboggling.”
But it is understandable. When you have morons like Representative Ilham Omar (D-MN) making public statements after the George Floyd riots when the city council threw police under the bus and they stopped showing up for work that the Minneapolis police were unwilling to work and she spread lies that the city council did not make any changes to the police department. At that time, the city council had already voted to get rid of the police department. On June 12 the city council voted unanimously to support their prior pledge to abolish the police causing a massive exodus of cops.
The police unions called for an outside agency to “conduct a criminal investigation into this incident to determine if charges are warranted.”
Does anyone think the Democrats who run that city are going to lift a finger to help understand something that would hurt cops?
Meyers made her comments as the MSA were discussing a letter the student government body sent to Joan Gabel, the University of Minnesota president demanding University of Minnesota Police Department Chief Matt Clark resign.
This is where it gets crazy. The letter accuses Clark of failing to increase campus safety and wellness for students of color and allowed “utilization of UMPD as a physical arm of the oppressive state to subjugate and silence community members.”
This is our world today. Woke progressives want you to believe that police came up with a program to increase campus safety only for white students or that they intentionally ignored reasons for having to increase campus safety for black students. Did you ever hear the story of the boy who cried wolf?
In the letter, these little contemptible students threatened “direct actions” if “our demands are not met.”
“We are two members of the Minnesota Student Association (MSA) Executive Board and we wholeheartedly denounce the comments that were made during the April 14, 2021 Executive Board meeting regarding police interference on campus,” said students Andrew Knuppel and Morgan McElroy. “We call upon our fellow student leaders who have stayed silent over the last 72 hours to denounce the comments made in the clip that’s been widely circulating in the media.”
Good for them, but don’t be surprised if those two are kicked off the MSA for being too rational.
“To achieve any progress on critical campus issues such as police reform and campus safety, elected student leaders should strive to engage with administrators and campus law enforcement collaboratively,” the two members added. “The public comments made by our colleague, unintended or otherwise, have cast a dark shadow on what should be a constructive dialogue among elected student government leaders, the student body, administration, and other stakeholders.”
“The University respects the autonomy of the Minnesota Student Association as an independent governance organization for undergraduate students, including the autonomy of its membership to speak freely,” a school spokesperson told Alpha News. “However, in this instance, the University unequivocally disagrees with the ideas expressed about disrupting UMPD’s daily work. These ideas are illegal and would directly conflict with ongoing efforts to keep our campus community safe.”
So far, there is no word about disciplinary actions taken against Meyers. She needs to go.
Who in America doesn’t know who Mike Lindell is, the CEO of MyPillow, a company he built from scratch to become a powerhouse in the pillow industry?
Lindell was a huge supporter of former President Donald Trump because Trump was a president who understood business and better yet, he understood how Washington, DC stifles economic growth and causes many businesses to fail with high taxes and job-crushing regulations. Lindell saw in Trump a man who loves America and loves the American people and knew that when the government gets off the people’s back, ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

Following the 2020 election fiasco (I’ll keep it at that) Lindell set out to prove that something nefarious happened during the election that caused Trump’s defeat. He went and hired a bunch of attorneys along with technical and data experts to analyze 2020 voter data, and that’s when his problems began.
What you may not have heard is that Mike Lindell had to go into hiding and has not been able to go back to his home in Minnesota for over two months because of death threats he has received. He said he has moved around to what he referred to as “undisclosed locations” for his safety.
On “The Domenick Nati Show” last month, Lindell said that he was living in another state over concerns for his safety.
“I absolutely move around to undisclosed locations,” he said.
“I haven’t been back to Minnesota, and anybody out there that is looking for me, I haven’t been back there in two months,” he said. “I can’t go back there.”
Lindell added that he wasn’t about to put himself or others in jeopardy.
“If they’re capable of what they’re doing out there to destroy a company and destroy things to cancel people out, I guess I’m not going to go there, make myself vulnerable out there,” he said.
Lindell said he plans to cancel “cancel culture.” He has hired teams of investigators to look into who is behind trying to cancel him and his company.

Lindell’s personal social media accounts were banned from most if not all social media platforms. They wanted to silence him. Sound familiar? Then they banned MyPillow’s official social media accounts.
