On Sunday, during an interview with the Epoch Times, attorney Sidney Powell talked about the many irregularities she discovered over the course of her investigation into alleged election-related fraud, and showed a high level of confidence that most of her bombshell claims will soon be confirmed.
“We have counterfeit ballots, we have dead people voting by the thousands, if not, by the hundreds of thousands, there was something someone called ‘phantom voters,’ there was just more manner and means of fraud than any law-abiding American citizen could possibly imagine,” Powell told the Epoch Times. “It’s stunning, it’s absolutely stunning, and they are so in our face with it. And then to deny it is purely Machiavellian.”
“The moneyed interests, the political interests, the global-power elites have been doing this all around the world, where ever they wanted to for at least 15 or 20 years,” Powell asserted. “Our own government has been involved in some of it. It cuts across political lines. There have been some Republicans who have, no doubt, benefitted from it, just as Democrats have. They’re all playing the game. I feel more every day that the Matrix movie was real. It’s that bad.”
“The fact that people are willing to turn a blind eye for this is just horrifying,” Powell said. She gave examples of how the Dominion voting system acts as “insurance” for those who use it to be elected or re-elected. In other words, if the election is going the crooked politician’s way, then they don’t need to use the system, however, if it appears that they are losing the election, then they do use the system to steal it.
Powell said that all of the Dominion voting machines should have been impounded immediately following the election. She believes influence that sits behind the machines runs deep in all branches of our government, and that’s why they weren’t. Why would the guilty take measures to help them get caught?
Powell believes her conclusions will be proven true when the analysis of a recent forensic investigation of Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan is revealed. There has also been analysis done in Georgia that shows the software flipped votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden on a nationwide scale.
She also believes there’s enough evidence uncovered that shows foreign interference in the 2020 election, enough that President Trump can take executive action that will kickstart a widescale investigation. Powell said she’s hopeful that when Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe gives his report about the election, which according to Trump’s 2018 Executive Order is 45 days from the election, or December 18, he will confirm just about everything she has publicly talked about so far. Remember, the DNI oversees 17 intelligence agencies.
The Executive Order decrees:
“Section 1. (a) Not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election. The assessment shall identify, to the maximum extent ascertainable, the nature of any foreign interference and any methods employed to execute it, the persons involved, and the foreign government or governments that authorized, directed, sponsored, or supported it. The Director of National Intelligence shall deliver this assessment and appropriate supporting information to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security.
b) Within 45 days of receiving the assessment and information described in section 1(a) of this order, the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate agencies and, as appropriate, State and local officials, shall deliver to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Secretary of Defense a report evaluating, with respect to the United States election that is the subject of the assessment described in section 1(a):
(i) the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and
(ii) if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data.”
Section 3 says:
“Any recommended sanctions shall be appropriately calibrated to the scope of the foreign interference identified, and may include one or more of the following with respect to each targeted foreign person:
(i) blocking and prohibiting all transactions in a person’s property and interests in property subject to United States jurisdiction;
(ii) export license restrictions under any statute or regulation that requires the prior review and approval of the United States Government as a condition for the export or re-export of goods or services;
(iii) prohibitions on United States financial institutions making loans or providing credit to a person;
(iv) restrictions on transactions in foreign exchange in which a person has any interest;
(v) prohibitions on transfers of credit or payments between financial institutions, or by, through, or to any financial institution, for the benefit of a person;
(vi) prohibitions on United States persons investing in or purchasing equity or debt of a person;
(vii) exclusion of a person’s alien corporate officers from the United States;
(viii) imposition on a person’s alien principal executive officers of any of the sanctions described in this section; or
All of this means that the Executive Order that Trump signed in 2018 will have serious ramifications for foreign influence in the 2020 election and other elections going forward, that will bring serious consequences to those foreign actors, and anyone, including American citizens, who supported or received support from said bad actors in other countries.
“If Ratcliffe’s report is an honest report, it’s going to blow the mind of every citizen in the country who’s willing to look at the truth and facts,” she declared.
The report was expected to be released on Friday the 18th, but sources familiar with the situation have said that there’s a dispute within the intelligence community over what should be included in this 2020 ICA. That means the deep staters want things in there to protect the people who may have helped foreign interference to harm Trump. Apparently, a number of senior intelligence analysts are being “adamant” that China tried to influence the 2020 presidential election, as some others are trying downplaying China’s activities during the election. The downplayers are the people who probably bar-b-q with John Brennan.
