Smoking Gun Email Reveals Comey Told Clapper FBI Unable to ‘Sufficiently Corroborate’ Steele Dossier – Then Signed FISA Warrant Anyway

Smoking Gun Email Reveals Comey Told Clapper FBI Unable to ‘Sufficiently Corroborate’ Steele Dossier – Then Signed FISA Warrant Anyway

This is huge. James Comey sent an email to James Clapper informing him that the FBI could not verify the Steele Dossier.

Then, afterward, he signed a FISA application in which he had to swear that the information had been verified. That is illegal and the fact that he knew the document could not be verified means that this was an intentional act of subterfuge on Comey’s part.

The CIA had already told Comey that Carter Page had been a long-time operative for them, which meant he was not a spy for the Russians, rather he was an informant against them.

That is the document that Kevin Clinesmith forged and a crooked judge allowed him to walk free even though he confessed. And guess what else? The bar association did not disbar him for forging the document. Lucky for him he isn’t a Republican, he would have gotten life.

The FBI had received warnings that Steele was not credible and that he hated Trump. The FBI was also informed that the Hillary campaign put forth the Russian collusion hoax in order to direct attention away from her email server scandal.

Despite having all of this evidence, James Comey plotted and tried to carry out a coup against a duly elected president. Comey even wrote a book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.

Well, Comey is an expert on lies but the truth is he had no loyalty to his job and his leadership in passing on lies is now well documented. But, don’t expect John Durham to indict Comey or anyone else for that matter.

I am convinced that he is in cover-up mode and another previously good man sold his soul to the devil.

His entire investigation was a farce and Bill Barr was part of it in my opinion. I hope they prove me wrong.

John Solomon via Just The News reported:

It was in that environment in the final days of the Obama administration that Clapper had written Comey earlier on Jan. 12, 2017 to inform the FBI that Clapper had decided to release a public statement declaring that the Steele dossier was only mentioned in an appendix to the intel community’s report because the “IC has not made any judgment that the information in the document is reliable.”

Comey tried to push back, suggesting Steele was deemed reliable (he actually had been terminated by the FBI for leaking by that time) and that his network included sources that might be in a position to know things (although the key source had already disavowed the information attributed to him in the dossier).

“I just had a chance to review the proposed talking points on this for today,” Comey wrote Clapper. “Perhaps it is a nit, but I worry that it may not be best to say ‘the IC has not made any judgment that the information in the document is reliable.’ I say that because we HAVE concluded that the source is reliable and has a track record with us of reporting reliable information; we have some visibility into his source network, some of which we have determined to be sub-sources in a position to report on such things; and much of what he reports in the current document is consistent with and corroborative of other reporting included in the body of the main IC report.

On January 15, 2021 Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Republican Lindsey Graham (SC)  released 11 transcripts of interviews conducted during the Senate Judiciary Committee’s inquiry into the origins and aftermath of the Crossfire Hurricane Investigation.  (links at press release).

The information was released without advanced warning, and the interest in the report was immediate because it is the beginning of the place to begin to understand what is known as the “Russiagate Hoax” to take down and remove President Donald J. Trump as President of the United States, in the report are key intelligence facts on Crossfire Hurricane, FISA & Trump Campaign surveillance.

There is missing information in the Senate release.  For further reading follow to Epoch Times:

The poster known at Techno Fog, who I have verified is a legal professional is known for the highly accurate and professional understanding of legal documents posted something noteworthy:

“The Senate has released Crossfire Hurricane transcripts. Excerpt from discussion during Joe Pientka (SSA1) testimony: The “original Woods file is missing” from the 1st Carter Page FISA application.”

KEY POINT- HILLARY PAID FOR IT

James Rosen a Fox News correspondent spoke, on December 7, 2017,  about the details from the report which proved that former Secretary of State, former Senator, and former First Lady, failed two-time Presidential candidate, Hillary R. Clinton is implicated in the FISA court press release by Graham because she paid for the Dossier which led to the FISA Court.

“Today we learned Hillary paid for the Dirty Dossier, which means everything James Rosen reported on December 7, 2017 was true. He got a lot of heat for it, but he got it right! Comey’s FBI knew Hillary paid for it and lied to the FISA court!”