Liberals started a boycott movement against Lindell and MyPillow which in turn sparked a buycott movement by conservatives who know that Lindell is simply trying to get to the truth.
Lindell said so far 25 big-box retailers have pulled MyPillow products due to fears of boycotts against them. He said he told the retailers that it was bots and trolls who said they would boycott retailers that stocked his products and that it wasn’t a real grassroots movement.
To date, his company lost $65 million.
With no social media accounts to speak freely online, Lindell decided to create his own social media platform, and he called it frankspeech.com.
“This is gonna be a platform like no other, it’s kinda like a YouTube -Twitter combination.”
Frankspeech.com is going to be a true free speech platform where people can go and speak their minds without worrying about being censored. Lindell understands that free speech is necessary to keep us as a free country. Democracy dies when one whole side is silenced and frankspeech.com is one solution.
If you would like to support Mike Lindell, visit MyPillow.com and use the Promo Code: TRUMP2020 for great savings on MyPillow products.
Lindell has said that the companies that continue to carry his MyPillow products are “thriving.” That’s what buycotts do when you support someone you believe in. The MyPillow CEO said that he had to expand his workforce as many customers have been buying his products directly through the MyPillow website.
Mike is an American patriot, and he needs our support now more than ever. Everyone in my family has a MyPillow pillow and we really do love them. Visit the mypillow.com website and don’t forget to use the promo code TRUMP2020.
60 Minutes interviewer Scott Pelley asked why the prosecution didn’t charge white former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin with a hate crime for the death of Floyd, a black man. It was a ridiculous question because there was no evidence of a hate crime the whole time Chauvin’s knee was on Floyd’s neck. But being 60 Minutes, which is part of the Fake News industry, Pelley had to try to stir the pot and make things racial, which is what the media always does.
The progressive AG responded with an admission that there was no evidence to support a hate crime. Wait, what?
“I wouldn’t call it that because hate crimes are crimes where there’s an explicit motive and of bias,” Ellison said. “We don’t have any evidence that Derek Chauvin factored in George Floyd’s race as he did what he did.”
So then why did every Democrat, every mainstream news media outlet, Hollywood, academia, pretty much every human being on the planet, including the ones who live in those little mud huts, say it was because of racism?
Ellison said, “In our society, there is a social norm that killing certain kinds of people is more tolerable than other kinds of people.” He added, “The fact is that we know, through housing patterns, through employment, through wealth, through a whole range of other things, so often people of color, black people end up with, uh, harsh treatment from law enforcement. And other folks, doing the exact same thing just don’t.”
That is a lie. Not all black people get treated the same way by police either. It has nothing or very little to do with an officer not liking the person’s race. Otherwise, how does Ellison explain that most black people who are arrested are not killed by police? If a white suspect were to resist arrest with force, I can guarantee you that the cops would throw his rear end down on the ground and not handle him with kid gloves as well.
Ellison continued. “If an officer doesn’t throw a white neurologist to the ground, and doesn’t sit on top of his neck, is he doing it because this is a fellow white brother? No. He’s doing it because he thinks this is an important person and if I treat them badly somebody’s going to ask me about this. This person probably has lawyers. He probably knows the governor, he has connections. I can look at the way he’s dressed, the way he talks, he’s probably ‘somebody.'”
What Ellison said is despicable. I call bullschtein! In all likelihood, the reason a cop doesn’t throw a neurologist to the ground is that the neurologist didn’t resist arrest, didn’t start physically attacking the officer, didn’t try to use a weapon against the officer. The Minnesota AG making such a statement like this about [white] police officers is the height of racism. He stereotyped white police officers and isn’t that the definition of racism, to stereotype people based on a class they belong to? What total garbage. I can guarantee you if Keith Ellison himself was being stopped by police, wearing his best prosecutor’s suit, and he started cursing at the officers, began physically resisting arrest, maybe tried to start a fight to keep the officers from cuffing him, you’re damn right he’s going to be thrown to the ground.
Hear something you may not know about. Years ago, activists and community organizers complained about how black people were treated differently by cops than white people. One of the results of the committee that heard the arguments was to come up with many ways to standardize how police treat people during an arrest. If everyone under specific circumstances during an arrest is treated the same way, then there is no bias. Makes sense? One of those ways was if a suspect was getting physical when trying to resist being arrested, the officers were to get the suspect down on the ground because when a suspect is on the ground and police cuff him in a prone position; it ensures that the police don’t get hurt, that innocent bystanders don’t get hurt, and that the suspect himself doesn’t get hurt.