While some analysts argue that there is “ample raw intelligence” about China’s actions against the election, others are claiming there were minimal efforts by the Communist Chinese Party.
China is our greatest threat today. They want to take America’s place in the world economically, militarily, and influence-wise. It is unamerican to fight to protect Chinese influence over the 2020 election, especially when we just discovered many things about the level of infiltration the Chinese government has inside the United States.
John Ratcliffe, the director of national intelligence says he has been coordinating with Special Prosecutor John Durham in order to decide what documents can be declassified and released. This is terrible news for the Deep State because they have no way to stop them. They also don’t have Chris Wray because he can’t stop them either.
Ratcliffe has been investigating the beginning of the Russian collusion witch hunt. That is what Durham is investigating too, but there are documents that can be released. The documents that have already been released have been very revealing. They show that Obama and Biden both knew about the spying.
They also show that the FBI knew that Steele was very unreliable, but they used his material so they could spy on Trump. The FBI knew early on that there was no collusion but they were hoping to find anything they could use to depose him.
“The question now is did the FBI have a proper predicate to begin a counterintelligence investigation at all, and that’s the issue that John Durham is looking at, and also the issue that I’m continuing to look at.”
“I’m coordinating with him to make sure that he has the intelligence documents that he needs to do his work, and what I don’t want to do is declassify something that might prejudice his work so we’re going to have to coordinate as we go forward.”
John Durham is working on a large investigation into the origins of Spygate. He has now interviewed John Brennan and is expected to finish his investigation shortly. Durham has the power to bring charges and prosecute those who have committed crimes. No one can interfere.
He is looking into what the FBI’s motive was in opening an investigation into President Trump. In my opinion, they wanted to spy on Trump in the hope of catching him committing a crime. Trump did not oblige them. Now Durham is investigating to see if the investigation was strictly political.
The FBI claimed that Russia colluded with Trump to defeat Hillary. I don’t see why. They helped her get $145 million for the Clinton Foundation by aiding the Russians to buy 20% of all uranium mined in this country. Why buy milk when you already own the cow?
Grenell declassified information in footnotes from the Justice Department inspector general’s report on the FBI’s Trump investigation, which showed that the bureau had evidence that the Steele dossier may have contained disinformation planted by Russian intelligence officers.
Ratcliffe declassified an FBI memo of interviews with Igor Danchenko, the primary source for dossier author Christopher Steele. Danchenko’s statements to the FBI called into question the reliability of the dossier, which the FBI used to obtain surveillance warrants against Carter Page.
Ratcliffe says that he has been providing documents to Durham but he is not privy to Durham’s investigation. He is trying not to prejudice the investigation. He is following the guidance of Durham on the release of documents. Once his investigation is complete, document releases can move ahead quickly.
Durham’s investigation has already yielded one conviction. That was for FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith. Clinesmith altered a document used in obtaining FISA warrants. There is a hint that Clinesmith made a plea bargain but there is no proof of that. But, he will serve no more than six months and sentencing has been delayed until December.
Durham has been silent on the results he is getting. That is how it should be. But, now he needs to indict those who tried to unseat a duly elected president.
DNI Chief John Ratcliffe released a report that explains that China tried to interfere in the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden for whom they own lock, stock and barrel. But, even more troubling than that is that Gina Haspel’s CIA tried to cover up the report and keep it from going public. As great as President Trump has been, he could have done so much more had he not picked some really bad choices in his cabinet and personnel.
Besides Haspel there has been HR Puffenstuff Mc Master, Christopher Wray, John Bolton, Bill Barr and many others.
I wonder what kind of riches await Hunter Biden and The Big Guy from their sponsor the communist regime in China. And I am sure it will be even more money in their pockets as Hunter travels the world with his daddy on Air Force One.
Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.
In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleges that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.
Citing a report by the Intelligence Community Analytic Ombudsman Barry Zulauf, the director of national intelligence said some analysts were reluctant to describe China’s actions as election interference because they disagreed with the policies of President Donald Trump.
The Washington Examiner published Ratcliffe’s letter and the ombudsman report on Jan. 17, ten days after publishing an original report on the documents. The ODNI did not respond to requests from The Epoch Times to authenticate the documents.
“Based on all available sources of intelligence, with definitions consistently applied, and reached independent of political considerations or undue pressure—that the People’s Republic of China sought to influence the 2020 U.S. federal elections,” Ratcliffe wrote.