Something to think about, John Robert’s role in the FISA Court:

After 4 Years Dems Concede No Basis For FISA Warrants

After 4 Years Dems Concede No Basis For FISA Warrants

Catherine Herridge of CBS News reported on Tuesday a set of tweets that should lead to outrage over the amount of wasted time and harassment that has unfolded around President Donald J. Trump, leading to numerous destroyed lives and obstacles to Trump’s America First policies, that the American people elected Trump to carry out, and it all looks like it was a simple baseless plot.

Herridge’s tweets happen at the same time news of Andrew McCabe’s testimony from Tuesday comes out, admitting that FISA Warrants against President Donald Trump were regrettable :

The Heritage Foundation exposed the faulty logic behind the FISA Warrants and reported in Jan:

“Two of the FBI’s four applications for warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to spy on a Trump campaign adviser lacked probable cause and should not have been issued in the first place.

That’s the stunning admission by the Justice Department, contained in a recent court filing with the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in Washington.

Turns out the FBI and Justice Department did abuse the FISA process, omit material information, and subvert justice, and the DOJ now has admitted it. “

That news from January has a new angle now, and one mainstream media is covering it.

” 3 weeks before this WH meeting, October 2016, FBI secured first of 4 surveillance warrants for @carterwpage which allowed FBI to scoop up Page’s universe of communications, including campaign contacts. With today’s testimony @LindseyGrahamSC committee, McCabe becomes at least 4th former senior official to testify that if they knew in 2016 + 2017, what they know today about falsified records, errors + omissions (exculpatory evidence) they would not have signed the warrant. NOTE: Nov 2016 FBI also deep into investigation incoming NSA @GenFlynn,” Herridge posted on Twitter while retweeting a video of former President Barack Obama.

Herridge’s Tweets

In the video Herridge retweeted, Obama and President Donald J. Trump are talking with the caption, “Four years ago today, President Obama invited President-elect Trump to the White House one day after Trump’s projected victory. “My number one priority in the coming two months is to try to facilitate a transition that ensures our President-elect is successful,” Obama said.

Interesting that now we now the FISA warrants were baseless, just in time for Democrat Joe Biden to do everything the Democrats accused Trump of doing and worse.

The Fall out from McCabe’s admission has been quick, with Trump and Senator Blackburn calling for conséquences for McCabe for his admission :

Yet the rush is on for the administration of Joe Biden is rushing to be recognized as the President, like a big crazy game of “chicken”.

Barr and Wray Announce FISA Reforms “Americans must have Confidence in US Government”

Barr and Wray Announce FISA Reforms “Americans must have Confidence in US Government”

The following is the full press statement from the Attorney General, William Barr and outlines the reforms agreed upon with the director of the FBI Christopher Wray.

The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Announce Critical Reforms to Enhance Compliance, Oversight, and Accountability at the FBI

These Reforms Will Improve the FBI’s Internal Compliance Program, Ensure the Accuracy of FISA Applications, and Require Proper Oversight of FISA Applications Targeting Elected Officials and Campaigns
The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation today announced key reforms that will empower the FBI to build a more robust internal compliance program and that will ensure, among other things, the accuracy of FISA applications, as well as the active oversight of applications targeting federal elected officials, candidates for federal elected office, and their staffs.

“Today, the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation press forward with Foreign Intelligence Surveillance reforms. In consultation with FBI Director Wray, I issued two memoranda — one that authorizes the establishment of an FBI Office of Internal Auditing and directs the FBI to undertake aggressive compliance measures, and the other that establishes protocols to ensure the accuracy of FISA applications and the effective oversight of any surveillance applications targeting elected officials and political campaigns,” said Attorney General William P. Barr.

“FISA is a critical tool to ensuring the safety and security of Americans, particularly when it comes to fighting terrorism.

However, the American people must have confidence that the United States Government will exercise its surveillance authorities in a manner that protects the civil liberties of Americans, avoids interference in the political process, and complies with the Constitution and laws of the United States. What happened to the Trump presidential campaign and his subsequent Administration after the President was duly elected by the American people must never happen again.”

“Since the Inspector General’s Crossfire Hurricane report was issued last December, I have made clear that it describes conduct that was unacceptable and unrepresentative of the FBI as an organization” said FBI Director Christopher Wray.

“That’s why I immediately ordered more than 40 corrective actions, including foundational FISA reforms, many of which went beyond those recommended by the Inspector General. The FBI has been working diligently to implement these corrective actions. The additional reforms announced today, which we worked on closely with the Attorney General’s office, will build on the FBI’s efforts to bolster its compliance program. FISA is an indispensable tool that the FBI uses to protect our country from national security threats, and Americans can rest assured that the FBI remains dedicated to continuously strengthening our FISA compliance efforts and ensuring that our FISA authorities are exercised in a responsible manner.”