Last week the jury – half people of color and half white – came out with its verdict of guilty on all three charges, or “Please don’t hurt us.” I say that because the jury even found Chauvin guilty for 3rd Degree which is the equivalent of blindly shooting a gun into a crowd, and there was no way to tie what Chauvin did to something like that.
Our media made sure that everyone alive knew that the reason George Floyd died at the hands of Minneapolis police was because of racism, and that’s why Ellison’s admission that race was not a factor in the case so stunning.
“The whole world sees this as a white officer killing a black man because he is black, and you’re telling me that there’s no evidence to support that?” Pelley stated with apparent bewilderment. I mean, why not? He’s a member of the media, so maybe he believed their own nonsense.
Here’s the one question Pelley never asked. If you knew the case had no evidence that racism was a factor, why did you allow the country to burn all last summer? The death of George Floyd ushered in the racist Critical Race Theory, emboldened the Marxist group Black Lives Matter, allowed Democrats and other progressives to justify violence in Democrat-run cities, changed school curriculums, allowed the race hustlers to make racist accusations like America is systemically racist. Why did Elisson remain silent? I would have loved for the boot-licking Scott Pelley to ask that question.
Dan Bongino often says on his great podcast show that the Republicans are not the answer to all of your problems, but the Democrats most certainly are the cause of all of your problems.
Blatant hypocrisy flourishes among the Democratic Party elites, and they never really had to care about getting caught because they have an entire sympathetic mainstream news media that stopped reporting news a long time ago that runs interference for them.
Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) recently traveled to Hennepin County, Minnesota and told protesters that if the jury on the form Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin’s murder trial didn’t come back with the verdict in her words, “Guilty, guilty, guilty” they needed to stay out in the streets and “get more confrontational.”
There are now documents that show the California Democrat asked for police protection during her trip. The travel logs that were published by Townhall show Waters asked for protection from US Capitol Police for her trip from the DC swamp to Brooklyn Center, describing the trip as a “moderate” risk factor.

So the woman who constantly trashes police as if all cops are bad and wants to defund the police asked for police protection. So it’s only you and me who won’t get police protection, but Waters and the other political elites will as blatant hypocrisy continues to flourish.
Waters told a crowd of protesters on Saturday that she will accept no other option than a “guilty, guilty, guilty” verdict for Chauvin, who had been charged with third-degree murder, second-degree murder, and manslaughter. Chauvin pleaded not guilty to all charges. The jury convicted Chauvin on all three charges Tuesday afternoon.
“We’re looking to see if all of the talk that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd, if nothing does not happen, then we know that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice,” Waters said.
Waters’ inciting rhetoric was criticized by presiding Judge Peter Cahill who advised Chauvin’s defense attorney after declining to declare a mistrial claiming her comments could have prejudiced the jury.
“I’m aware of the media reports. I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational,” the judge said. “But you can submit the press articles about that. This goes back to what I’ve been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function.”
Cahill also asked that elected officials to stop commenting on the pending case.
“I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so I think is abhorrent, but I don’t think it has prejudiced this, with additional material that would prejudice this jury.”
Maxine Waters and a majority of members of her party gave up respecting our Constitution a long time ago. Just listen to their words and watch their actions. They only invoke it when a clause here or there is useful in their purpose to destroy it.
After being pressed on Cahill’s statement about her comments potentially being grounds for an appeal, Waters said, “Oh no, no they didn’t.”
Republicans also criticized Waters for her interfering in the trial.
Greene filed the resolution after pressing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to expel Waters on Sunday, accusing the California congresswoman of being a “criminal” for inciting violence with her comments after she crossed state lines to join Black Lives Matter protesters in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota for the accidental fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright.
On Tuesday, New York City Police Commissioner Dermot Shea had some words for Waters over her comments.
“I think it’s incredibly reckless. I even have stronger feelings but I’ll keep them to myself,” Commissioner Shea said.