DNI Ratcliff has more information on China’s interference in the 2020 election. Let’s hope this is all addressed before senile Joe Biden is sworn in as President. The way Biden’s moving around lately, he likely doesn’t even know where China is.
More evidence has surfaced of mysterious behavior during the 2020 Presidential election, and this time there is photographic proof of connections between the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the American election warehouse, which should trigger concern enough to investigate the matter.
“After checking the tracking number on the package above, we see the shipment (apparently 7 packages) was received in April of 2020 in Texas, shipped from China. The question is – what was in the packages, and how did they end up in Fulton County, GA?” DC Media reported Tuesday.
In their article, UPDATE: Images Surface Of Possible Evidence Destruction And Chinese Involvement In the November 2020 Election, Fulton County, GA, CD Media covered the story and showed evidence of mysterious packages going from China to an election warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.
“The subjects of all of the images in this article were found shortly after the November 3rd, 2020 general election in the trash at a Fulton County Precinct off English St, Atlanta, GA. The Fulton County election warehouse is located at 1365 English St, Atlanta, GA,” CD Media reported.
“You will see evidence which appears to show packages being shipped from China to the election facility. You will see email evidence of mass chaos and incompetence during the Fulton County general election.”
“China’s rubberstamp legislature on Thursday approved a draft decision to change Hong Kong’s electoral system, making it virtually impossible for the opposition to affect outcomes of elections.
On the last day of the annual plenum of the National People’s Congress (NPC), a total of 2,895 delegates voted in favor of the electoral overhaul with zero against and one abstention.
The electoral reforms will further reduce democratic representation in the former British colony and introduce a mechanism to vet politicians’ loyalty to the Chinese regime and make sure only so-called “patriots” are allowed to rule Hong Kong.”
IT’S FOR DEMOCRACY
“This is the latest step by Beijing to hollow out the space for democratic debate in Hong Kong, and further undermine confidence and trust in China living up to its international responsibilities and legal obligations,” Dominic Raab, a UK government offical reported about the agressive moves by China to steal Hing Kong’s elections.
Sound familar? See a pattern?
DID CHINA INFLUENCE OUR ELECTION?
The above information combined with a government report should trigger some sort of curiosity and investigation, in Americans had any rights left.
Consider, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.
In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleged that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.
Citing a report by the Intelligence Community Analytic Ombudsman Barry Zulauf, the director of national intelligence said some analysts were reluctant to describe China’s actions as election interference because they disagreed with the policies of President Donald Trump.
It is unclear if there will ever be a full investigation unto the 2020 Presidential election, and more details are forthcoming that Americans deserve more transparency.
On January 15, 2021 Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Republican Lindsey Graham (SC) released 11 transcripts of interviews conducted during the Senate Judiciary Committee’s inquiry into the origins and aftermath of the Crossfire Hurricane Investigation. (links at press release).
The information was released without advanced warning, and the interest in the report was immediate because it is the beginning of the place to begin to understand what is known as the “Russiagate Hoax” to take down and remove President Donald J. Trump as President of the United States, in the report are key intelligence facts on Crossfire Hurricane, FISA & Trump Campaign surveillance.
There is missing information in the Senate release. For further reading follow to Epoch Times:

KEY POINT- HILLARY PAID FOR IT
James Rosen a Fox News correspondent spoke, on December 7, 2017, about the details from the report which proved that former Secretary of State, former Senator, and former First Lady, failed two-time Presidential candidate, Hillary R. Clinton is implicated in the FISA court press release by Graham because she paid for the Dossier which led to the FISA Court.
“Today we learned Hillary paid for the Dirty Dossier, which means everything James Rosen reported on December 7, 2017 was true. He got a lot of heat for it, but he got it right! Comey’s FBI knew Hillary paid for it and lied to the FISA court!”
Something to think about, John Robert’s role in the FISA Court:

The Delaware computer repair shop owner who got ensnared into a controversy brought to him by the junkie Hunter Biden’s laptop is sure to test the limits of legal immunity in the digital age after he filed a $500 million lawsuit for defamation against the social media site Twitter where he argues he was falsely portrayed as a hacker by the censoring tech giant.
The repair shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, filed the suit on Monday in US District Court in Miami, far from the Wilmington, Delaware computer repair shop where he says a man identifying himself as Hunter Biden in 2019 dropped a laptop off with him and never came back to pick it up. According to the law and the contract that Hunter signed with the shop after so many days of not coming back to retrieve it, the laptop legally became Mac Isaac’s.