The first memorandum issued by the Attorney General is entitled to Augmenting the Internal Compliance Functions of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This memorandum makes significant improvements to the FBI’s internal compliance program. It authorizes the establishment of the Office of Internal Auditing to overcome a gap in auditing capability at the FBI and requires the development of compliance and oversight mechanisms, training, and internal controls to ensure the FBI’s compliance with applicable statutes, policies, procedures, and court orders that govern the FBI’s national security activities. The reforms also require the FBI to perform robust auditing functions, including, for example, routine audits of the FBI’s use of National Security Letters, compliance with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), and adherence to FISA’s minimization, targeting, and querying procedures.

The second memorandum is entitled Supplemental Reforms to Enhance Compliance, Oversight, and Accountability with Respect to Certain Foreign Intelligence Activities of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The supplemental reforms in this memorandum build on the corrective measures undertaken by the FBI Director in his response to the December 2019 report of the Department of Justice Inspector General entitled Review of Four FISA Applications and Other Aspects of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
These reforms are designed to ensure the accuracy and completeness of FISA applications targeting U.S. persons. The reforms also include oversight protocols to ensure that any use of FISA to surveil federal elected officials, candidates for federal elected office, or their advisors or staff is justified, non-partisan, and based on full and complete information.

Finally, the memorandum requires the FBI to develop procedures to prevent United States persons from becoming unwitting participants in malign influence operations by foreign powers and to review its disciplinary policies and procedures to ensure appropriate disciplinary action for those who knowingly misrepresent facts to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

Clinesmith, In Order to Save Himself, Has Implicated Others on Crossfire Hurricane — Who Ultimately Hid the Exculpatory Info From the FISA Court?

Clinesmith, In Order to Save Himself, Has Implicated Others on Crossfire Hurricane — Who Ultimately Hid the Exculpatory Info From the FISA Court?

It appears that Kevin Clinesmith’s guilty plea was part of a plea bargain, where implicated others who were as crooked as he was.

Clinesmith changed an email that said that Carter POage had worked with the CIA in order to arrest and jail Russians. Clinesmith then altered it to read that he had not worked with the CIA.

Clinesmith claims that he gave the FBI the unaltered email before he provided the fake. According to Durham’s charging document (and also in IG Horowitz’s report), “certain individuals” on the Crossfire Hurricane team. It specifically says ‘individuals.’

So who are the others who knew the truth but hid it? This must be why Clinesmith was reduced to just one charge.

Hopefully, more people will refuse to fall on their sword.

Despite knowing that Carter Page was an intelligence asset, no one gave that information to the FISA court.

We already know there were many bits of information that the FBI and DOJ hid from the FISA Court.

What else don’t we know about yet?

Clinesmith will be charged with just one count of making a false statement. But if he turned state’s evidence and named names and possibly supplied evidence of what he claimed, it would not seem as light.

His prosecution was a slam dunk, so it seems highly unlikely they would cut a deal for a guilty plea. That is reserved for cases that are much harder to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Bill Barr was on Hannity last night and said there would be breaking news today. But he also said there was more coming and that Durham is not working on a time schedule.

Democrats and their loyal pundits have been claiming that anything not released by Sept 4th could not be revealed until after the November election.

Sally Yates Throws James Comey Under the Bus…Would Not Have Signed FISA Warrant

Sally Yates Throws James Comey Under the Bus…Would Not Have Signed FISA Warrant

Sally Yates joined a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee chaired by Lindsey Graham. Her testimony is to be considered important because she threw James Comey under the bus.

She admitted under oath that James Comey had gone rogue in his attempts to frame Gen Michael Flynn. Going rogue means to operate outside the rules and regulations of the FBI.

She also said that if she had any idea of the extent to which the FBI and DOJ was lying to the FISA Court, she would not have signed the fourth application for a FISA warrant against Carter Page.

That sounds more like a CYA strategy than anything else. When you sign a FISA application, you are swearing that the evidence in the application has been verified.

Yates signed the FISA application on Jan 17th, 2017, just three days before Trump took office. This allowed the FBI to continue spying on Trump and his transition team.

The DOJ IG, Michael Horowitz released a scathing report the crimes the Deep State violated in their attempt to overthrow a duly elected president.

