On Thursday, House and Senate Democrats announced immigration “reform” legislation that grants amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens and gives them a pathway to citizenship. It’s all about the votes, folks. This bill probably won’t pass in the Senate, because there may be one of possibly two Democrats who haven’t completely lost their marbles and would vote against it, but you never know. The Biden White House understands this.
The bill is loaded with political wishlist items – or should I say hitlist items – of radical leftists who have no inkling whatsoever to help America first and just want the votes.
The Democrats have been telling us that there are 11 million illegal aliens in the United States for about 25 to 30 years. Do they really expect us to believe that no more came in since then? Or do they think something silly is going on like for every illegal that covers over the border they slap hands with another who’s leaving? Why do liberals never raise the number from 11 million? A better question is how come not a single member of the mainstream news media has ever asked a Democrat why they keep giving the number as 11 million. Again because it’s all about the votes. They don’t want the American people to know that it’s more like 25 to 30 million illegal aliens that are living inside the country illegally.
If they do this and they succeed, then Republicans will never win another election. Everything the Democrats are doing is to give themselves more power. They haven’t done a damn thing to help America in decades, it’s always all about power.
The bill is 353 pages long. It would create an 8-year plan to get up to 30 million illegal aliens citizenship, people have broken the law by crossing our borders illegally. The Democrats want to reward the lawbreakers with American citizenship.
Some of the goodies the Democrats threw into the bill are sending foreign aid to countries south of the border, relaxing rules for claiming asylum down to “this one’s breathing,” spending money at the border to help process all the unregistered Democrats coming in instead of building a wall to keep them out until they come in legally. They’re giving illegals Social Security numbers and health insurance under Obamacare for illegals given the status of “lawful prospective immigrant” and they’re probably going to charge us for it.
“We have an economic and moral imperative to pass big, bold and inclusive immigration reform that leaves no one behind, not our Dreamers and [Temporary Protective Status] holders, not our farm workers and meat packers, not our essential workers and not our parents, friends and neighbors,” Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) who sponsored the bill told Politico on Thursday.
Actually, the dopey Senator from New Jersey should know that we have no moral imperative whatsoever to take in millions of people who cannot take care of themselves and make American citizens pay for it all because they will one day vote for Democrats. This is some serious bullschtein. The Democrats are using our money to help build a system where they will never lose another election again. Talk about immorality.
The bill has nothing in it to increase border security or help immigration law enforcement. Democrats know Republicans always demand those specific things before negotiations can even begin, but the Dems are very candid about their unwillingness to compromise.
“We have compromised too much and capitulated too quickly to fringe voices who have refused to accept the humanity and contributions of immigrants to our country,” Menendez said.
Don’t you love how lowlifes like Menendez conflate legal immigrants with illegal immigrants? They are not the same by any stretch.
It’s already known that this legislation isn’t seen as any kind of reform, because it isn’t on the face of it. Rather, it’s being pushed now as a warning to Americans that the progressives are now in control and they better get used to having things like this shoved down their throats.
I honestly believe that Democrats hire psychologists to study the behavior of people who are being controlled to help them manipulate the people. I believe they put this bill up knowing that it won’t pass so that the next time they do a bill this crazy the American people will think we’ve been down this road before so it must not be that bad because we survived it, forgetting from the back of their mind that the original didn’t pass because it was ludicrous. This is all psychological mumbo jumbo that the Democrats play all the time. It’s called incrementalism, a plan of action where instead of asking for everything they want all at once because they know it’ll be shut down by the majority of people, they push little bits at a time, incrementally, and they do head fakes with bills like this knowing that they’re not going to pass but the next time they propose something similar it just might.
A “source” told Politico, “This bill was not designed to get to 60. There’s no pathway to 60.”
The main purpose of the bill was to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and make them full-blooded US citizens with voting rights. Illegals qualified must have been physically on US soil on or before January 1, 2021, unless they were granted a waiver from the secretary of Homeland Security for humanitarian purposes. That last part about the waiver is what they’re going to exploit because you would think that it would be very few people who would be granted a waiver but Democrats will push through 10 million people by giving them waivers, and then they will think you’re the crazy one when you complain about it.