Mac Isaac turned the laptop over to the FBI and an attorney who was working for President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani after he believed it might have evidence of wrongdoing. Mac Isaac then became the focus of a media storm, which included the New York Post. Of course, the Democrats brushed the story off using their favorite bullschtein cover story by labeling it as Russian disinformation, and then Twitter banned the New York Post’s account and any stories based on any content concerning the laptop, claiming that any information regarding the laptop violated the tech giant’s policy against hacking. It didn’t matter that the laptop legally became Mac Isaac’s property when Hunter Biden failed to show up, even after the shop owner made several attempts to notify Biden to come to get it. Twitter portrayed the idea that Mac Isaac was either a hacker or his property was the product of hacking, because of the negative connotations it conjures up.
Many people suspect Twitter censored the information because they hate Donald Trump and they wanted Joe Biden to beat him in the 2020 election, so they censored anything that would look bad on the Biden crime family.
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe publicly said that the laptop was not Russian disinformation and federal authorities did confirm that they took possession of the laptop back in December 2019. Jack Dorsey, the Twitter CEO, has come out since and said that it was a mistake to censor the stories. It’s actually unamerican to censor any news story, especially one that comes from the oldest and 4th largest publication in the country that was started by Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.
Hunter Biden recently admitted that he is under federal criminal investigation over taxes. Of course, he says he didn’t do anything wrong. For a man who constantly has to claim he did nothing wrong, he sure as hell gets himself involved in a lot of controversies.
The claim made by Twitter that the laptop violated a hacking policy is what made Mac Isaac file the lawsuit, claiming that the social media giant made “false and negligent statements.”
“On October 14, 2020, Defendant locked the NY POST’s account as it attempted to post and disseminate its exposé on the social media platform provided by Defendant,” the suit claimed. “In addition to locking the NY POST’s account, Defendant published that it was doing so because the NY POST’s story violated Defendant’s rules against ‘distribution of hacked material.’
“Defendant’s actions and statements had the specific intent to communicate to the world that Plaintiff is a hacker,” the suit alleged. “According to Merriam-Webster, a ‘hacker’ is ‘a person who illegally gains access to and sometimes tampers with information in a computer system.’ The term ‘hacker’ is widely viewed as disparaging, particularly when said about someone who owns a computer repair business. Plaintiff is not a hacker and the information obtained from the computer does not [constitute] hacked materials because Plaintiff lawfully gained access to the computer, first with the permission of its owner, BIDEN, and then, after BIDEN failed to retrieve the hard drive despite Plaintiff’s requests, in accordance with the Mac Shop’s abandoned property policy.”
The Left’s cancel culture went after Mac Isaac’s business by writing negative reviews about the shop and they did other things to harm his livelihood. The computer repair shop’s attorneys said they filed in federal court in Florida because Twitter has an office there and “performs substantial activities in the State of Florida.”
The case got tossed by the judge the day it was filed. The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida threw the case out because the complaint “failed to allege complete diversity.” The complete diversity requirement means “no plaintiff shares a state of citizenship with any defendant.” In other words, even though Twitter has an office in Florida, they are incorporated in Delaware (which any company can do from any state), and Mac Isaac is from Delaware, so the court claimed it did not have jurisdiction to hear the case.
“According to the Complaint, Defendant made false statements that Plaintiff is a ‘hacker’ in reference to materials obtained by the New York Post and shared on Twitter in an exposé concerning the contents of Hunter Biden’s computer hard drive. For the reasons set forth below, the Court lacks subject matter jurisdiction,” U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom wrote in a brief Monday.
The dismissal was entered into the docket on Tuesday. It said, “For a court to have diversity jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a), ‘all plaintiffs must be diverse from all defendants.’” That means that the plaintiffs must be of different citizenship than the defendants. That’s probably why the lawyers tried to get the case heard in another state. Both plaintiff and defendant are in Delaware, therefore a federal court cannot hear the case.
Some high-ranking US Intelligence officials were very concerned heading into the 2016 election about the fact that the Russians were fully aware that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was planning to smear Donald Trump with lies of being a Russian agent. They were so concerned that they personally briefed then President Barack Obama about it, according to freshly declassified CIA documents. Apparently, CIA officials asked the FBI to look into Russian knowledge of the Clinton campaign’s slimy smear operation. Remember, other recent declassified documents showed that it was Clinton who started the whole Russian collusion delusion in an effort to get the news focus off of her illegal private email server.