Lock her up! Just a few hours after Maxine Waters, a placeholder in the House, told them rioters in Brooklyn Center that they needed to be more confrontational in that Minneapolis suburb, there was a drive by shooting at the national Guard troops. In legal terms that is inciting to riot. If it is incitement for President Trump telling people to march peacefully to the Capitol then telling people tom be more confrontational is definitely incitement.
The drive by shooting just hours after Waters instructing people to be more violent speaks for itself. The feds are investigating incitement by President Trump. Do you think they will open one on Waters? No way. She enjoys liberal privilege. It’s only a crime if a Republican says to march peacefully, but it is not a crime to tell people to be more confrontational that leads to a drive by shouting at the National Guard.
The 82-year-old California congresswoman broke the curfew as she was instructing the troops to become more violent if police officer, Derek Chauvin is found innocent. This should also be investigated as jury intimidation. You are telling them that their verdict of innocent would lead to riots. That creates a lot of pressure ion them especially if their names become public.
Already a witness in the trial had his home vandalized with a severed pig’s head and blood. There is not a thing them domestic terrorists will not do, so I imagine that is a huge worry for the jurors.
Local news station WCCO reports that the Minnesota National Guard said its members, along with Minneapolis police officers, were “providing neighborhood security” near Penn and Broadway avenues when someone fired shots from a white SUV.
The shooting took place shortly after 4 a.m.
The shooting occurred on or about 4:19 a.m., as a light-colored SUV fired several shots at an @MinnesotaOSN security team providing neighborhood security. No team members were seriously injured.
Two members of the guard had minor injuries. One of them was taken to the hospital with cuts from shattered glass.
“I am relieved to know none of our Guardsmen were seriously injured,” said Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard . “This event highlights the volatility and tension in our communities right now. I ask for peace as we work through this difficult time.”

On Monday, reporters berated Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Police Chief Tim Gannon for using the term “riot” to describe the violence that took place Sunday night after the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright by a veteran police officer. They complained he used the word riot even though Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington reported that twenty businesses were broken into at the city’s Shingle Creek shopping center.
We reported that after news reports of the shooting were viewed, along with videos posted on social media of the incident, violence broke out in the Minneapolis suburb, and then Chief Gannon released body camera footage of the event and suggested that the shooting was a tragic mistake by the officer who thought she was grabbing her Taser but by mistake grabbed her firearm. After Wright broke free from the officer trying to cuff him and jumped back in his car to attempt to drive away, the other officer thought she was firing a Taser but instead shot Wright as he tried to drive off in his car.
It’s crazy that the media was shocked that Gannon referred to the violence as a riot when they weren’t there when protesters outside the BCPD building grew violent and numerous rioters began throwing frozen sodas, rocks, bricks, and other objects at police officers. It was like they had the blunt objects-turned-weapons ready to go for the next uprising.
The reporters got triggered during Monday’s press conference in the way Gannon described the things he witnessed overnight.
“What was your decision to issue a dispersal order while they were peacefully protesting in front of the police station?” one reporter asked also later citing that “CO2 canisters and gas,” were used.
“Just so that everybody’s clear, I was front and center at the protest, at the riot,” Gannon started out.
“Don’t do that,” one reporter interrupted.
“There was no riot,” another pushed back.
“It was,” Gannon shot back, standing his ground. “The officers that were putting themselves in harm’s way were being pelted with frozen cans of pop, they were being pelted with concrete blocks. And yes, we had our helmets on and we had other protection and gear but an officer was injured, hit in the head with a brick … so we had to make decisions. We had to disperse the crowd because we cannot allow our officers to be harmed.”
Brooklyn Center Police Chief Gannon: "I was front and center… at the riot."

Can you imagine just ten years ago watching reporters argue with a police chief about the definition of a riot? They were not there to report the news; they were there to push the same old narrative that a white cop shot and killed an unarmed black man just to murder him. Some of these clowns even likened the incident to what happened to George Floyd. This incident had absolutely nothing whatsoever in common with the Floyd incident in Minneapolis. But that will not stop these activists who claim to be reporters from spreading misinformation to fit their narrative.
Some in the press appeared to be upset that was an accident. They wanted blood on the streets. Do you doubt me? Just look at the headlines over the Derrick Chauvin trial. The headlines are straight out of the prosecutor’s mouth without anything whatsoever being reported about the cross-examination of witnesses. That’s where the real story lies, but our media is no longer interested in reporting. The prosecution’s case is falling apart and the Defense team hasn’t even started their defense yet.