The IG report found that there were no less than 17 inaccuracies or outright lies in the FISA applications, including doctored documents and withholding important facts such as that Steele was found to be unreliable or that he was working for Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Christopher Steele, in his report, stated that Page was part of a “well-developed conspiracy of cooperation” between Donald Trump and the Kremlin.

We now know there was not a single word of truth in the dossier and it was written to please the ones that hired him and not necessarily for getting at the truth.

From The Daily Caller

The IG report also said that FBI agents withheld information that undermined the theory that Page was acting as a covert agent of Russia. One of the FBI’s case agents failed to disclose that Page had served as an “operational contact” for the CIA through at least 2013, according to the IG report.

Yates told Sen. Lindsey Graham at Wednesday’s hearing that she was “shocked” by the revelations in the IG report. But she also defended the basis for the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign. The bureau opened the probe, Crossfire Hurricane, on July 31, 2016 based on information from the Australian government regarding George Papadopoulos, another Trump campaign adviser.

Trump vows to release FISA docs now that Mueller probe is concluded, slams ‘treasonous’ FBI

President Trump, in an exclusive wide-ranging interview Wednesday night with Fox News’ “Hannity,” vowed to release the full and unredacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and related documents used by the FBI to probe his campaign, saying he wants to “get to the bottom” of how the long-running Russia collusion narrative began.

Trump’s timing couldn’t be more perfect. He has been waiting for all the Democrats lies to be exposed and now he will reveal the truth. Can’t wait!!

Trump told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to take that dramatic step out of fear that it could be considered obstruction of justice.

“I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release,” Trump said. “I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn’t want me to do it early on. … A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I’m glad I didn’t do it. We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. One of the reasons that my lawyers didn’t want me to do it, is they said, if I do it, they’ll call it a form of obstruction.”

Trump added: “Frankly, thought it would be better if we held it to the end. But at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing.”

Trump also accused FBI officials of committing “treason” — slamming former FBI Director James Comey as a “terrible guy,” former CIA Director John Brennan as potentially mentally ill, and Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff as a criminal.

Redacted versions of FISA documents already released have revealed that the FBI extensively relied on documents produced by Christopher Steele, an anti-Trump British ex-spy working for a firm funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, to surveil Trump aide Carter Page. At least one senior DOJ official had apparent concerns Steele was unreliable, according to text messages exclusively obtained last week by Fox News.

The leaked dossier, and related FBI surveillance, kickstarted a media frenzy on alleged Russia-Trump collusion that ended with a whimper on Sunday, when it was revealed Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe concluded finding no evidence of such a conspiracy, despite several offers by Russians to help the Trump campaign. Page was never charged with wrongdoing, and he is currently suing the DNC for defamation.

FOX NEWS EXCLUSIVE: NEWLY REVEALED TEXTS SHOW DOJ OFFICIALS CLASHING WITH FBI OVER ‘BIAS’ OF KEY WARRANT SOURCE

Citing a high-level source, Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul late Wednesday tweeted that anti-Trump ex-CIA Director John Brennan had internally pushed the dossier. Fox News has not independently verified Paul’s source.

“I think Brennan’s a sick person, I really do,” Trump said. “I believe there’s something wrong with him, for him to come out of the CIA and act that way was so disrespectful to the country and to the CIA. He was not considered good at what he did. He was never a respected guy.”

Wednesday in an interview with Hannity, President Trump promised to release the full, unredacted FISA warrant and documents to the public.

Although lawyers have advised Trump not to release the documents in fear that there may be obstruction of justice, Trump stands firm on his desire to release them.

“I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release,” Trump said. “I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn’t want me to do it early on. … A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. Trump also accused FBI officials of committing “treason” — slamming former FBI Director James Comey as a “terrible guy,” former CIA Director John Brennan as potentially mentally ill, and Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff as a criminal.

Schiff is still insisting that he has seen evidence that President Trump colluded with Russia. Trump had this to say about Schiff:

“Schiff is a bad guy, he knew he was lying — he’s not a dummy. For a year and a half he would just leak and call up CNN and others. You know, I watch him, so sanctimonious … He knew it was a lie, and he’d get in the back room with his friends in the Democrat Party, and they would laugh like hell. In one way, you could say it’s a crime what he did — he was making statements he knew were false. He’s a disgrace to our country.”

It will be interesting to see if the FISA reports are released. Stay tuned.