Handwritten notes from former Obama CIA Director John Brennan were just declassified, showing that the Intelligence community knew back in 2016 that Russian intelligence was monitoring, and possibly pushing disinformation into Clinton’s anti-Trump Russian collusion lies. The amount of intelligence over Russia’s familiarity of Clinton’s plans were so troubling to Brennan and other national security people that they informed Obama about it in the summer of 2016 inside the Oval Office.
The handwritten notes by Brennan were declassified by John Ratcliffe, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and he presented them to Congress on Tuesday.
The notes reveal that Brennan and US intelligence people knew months before the 2016 election that the collusion nonsense was the result of a campaign operation Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. They knew it, they reported it, and then did exactly what Barack Obama told them to do, which allegedly was to help her cover it up.
“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED],” Brennan’s handwritten notes state. “Cite alleged approval by Hillary Clinton–on 26 July–of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to villify [sic] Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.”
John Brennan knew the entire time, from 2016 onward, that it was Hillary Clinton who made it up and he never said a word to the press. Brennan continued to act like Donald Trump colluded with the Russians. What a piece of s***.
Brennan, at the time probably thinking Clinton was going to win, wrote the news to memorialize a meeting held at the White House with Obama and his top national security advisers. He was probably attempting to prove to Clinton that he should be kept on as CIA director. “Look what I did for you.”
The jackass Included in his notes responses from other participants in the meeting, including former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, and former DNI James Clapper, but those responses are redacted for obvious reasons. This means they all knew from the very beginning.
Naturally they redacted a response to a question by Obama on whether or not they had any actual evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. I suspect they were covering their butts. I would love to read those notes unredacted.
Some officials at CIA and other intel agencies suspected from the very beginning that many of the claiming made for the Trump collusion bullschtein story was nothing but Russian infiltrated disinformation. Ratcliffe just last week declassified a memo based on Brennan’s notes citing that Russian intelligence was aware of Clinton’s plans, and that alone increased the likelihood that there was a bunch of Russian disinformation involved.
In November 2020, Attorney General Bill Barr informed Congress that the FBI was so worried about a Russian spy named Igor Danchenko they listed him as the “Primary Sub-Source” used by Christopher Steele, the former British spy who was bought and paid for by a Russian oligarch, who was hired by Hillary Clinton to write the Steele dossier, which has since been thoroughly debunked. Danchenko is the one who provided the most outrageous, salacious, crazy town allegations against Trump. In fact, the FBI listed him as a national security threat and investigated him to find out if he was in fact a Russian spy, but when he left the country they dropped the case.
Even though slime ball Democrats like Adam Schiff (D-CA), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Eric the Chines puppet Swalwell (D-CA) ran around claiming, without providing a single piece of evidence, that the latest declassifications are also Russian disinformation, numerous intel people said that the CIA is still convinced that Russian intelligence genuinely believes that Hillary Clinton launched the smear campaign against Donald Trump and his campaign, citing Russian collusion, just to distract from her illegal private email server. People forget that in October of 2017, the top lawyer for the Clinton campaign and the DNC admitted publicly that he himself hired the Democrat opposition research company Fusion GPS.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered remarks on Wednesday in Atlanta Georgia at Georgia Institute of Technology.
The Following is a partial transcript:
Americans must know how the Chinese Communist Party is poisoning the well of our higher education institutions for its own ends, and how those actions degrade our freedoms and American national security. If we don’t educate ourselves, if we’re not honest about what’s taking place, we’ll get schooled by Beijing.
Now, it’s taken this country and indeed, the entire free world, a long time to understand the trajectory that China is on today. In fact, we’re not quite there yet everywhere in the world.
There’s no one to hold accountable for this. That’s not the important part. Because for a long time, Republicans, Democrats, leaders all across academia, institutions, commercial space thought that by trading and engaging with China that the Chinese Communist Party would reform itself, it would loosen up, it would embrace economic and political freedom, and it would present less risk to freedom around the world.
But instead, that’s not what we got. Instead, the Chinese communists used the wealth that was created by this to tighten their grip on power, their grip on power over the Chinese people, and to build a high-tech repressive state like the world has never seen.
General Secretary Xi Jinping has made clear his intentions. You only have to listen to what he says. He says he wants total control at home, and to make China the number-one power abroad. And he’s well on his way to working on that project.
He’s building up the People’s Liberation Army. He’s manipulating international organizations for Beijing’s benefit. And he’s engaging – as we have seen in TV only just these last two days, he’s engaging in a vast influence campaign all across the world.