The press has an agenda to fulfill. They want more riots. They want more city property destruction. The media want to set up a scenario where people think that no matter what it’s a slam dunk; the police killed Floyd, and the only way that Chauvin would be acquitted would be because of systemic American racism. They were hoping the Wright shooting would be able to support their lying narrative and when it didn’t they got angry.
Last year, after George Floyd died while in Minneapolis police custody, NBC reportedly told its journalists to only refer to unrest in Minnesota as “protests” and never “riots.”
MSNBC host and “Today” co-anchor Craig Melvin shed some light on how the network was framing its reporting at the time.
“This will guide our reporting in MN,” he tweeted. “‘While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as ‘protests’ — not riots.'”
However, in the aftermath of the riots they called protests, the city was destroyed. Businesses were left in rubble. Innocent People’s lives were destroyed, and these reprobates pushed the narrative that nothing but peaceful protests took place. It became one of the biggest gaslighting operations I’ve ever seen as about 99 percent of the media followed that narrative even during some reports of fires going on behind the reporter; it was still reported as mostly peaceful.
President Donald J. Trump stopped in Minnesota on Friday to “throngs” of people waiting to express their support of his candidacy for re-election, standing out in the cold for hours, and knowing they would not be able to get into the event where he would be speaking.
“Your far-left Dem Attorney General, and your Dem Governor tried to shut down our rally, silence the people of Minnesota, and take away your freedom of assembly. They thought we would cancel – but I said NO WAY, I will NEVER abandon the people of Minnesota!” Trump posted on Twitter.
Trump spoke at the event, in front of 250 people, for 21 minutes and then went outside to speak to the crowd after having COVID restrictions place on them all.
“The Liberal Democrat Governor of Minnesota tried to shut us down by only allowing 250 inside President @realDonaldTrump’s peaceful protest, but Gov FAILED. MINNESOTA showed up for President Trump OUTSIDE his rally,” Trump’s Press Secretary, Kaleigh McEnany wrote.
Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s son chimed in:
Fox News host Laura Ingraham had joined Trump at the rally and reported about the reactions of the attendees at the rally.
A Trump supporter posted on Twitter:
What the governor & AG of Minnesota did to @realDonaldTrump & thousands of patriots that wanted to see him was DISGUSTING. They tried to shut him down, but he went anyway, spoke to a small crowd of 250 people. Hope you appreciate that Minnesota & deliver a victory for Pres Trump.
Minnesota, ground zero for the George Floyd riots that threatened the entire nation, is now a battleground state for the 2020 presidential election, and, for Donald Trump, a state of government-sanctioned voter suppression.
The venue for President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Minnesota that was scheduled for Friday has been restricted to only 250 people after partisan political hack and former DNC chairman Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who beats his girlfriend, put pressure on the business owners of multiple locations.
The rally was originally planned for the Rochester airport, but Ellison’s office demanded a “COVID preparedness plan” from officials from the City of Rochester, Olmsted County, and the Rochester airport, as well as the Republican National Committee to ensure the event was safe. Anyone who knows Ellison knows he would love for a large crowd of Trump supporters to die of COVIID-19, so his intentions are not really about the safety of those attending, but as a means of voter suppression by limiting the number of people who can attend.
Thanks to Ellison, the event was moved to Dodge Center, prompting Ellison’s office to ask the Trump campaign and the owner of the building McNeilus Steel for their “COVID Preparedness Plan.” I highly doubt the Minnesota AG asked the Biden campaign for a COVID preparedness plant for their huge rallies. Oh, wait, that’s right. People don’t really go to Biden rallies on the rare days that he hasn’t called a lid on campaigning by 9 am.
That prompted the Trump campaign to move the event again, back to the airport.
“Thanks to the free speech-stifling dictates of Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, only the first 250 people will be admitted,” the campaign said in a statement Thursday night.
“Without question, Minnesota Democrats had hoped that the President would simply cancel the event, but he will not allow partisan politicians to deprive people of their First Amendment rights to gather peacefully to hear directly from the President of the United States,” the statement continued.