The bill has zero provisions to increase border security, probably because Republicans favor that since they tend to put American citizens before illegals. There’s no funding to finish building the wall and they will spend more money on technology to identify narcotics and contraband and it authorizes the secretary of Homeland Security to “develop and implement a strategy to manage and secure the southern border of the United States by deploying smart technology.”
Enough is enough, President Trump just sent shock waves around the world, by announcing the United States is officially leaving the World Health Organization (WHO). A darling of the United Nations and China especially, their ineptitude over the decades, total mismanagement of the slowing CV pandemic and rejection of the Trump administrations calls for more transparency just culminated in President Trump’s decision.
This formal notification of withdrawal concludes months of threats from the Trump administration to pull the United States out of the WHO, which is affiliated with the United Nations.
This announcement is sure to trigger panic within the WHO’s ranks, particularly given that the United States supplies a significant percentage — more than $400 million — of the group’s operating budget. At one point, members of the WHO previously accused Taiwan of orchestrating an uprising among member nations based on racism — a claim Taiwan quickly and forcefully disputed.
Withdrawal requires a year’s notice, so it will not go into effect until July 6, 2021, raising the possibility the decision could be reversed.
As expected Democratic leaders are already on social media, in front of cameras, and on conference calls to position the administration’s decision to leave the WHO as reckless. The timing of the administration’s decision has drawn intense scrutiny and is likely to spur questions about U.S. involvement in global efforts to develop a coronavirus vaccine.
Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.), the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, tweeted that the administration informed Congress of the withdrawal plans.
Congress received notification that POTUS officially withdrew the U.S. from the @WHO in the midst of a pandemic.
To call Trump’s response to COVID chaotic & incoherent doesn't do it justice. This won't protect American lives or interests—it leaves Americans sick & America alone.
“To call Trump’s response to COVID chaotic & incoherent doesn’t do it justice. This won’t protect American lives or interests — it leaves Americans sick & America alone,” the senator tweeted.
This decision is irresponsible, reckless, and utterly incomprehensible. Withdrawing from the @WHO in the midst of the greatest public health crisis of our lifetime is a self-destructive move. More Americans will be hurt by this careless choice. https://t.co/OeSoLikR4f
Regardless of what you think of President Trump, if he says he is going to do something or sets conditions which must be met, then when he repeatedly follow through inaction, those thinking about challenging him should wise up a bit. This decision will be used to energize the Trump base further but provide further ammo for the left pushing a narrative of President Trump’s “incompetence”. If this finalizes in a year, our country will once again have left a globalist monstrosity.
A surge of asylum seekers from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras are bombarding the southern border.
On Friday, Trump accused the nations of having “set up” migrant caravans and sent them north.
Trump said there was a “very good likelihood” he would close the border this week if Mexico did not stop immigrants from reaching the United States.
These three countries are known as the Northern Triangle. The United States gives $700 million dollars in aid to these three countries. That is a lot of money that should be helping the economic crisis happening there. A State Department spokesperson said they are carrying out Trump’s directive and engaging Congress in the process. Apparently, approval from Congress is needed to end the funding.
Some Democrats have come out against ending aid and shutting down the border.
New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Trump’s order a “reckless announcement” and urged Democrats and Republicans alike to reject it.
At a rally on the border in El Paso, Texas, Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke denounced Trump’s immigration policies as the politics of “fear and division.”
Gavin Newsom, the governor of California tweeted this:
In contrast to Newsom’s claim, the people crossing the border are not seeking asylum from “violence and corruption”, they are seeking work. This is economic migration, not an asylum.
Mario Garcia, a 45-year-old bricklayer in El Salvador, said he was setting off for the United States regardless of the president’s threat to close the frontier.
“There is no work here and we want to improve (our lives), to get ahead for our families, for our children. I don’t give a damn (what Trump says), I’m determined,” Garcia said.
With the U.S. unemployment dropping Americans should be concerned about what jobs these workers will take. Many of our big cities are seeing a huge surge in homelessness. In fact, some can argue cities like Los Angeles, Oakland, San Francisco, and Chicago are having an economic, or humanitarian, crisis of there own.
One of the most prominent groups advocating for stricter immigration went to court Wednesday to demand a judge order the Southern Poverty Law Center to stop labeling it a “hate group,” accusing the self-described watchdog of running an illegal racket to silence political opponents.