And that may for some of you sitting at home today seem like a long ways away and very ambitious touch for Xi Jinping to make, but I must say he has his eye on each and every one of us.
Over the past year I’ve talked to America’s governors in Washington about this, state legislators in Wisconsin, tech leaders in Silicon Valley, and many other groups. I’ve gone out to talk to them about this challenge. And today, I want to talk about what’s happening in schools across America, especially research institutions and places like where I’m standing today.
Just think about it. Chinese Communist Party scientists aren’t pioneering cancer cures. We are. And it’s not North Korean biochemists that are producing safe COVID vaccines. We are. And Iranians aren’t ahead in supercomputing. No. In fact, we are. It is the free world and free peoples that produce these superior results. And we should be very proud of that fact.
But we have an obligation to protect it, to preserve it, to make sure that that’s the case 10 and 50 and 100 years from now.
Because on places like this campus, scientists have pioneered quantum computing, artificial intelligence, pediatric technology, even autonomous robots that can function without human control – and I must say that frightens me just a bit.
Look, the Chinese Communist Party knows it can never match our innovation. It has state-owned enterprises; it’s an authoritarian regime; it is a government-centric focus. That’s why it sends 400,000 students a year to the United States of America to study – 400,000 students a year studying in our universities come from one country. It is no accident.
Much of the high-end industrial base inside of China is based on stolen technology, or technology purchased from other nations. It’s not home-grown.
Beijing doesn’t want Chinese researchers to stay here in the United States. Indeed, after they’re trained, they want them to come back. They want to induce their return for the singular purpose of serving the Socialist Motherland.
Look, the Party’s propaganda apparatus cannot tolerate pesky Americans or Chinese nationals exposing its bankrupt system, or the fact that the Chinese people can actually flourish when they are in free societies.
It doesn’t want you to know what I’m about to tell you.
Now, let’s be clear. I want to be sure that my language is precise today. When I say “China,” I’m talking about the Chinese Communist Party. I love and value, as we all do, our Chinese American community, and the Chinese people that live here in the United States and those that live in China as well. We want good things for them.
And I say “genuinely” because of cases like Xin Wang, a researcher at the University of California at San Francisco, who allegedly lied about being a People’s Liberation Army officer, all the while collecting information on UC-SF labs. The good news is the FBI nabbed him.
And Ji Chaoqun studied electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He tried to enlist in the United States Army. He allegedly omitted his ties to Chinese intelligence, which tasked him with recruiting engineers and scientists where he was working.
These are just two examples, but what’s more: the Chinese Communist Party deploys dollars just as much as it does cloaks and daggers to get its hands on valuable knowledge.
There are many American scholars – often doing research funded by American taxpayers – that have been lured into the Chinese Communist Party’s talent recruitment programs. The CCP pays them what is for them a fortune to do research related to their current fields for, or in, China – and then often uses the fruits of their brainpower to build its military strength.
A researcher from my home state of Kansas was caught up in this trap, as was the Harvard chemistry department head. Think about that.
The Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, recently described the CCP’s strategy as “rob, replicate and replace.”
But I want to add another “r” to the DNI’s list: I want to add “repress.”
Yang Shuping, a student from China, delivered a commencement address at the University of Maryland back in 2017, just a couple of years back now. She praised “the fresh air of free speech.” She was soon demonized and harassed by CCP propaganda – propaganda outlets. I promise you, while I cannot tell you everything, that was no coincidence.
One University of Georgia student said of the CCP secret police in 2018, quote, “They have harassed me repeatedly and asked me to give them information about the activities of overseas democracy activists and dissidents, [and] they are particularly interested in the activities of Uyghurs and Tibetans,” end of quote.
Some of the CCP’s biggest victims on campuses are innocent Chinese nationals themselves, and this is a tragedy. We have a responsibility to police this.
Another example: At Princeton, just this year, students in a Chinese politics class were forced to use code names on their work, lest the CCP discover their identities, and prosecute them for free expression of views on Hong Kong and the CCP under its draconian new national security law. That’s right here. This happened right here in the United States of America. American students.
American students talk about “safe spaces” as shelter from ideas they dislike. Chinese students need safe spaces to learn of the ideas that they love. What a stark contrast.
Students from China at American universities also live in fear that their families back home will be arrested, will be interrogated, tortured – or worse – because of things they say in an American classroom.