Trump supporters volunteering for the occasion instantly expressed their outrage on social media once they heard from organizers that the rally location was canceled. Comparisons had been made with the large numbers of protesters over the summer because the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.
Minnesota Republican chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan called out Ellison and Governor Tim Waltz for suppressing the First Amendment right to free assembly. Democrats no longer live by the Constitution. They use timing to their political advantage. They know how long it would take for a judge to rule their orders as a violation of people’s Constitutional rights, and there are no consequences for breaking the law in that manner.
“Suppression. Interference with our first amendment rights,” she wrote on Twitter. “This is what Gov Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison are doing by abusing the power of their offices to block us from seeing our President!”
President Trump repeatedly calls his rallies “peaceful protests,” exempting the campaign from Chinese virus restrictions on American citizens, especially in Democrat states.
The local politics of rallies to screw over Trump and Trump supporters during the rona continues to grow and fester in states led by Democrats.
A Biden rally is scheduled to be held at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee on Friday, less than a week after the airport refused to allow President Trump to have his rally there. That’s a problem stemming from Trump’s success.
A spokesman for the airport told Wisconsin local talk show host, Dan O’Donnell, that Biden’s rally will be much smaller so it’s permitted. Technically, Biden’s crowds don’t really represent a rally. In fact, the lines to the bathroom at Trump rallies are larger than Biden’s rally crowd.
Ellison defended his tyrannical actions by giving a statement to ABC5 News saying it was part of his responsibility to keep Minnesotans “safe” from the COVID-19 virus, even though he said and did absolutely nothing to control the riots and protests that broke out for months after the May death of George Floyd.
“We did not cancel this event: indeed, we have no authority to cancel events and have never cancelled an event,” he said, and added, “As Attorney General charged with enforcing our executive orders, I take very seriously my responsibility to stop it from spreading and cannot not exempt anyone, regardless of their political views, from complying with requirements to keep all Minnesotans safe from it.”
Six Democratic mayors from the Minnesota Iron Range Region have endorsed Trump. That section has the iron mines in it and has been ignored by Democrats for years. They have always voted Democrat but not anymore.
Now, they are not only voting for Trump but are voting against Democrats who have forgotten them.
The six mayors are Virginia Mayor Larry Cuffe, Chisholm Mayor John Champa, Ely Mayor Chuck Novak, Two Harbors Mayor Chris Swanson, Eveleth Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich, and Babbitt Mayor Andrea Zupancich.
This could swing Minnesota into the President’s column. He could lose both Michigan and Pennsylvania and win with Minnesota.
Like many in our region, we have voted for Democrats over many decades. We have watched as our constituents’ jobs left not only the Iron Range, but our country. By putting tariffs on our products and supporting bad trade deals, politicians like Joe Biden did nothing to help the working class. We lost thousands of jobs, and generations of young people have left the Iron Range in order to provide for their families with good paying jobs elsewhere. Today, we don’t recognize the Democratic Party. It has been moved so far to the left it can no longer claim to be advocates of the working class. The hard-working Minnesotans that built their lives and supported their families here on the Range have been abandoned by radical Democrats. We didn’t choose to leave the Democratic Party, the party left us.
They acknowledged their decades-long support for Democrats but now will vote Republican. None of them have said anything about switching parties but the endorsements will be a great help. They note Trump’s tax cuts and the fact that Biden is out of touch as their reason. Democrats have been trying to close all of Minnesota’s mines. Biden told the miners to learn to code, but his party brings in foreigners to do that.
The Iron Range region depends on mining. Should the Democrats halt that, those cities could disappear. The mayors are fighting for the future of their homes, but Democrats don’t care. Ideology over people. They live and die by that rule.
Trump always stands up for the little guy. Sometimes when a little guy doesn’t realize he is a little guy, he can do great big things. this country was built on that concept. It is what makes America great. Democrats think it’s government that makes the country great, but they are dead wrong. They forget the people are the government but not the other way around.
Trump’s iron and steel tariffs have given the region a second life but Biden would drop them back down. Plus, his energy policy would make the manufacture of steel and iron products too expensive. We would lose all of the manufacturing jobs the President has brought back to this country. The Obama/Biden administration said those jobs were never coming back, but they were wrong again.