By Stephen Dinan– The Washington Times – Wednesday, January 16, 2019
One of the most prominent groups advocating for stricter immigration went to court Wednesday to demand a judge order the Southern Poverty Law Center to stop labeling it a “hate group,” accusing the self-described watchdog of running an illegal racket to silence political opponents.
The Center for Immigration Studies says the SPLC’s accusations of “racist” and “anti-immigrant” are not only wrong, but they have cost the nonprofit support and financial backing by scaring people away from doing business with the center.
CIS brought its challenge in federal district court in Washington, D.C., filing a civil complaint under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) act against SPLC President Richard Cohen and Heidi Beirich, who runs the group’s Hatewatch blog.
Mark Krikorian, CIS’s executive director, says his organization doesn’t meet the SPLC’s own definition of a hate group and the Alabama-based watchdog knows it, but persists anyway — which he said was evidence of the racket.
“SPLC and its leaders have every right to oppose our work on immigration, but they do not have the right to label us a hate group and suggest we are racists,” he said. “The Center for Immigration Studies is fighting back against the SPLCsmear campaign and its attempt to stifle debate through intimidation and name-calling.”
CIS is not the only group to protest SPLC’s profligate use of the hate tag, but it appears to be the first to mount a challenge under RICO, a law that is usually more associated with the FBI’s anti-mob efforts.
CIS says SPLC defines hate groups as organizations whose official statements or activities “attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics.”
Mr. Krikorian said that doesn’t match his group, whose motto is “pro-immigrant, low immigration.” He says in practice that motto means CIS makes the case for “fewer immigrants but a warmer welcome for those admitted.”
CIS says it doesn’t think its work amounts to attacks on people but rather an attempt to raise policy questions.
Beyond that, Mr. Krikorian says, the Supreme Court has held that being an immigrant is not an immutable characteristic, so maligning migrants wouldn’t qualify anyway.
CIS’s work is widely cited in the press, including in the pages of The Washington Times; it issues awards for press coverage of immigration, including, in the past, to The Times; its experts are regularly called to testify before Congress; and its experts have been invited to meet with top homeland security officials in both the Obama and Trump administrations.
The center’s work is also used by self-appointed independent fact-checkers such as PolitiFact.com, which in 2017 fact-checked the SPLC’s hate designation. PolitiFact concluded that most of the evidence was guilt by association.
Under the Trump administration, CIS’s profile has grown, with some former staffers being hired into government jobs. And CIS experts have also conducted interviews with top Homeland Security officials, in events broadcast on C-SPAN.
Those interviews raised the ire of congressional Democrats. Then-House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley fired off a note last year urging the chief of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to cancel an appearance, saying CIS spread “abhorrent viewpoints, including white supremacism and anti-Semitism.”
Mr. Cohen, in a statement to The Times, said CIS “richly deserves the hate group label,” and he looked forward to battling the group in court.
“It has a history of making racially inflammatory statements, associating with white nationalists, and circulating the work of racist writers,” he said. “Its lawsuit is nothing more than a heavy-handed effort to try to silence us from exercising our First Amendment right to express our opinion.”
SPLC, in its write-up on CIS, says the center made the list in 2016 after circulating a weekly reading list that sometimes linked to “white nationalist and antisemitic writers,” and by commissioning work from a former Heritage Foundation employee who the SPLC said had been ousted “for his embrace of racist pseudoscience.”
Of Mr. Krikorian, SPLC says: “While capable of appearing as a sober-minded policy analyst in some settings, longtime CIS executive director Mark Krikorian’s contributions to the immigration policy debate rarely rise above petulant commentary dashed with extremist statements.”
Among other evidence, the SPLC lists in its 8,000-word writeup is CIS’s support for mandatory E-Verify, the federal government’s currently voluntary program to let businesses check their workers’ legal status.
E-Verify was spoken of glowingly just this month by Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat — but the SPLC cast it in a more nefarious light, saying it was a linchpin of the “anti-immigrant movement.”
Perhaps most damning for the SPLC is CIS’s association with John Tanton, whom the SPLC labels a racist. CIS counters that it’s independent of Mr. Tanton.
The SPLC cut its teeth on taking on the Ku Klux Klan in the 1970s — and built a sterling reputation and a massive bank account in doing so.
In recent years, the group has become a major player in questions of Muslims’ rights and on the immigration debate, and it’s expanded its list of haters to include groups that may have taken politically controversial stands but had not generally been accused of racism.