But look, the CCP doesn’t just target Chinese nationals. They want to influence American students as well, professors and administrators too.
Look, they know that left-leaning college campuses are rife with anti-Americanism, and present easy targets for their anti-American messaging.
That’s why they planted Confucius Institutes on our campuses. And under President Trump, our State Department has made very clear these Confucius Institutes are literally up to no good. Many have gone away. Many campuses have seen that and they’ve chosen to close down these institutes. But right here in Georgia, Wesleyan College still has one in Macon.
Look, it’s why there are groups on campuses called Chinese Students and Scholars Associations here too. They’re directed and almost always funded by the Chinese Embassy or a local Chinese consulate. Its purpose: to keep tabs on students and to press pro-Beijing causes.
Now, you would think at freedom-loving places like Georgia Tech and institutions and scholars all across the world, administrators, school faculty would be more up in arms about the Chinese Communist Party’s outright theft and flagrant violation of freedoms that I’ve described, but we see it too seldom.
Well, why? Why do schools censor themselves? They often do it out of fear of offending China.
Indeed I must tell you that MIT wasn’t interested in having me to their campus to give this exact set of remarks. President Raphael Reif implied that my arguments might insult their ethnic Chinese students and professors. But of course, nothing could further from the truth. These are the very people that this set of remarks is intended to protect, to protect their freedoms.
And I must say, the yielding to the objection of hurt feelings plays right into the Chinese Communist Party’s hands. They watch America closely. It’s what the party says constantly in response to legitimate criticism around the world. You can see it.
And how would the party know how the Chinese people feel anyway, as no one ever gets to vote?
Look, we can’t let the CCP weaponize political correctness against American liberties. We have to protect and preserve them.
Fraudulent cries of racism or Sinophobia should never drown out a candid exposure of the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.
But we see too often on American campuses that there is silence and censorship. It’s being driven by the Chinese Communist Party. It usually boils down to something far less idealistic. So many of our colleges are bought by Beijing.
Let me tell you about Vera Zhou.
She’s a permanent of the resident of the United States of America. She’s originally from China and a senior at the University of Washington.
In October of 2017, so just on three years ago, she returned to China to visit her father. Local authorities put her in a re-education camp, a re-education camp for five months and under house arrest for 18 months after using a virtual private network connection to connect to her school’s website, something many of you are doing even as I speak.
Back here, we saw this. Our State Department team; Vera’s mother; Bob Fu, a great friend of the Chinese people, desperately petitioned the University of Washington to advocate for her return.
But the University of Washington, a woman named Sarah Castro, head of the federal relations office, said – she said that the university wouldn’t help because of a multi-million dollar deal with China.
Now, thank God, Vera was eventually released and returned to the United States, but no thanks to the University of Washington and no thanks to the deal that it had made with the Chinese Communist Party.
The U.S. Department of Education over the last years has found that schools have taken an estimated $1.3 billion from China since 2013. That’s just what we know about. Like so many – like Columbia – so many schools that have failed to report the true amounts.
What more – what more bad decisions will schools make because they are hooked on Chinese Communist Party cash?
What professors will they be able to co-opt or to silence?
What theft and espionage will they simply overlook? What business deals will get done as a result of that?
Look, there’s a lot of work to do. And I have laid out a pattern and practice that every American needs to know about.
And we need to begin to respond to this sooner rather than later. And our administration has begun to do that, but there is an awful lot more work to do.
We cannot allow this tyrannical regime to steal our stuff, to build their military might and brainwash our people, or buy off our institutions to help them cover up these activities.
We cannot – we cannot let the CCP crush the academic freedom that has blessed our country and blessed us with great institutions like the place that I am standing today.
But we need your help.
We need help of students. We need help of faculty. We need help of administrations all across America. We need trustees to police their endowments and the deals their universities are striking with the CCP and CCP-backed groups.
We need administrators to close Confucius Institutes and investigate what so-called student groups backed by the CCP money are actually up to on their campuses. The government will help, but we need people to assist us.
We need researchers to be vigilant against fraud and theft, and the academic community to reject the CCP’s financial siren songs.
And we need students to truly stand for free speech – the free speech for themselves, those who grew up here in America, and especially the free speech of Chinese students who are on our campuses, who are here to study and learn and to improve their rights, their lives, and to enjoy the fruits of the freedom that we provide them here in the United States of America.
Look, we need you all to speak to truth to power in solidarity when administrations exert pressures on censorship as has so often happened to project deals – protect deals with Beijing.
Let’s do this. Let’s carry forward a banner of freedom to defend our schools, what these institutions were built upon. It will aid our national security. And from the central threat of our time, the Chinese Communist Party.
What I can say with certainty is that we’ve had the balance completely wrong for decades. That is, we had an open spigot for these risks to be present in our system without the balance and checks that are required. And so you see – if you watch what the Trump administration has done with respect to this, we still – this year it’s different because of the virus, but in 2021, 2022 there’ll be 350, 360,000 Chinese students that come to America.
We want these students here, but there has to be a process, there has to be a rigorous evaluation. And some of that is the responsibility of the United States Government to undertake and we have to do a better job of doing that, but we need institutions too that are transparent, that are clear, that are following the requirements, both Department of – U.S. Department of Education requirements, the requirements to make sure that U.S. property rights are protected in the way that you just described. If you have someone invent something, we want the fruits of that effort to benefit the United States of America and not end up being used to surveil American citizens in cities all across the world.
We’ve had the balance fundamentally wrong because there was this notion that there was no cost connected to permitting the risk that the Chinese Communist Party identified, the opportunity that they saw, and the efforts they have undertaken. You all would have seen – it’s been a few months back now – we want Chinese diplomats to be here engaged in diplomacy, but the Chinese Communist Party was using their consulate in Houston as a den of spies. And for an awfully long time, the United States just said we’re not going to do anything about that. That’s unacceptable. That’s unacceptable to the American people from a national security perspective, it’s unacceptable to the people of Houston and the businesses that are there that these so-called diplomats are out stealing their stuff, and so we did the work. We collectively – the United States Government did the work, identified the problem set, and solved the problem.
This is the model that we have to use. The model has been for an awfully long time they’re – it’s a big country, there’s enormous economic opportunity by engaging with them, let’s just do that and hope things turn out well. It’s too dangerous. The Chinese Communist Party has a mission set. We only need to listen to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s vision for global hegemony and the capacity that he has developed to actually execute. He has capability and intent. Those are the things that present risk to Americans, and we have a responsibility to take on these hard problems, to protect American freedom, to welcome citizens who want to come study at our universities from all across the world, but do so with an eye towards making sure that we do all the things that we are duty-bound to ensure that we protect.
US Representative Eric Swalwell boldly pushes Marxist ideology into the public media to overthrow President Donald J. Trump and uses the cover of concerns over Trump’s proven non-existence ties to Russia to do it, so it is shocking and more embarrassing than Swalwell’s “bottom sneezes” on public TV to find out that Swalwell is being accused of having a sexual affair and employing an alleged Communist Spy.
“How a suspected Chinese spy targeted California politicians She helped Rep. Eric Swalwell fundraiser for his re-election campaign and had interacted with him at several events. Glad he’s not the @POTUS,” Corey Lewandowski posted on Twitter.
These are issues the American press used to care about. Especially when there is an obvious conflict of interest that Swalwell was the poster boy, at the time, to impeach a sitting US President.
Donald Trump Jr. posted his personal feelings on the matter and said, “So Rep Swalwell who spent years saying I was an agent of Russia was literally sleeping with a Chinese spy at the time. You can’t make this stuff up. How can this compromised individual/moron continue to sit on an intelligence committee?”
Photos of Swalwell with a woman is making the media rounds:
Along with concerns that they may have been intimate relations with spies, which is a tactic used to get men to give up important secrets, that is as old as time.
The Daily Caller reported:
“A suspected Chinese spy operating in the Bay Area during the Obama administration reportedly got so close to Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) that the FBI had to intervene and provide him with a defensive briefing.”
“The alleged spy, Chinese national Christine Fang, “targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage” through “campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships.”
Meanwhile, John Ratcliffe, the director of national intelligence, revealed in a Thursday opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal that Chinese agents have targeted U.S. lawmakers more than any other country, including Russia and Iran, in order to shape U.S. policy in favor of Beijing.
That follows a year-long pattern of warnings from Mike Pompeo from the State Department who had been warning politici, ans that the Chinese Communist Party had leverage over numerous politicians that they knew about.
Radical far-left Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein has been a strong and bold promoter of Communist China, opening opportunities for their political influence upon our elections.
The problem is rampant and obvious.
The solutions are obvious to the American people; however, the elite Washington bubble has other dreams. Consider the recent footage of a representative of the CCP bragging about how China will celebrate a Joe Biden victory.