The more expansive role has also earned it new headaches.
The SPLC last year agreed to pay a $3.4 million settlement to a Muslim activist who the group in 2016 had listed among “anti-Muslim extremists.” Mr. Cohen issued a statement in June acknowledging they botched that one.
Part of the problem is the group’s increasing forays into activism, which can build tension with its more longstanding role as a clearinghouse for information.
Guidestar, another clearinghouse for information on nonprofits, last year adopted the SPLC’s hate list, attaching the label to dozens of profiles in its massively influential database. Among those slapped with the label was CIS.
After protests, Guidestar reversed itself and removed the labels from all of the 46 groups it had targeted on SPLC’s say-so.
Guidestar CEO Jacob Harold said they reversed course because there were “reasonable disagreements” over the labels themselves, but also because he feared for his employees’ safety after he said they got threats for relying on the SPLC’s determinations.
AmazonSmile, a program by internet commerce giant Amazon to allow users to donate money to nonprofits, also has cited SPLC’s designation as a reason to terminate CIS’s account, according to the new lawsuit.
CIS says that’s cost it at least $10,000 in donations.
CIS says that since it doesn’t meet SPLC’s own definition of a hate group yet the group continues to use that label online, that amounts to wire fraud, which violates RICO.
CIS says it not only wants a judge to award damages and order SPLC to remove the “hate” label, but to also order SPLC to affirmatively state on its website “that CIS is not a hate group.”
RICO has also been used to settle thorny political clashes before, including by the National Organization for Women which in the 1980s and 1990s filed civil RICO claims against pro-life protesters at abortion clinics.
NOW claimed the protesters’ actions amounted to extortion and asked for the triple damages allowed under RICO. Decades of litigation produced a mixed outcome.

Not only is the Presidents base Rock Solid, it is expanding. The Democrats once again overplayed their hand. They are proving that the federal government runs just fine without the unnecessary employees. The Democrats are also proving that they care more about illegal aliens than they do about their own allies in the swamp and American citizens.

HOW DO THE DEMOCRATS SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ?
Youth has always been used for the most evil deeds in totalitarian societies. Because they are so easy to lead and have little life experience. Within 10 years of control of schools in the Soviet Union the students were sent to help destroy Ukrainian nationalism in the Ukraine and they proceeded to help kill 4.8 million Ukrainians. The death toll in China was well into 10’s of millions of Chinese during the cultural revolution in which the young students were put in charge of cleaning out all the traitors to the communist party. But they sure enjoyed working to death with little food or shelter their former teachers, professors, artists, authors and all kinds of former leaders in their society. She is just another example when indoctrination replaces learning in a society.

WILLIAM BARR, AG NOMINEE, SAYS BORDER NEEDS WALLS ‘RIGHT NOW’
DEMOCRATS REFUSE TO STAND FOR TRUMP ARRIVAL AT STATE OF THE UNION
That’s the Democrats – small minded, bitter and classless. ?
Playing the very definition of hypocrisy, many of the same Democratic leaders who spent the entire summer rationalizing and downplaying the violence in Democrat-run cities across our country have come out to condemn the violence in the riot that took place outside the Capitol building on Wednesday.
The riot that took place this week at the US Capitol, which happened during a pro-Trump rally that turned into a march down the street to the Capitol building, saw numerous protesters storm the legislature building causing Democrat lawmakers to run like frightened children, and delayed the certification of the 2020 election fraud.
Protesters went into lawmakers’ offices and trashed them, moving into the Senate chamber, and then clashing with police. At one point, an unarmed 34-year-old female 14-year Air Force veteran was shot and killed by a police officer for crouching in a window frame after the glass had been smashed out of it. The woman was not a threat and there were a number of uniformed police officers standing right behind her. Ashli Babbit was shot in the neck and was pronounced dead sometime later.
The mayhem that ensued was characterized by the mainstream media as a coup or an insurrection and was universally denounced by lawmakers from both parties. No one said any of it was mostly peaceful the way they did throughout the summer as we all watched American cities burn, businesses looted and people murdered in the streets.
Many of the same Democrat hypocrites who condemned the violence this week downplayed the summer-long daily riots that destroyed people’s lives and burned down their businesses and they didn’t care at all, because they wanted to blame it all on President Donald Trump.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said that ANTIFA was just a myth on right-wing TV.
Joe Biden, who just stole the presidential election said that ANTIFA was not a real group, but just an idea.
That “idea” harmed a hell of a lot of people over the summer and since.
Democrats supported the violent group Black Lives Matter and did everything they could to make it appear that the ugliness that the two groups and other leftists did to destroy a nation was fully justified.
Kamala Harris, who is set to be sworn in as our next vice president supported an organization that bailed out rioters so that they could get back on the streets to continue their destruction.
Harris said during an interview that the protests (read riots) are a movement and they’re not going to stop. And they shouldn’t.
It was insufferable to listen to Democrats downplay the riots and the violence by continually calling them peaceful. This woman is going to be dangerous for the next four years because she has a mean streak in her and a get-even attitude about radical ideas that America is systemically racist.
A prominent voice among the band of hypocrites is Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) (AOC), a woman who is known for her inflexible socialist beliefs and nonstop criticism of the Republican Party. She is also known to run her mouth about things she knows nothing about and usually gets it wrong, but her stupidity and ignorance in such things is not really the topic here.
Since the incident on Wednesday, AOC has been hard pushing for President Trump’s removal from office, blaming him for the mayhem that took place at the Capitol. Of course, there is no evidence whatsoever that Trump told anyone to start rioting, but that never stops a good lie by a Democrat.
On Thursday, AOC took to social media and tweeted, “Our republic is in great danger,” and then called for Trump to be removed either via the 25th Amendment or by way of a second impeachment.
“Our republic is in great danger, and it is imperiled further without swift action to protect it.
The President incited an attack on Congress. He is deeply unstable. The Cabinet must invoke the 25th amendment.
Congress must also pursue impeachment and removal of the President.”
It seems that AOC approves of political violence when it serves her purposes politically. She is on record for making ambiguous and vague opinions about the violence that took place all summer long after the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.
AOC did a video where she accused people of being hypocritical if they called for the violence to end without giving in to the rioter’s demands.
“If you are calling for an end to this unrest, and if you are a calling for an end to all of this, but you are not calling for the end of the conditions that created the unrest, you are a hypocrite,” she said in the video.
“So if you’re out here calling for the end of unrest,” she continued, “then you better be calling for health care as a human right, you better be calling for accountability in our policing, you better be supporting community review boards, you better be supporting the end of housing discrimination … Because if you don’t call for those things and you’re asking for the end of unrest, all you’re asking for is the continuation of quiet oppression.”
When she made the video multiple people had already been killed because of the riots, and more came afterward.
And that was the most docile response to the violence that the Congresswoman has given.
At the end of summer in 2019, AOC said that marginalized groups “have no choice but to riot” when their living conditions are bad.
“Once you have a group that is marginalized,” she said while discussing conflicts happening in Israel. “Once someone doesn’t have access to clean water, they have no choice but to riot.”
“I’m not even talking about Palestinians,” she added. “I’m talking about communities in poverty in the United States, I’m talking about Latin America, I’m talking about all over the world.”
She went on to say, “Social destabilization is what happens when people do not have a plan or feel like there’s no vision for their future.”
She justified political violence.
The Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said of public statues being toppled, “People will do what they do.” She also said that “from a safety standpoint, it would be a good idea to have it taken down if the community doesn’t want it.” This was from the Speaker of the House of Representatives!
Pelosi downplayed much of the violence over the summer while giving well-rehearsed lines about how violence is never a good thing and at the same time she condemned President Trump in solidarity-like speeches to support radical Democrat mayors who refused to stop riots in their cities and told the president to pound sand when he offered to send federal agents in to help quell the mayhem and burning of cities.
The dopey Democrat Senator from New Jersey Cory Booker also condemned Wednesday’s violence referring to it as a “nadir of shame.”
“It’s disgraceful that Trump and his allies have enabled this violence and attacks on our democracy,” Booker tweeted.
I guess he thought we would forget that on June 4 of last year he was far more careful in his wording over the deadly violence that took place for a week that went through multiple American cities netting over a dozen people murdered, rioters setting fire to a police station, looting, assaults, and arson all over the place.
“I think that there’s an overemphasis, for one, on rioters and looters,” the smiling jackass from New Jersey said, referring to the animals as “such a small fraction relative to peaceful protesters and activists.”
